Morning all... restless night last night. I swear I worry about those kitties too much. I'm tired, but have work to do, so I better start in on that

Sherry, yuck on that weather! Though no snow in our forecast, we are supposed to be down to the 20s this weekend I miss summer already!

Tara, never be shy about a 120 in bowling. Trust me, I am lucky if a couple games add up to that!!!! It's a miracle if I ever break 100

John, glad you and Sue were able to make that field trip and have a Ya Ya consult on the business of festivals. What a spectacular day you had there.

My "Trip Reprot" to the food prep place: Meal #1 we had last night DS#2 loved, DS#1 thought it was cr-p ona cracker! I thought it was good, I didn't have to take lots of time making it the day we ate. Meal #2 tonight--shepards pie. As far as the overall experience, well being that I am domestically challenged I didn't think the 2 managers were all that spectacular. There were 5-6 groups of 1-3 persons (kids accompanied some parents--I guess then that must mean I accompanied my Mom since she came with me to check out the place). All but Mom and me had been there before. So I'm thinking, great! I'll get a few pointers where others won't need them. OK, pointers="protein is in the fridge, recipes are on the stations, pans at the sides, bowls over there..." mix yourself a meal. OOoookay. I started overwhelmed already, mgr #1 lady didn't stop by to check on my progress or say another peep all the remaining time. Mgr #2 took pity on me when he steps over as I am wandering about saying he would give me some pointers. First pointer "before you do anything else, turn your apron right side out!" I had it so that their logo was nearest my heart and never paid attention that I wasn't advertising properly! He advised a couple more things then off I went again. All in all, I wasn't impressed with their "people skills," but I managed in spite of myself and I plan to return. Got 7 meals prepped in an hour. I may check out their competition though.

Shhhh, that 4-letter s word is bad...wait, what do I care! 2 more work sleeps then it's vaca sleeping! Whee! Just no s-words on our return. If you all want it you have it while we're away. I'm not quite ready just yet.

It has been a spectacular couple of Fall days here. Loving every second of it. We are super busy, getting things set so we can leave peacefully.

Elaine, what a cutie-pie! DS had a Princess Leia when he was in elementary school. She was all white.

Note to self: No saying the "s" word around Lily. It's supposed to start raining here tonight and continue through Friday. There's even a chance of "s"-showers on Friday, which is just terrific since DS has to drive his Mustang in the High School Homecoming Parade. Maybe he'll get wise and not go shirtless this week!

Alan - whatcha getting for a vehicle??!!

Another day of bliss!! hehehe No issues! In fact the kid started acting up so I assigned lunch detention again and he started to complain and then promptly shut his mouth and said, "No problem"

Ethan is running a 104 fever tonight so goin to make this short.

Just got back home a little bit ago. We went to the library, then to a new Super Walmart that opened in Oberlin, then stopped at Taco Bell for dinner.

Lily, yay for getting the hairs done and for vacation!! I agree...no "s" words. I'm not ready for that yet.

I didn't hit 'submit' on my post last night-and it was a good ketchup, too!

Been a busy day off here-running errands to find camping gear, halloween costumes, meds for Neil, Kevin's cooking class and scouting. Now I'm finally sitting down to some Ropa Vieja and a beer. I need a day off from my day off!

Lily, no s words from here. Enjoy that vacation. Yikes, no hands on! We give an orientation and help as much as possible. I'm actually looking at a competitor on LI to get some meals for a friend having a baby and I'm not impressed with their menu. Woohoo on 200 something days!

Pam, eek, someone else was very happy about the s stuff in the forecast, but that's what happens when you live in Rochester. So, is one of DS's school colors bllue?
