I know I've ignored so much, but forgive me of that. I am really grumpy still... I am partially not looking forward to the door tomorrow and the cracks in the wall I'll have to fix are worse than I thought...

I won't be around for a while... once the door goes in, I'll have to paint. So I'll check in when I can

I go back to that in July.
I now have about 9 people staying here over the July 4th long weekend.

Summertime at Disneyland might be a bit warm. Perhaps a move to Castaway Cay or some other tropical location might be appropriate for summer. They do have cabanas on Castaway Cay.

Hey we can make it the rafting home....I'll be rafting in 60 degree water this weekend...what in the world was I thinking when I signed up for this???

I agree forget Jay, tho he did say that I had done a lot of work. he didn't say it was good work, but that I had worked! oh well!!

I tried my hand at the mitre box tonight okay, so I need a little practice figuring out which way to cut the ends for inside corners and outside corners. After 2 hours I had to perfect cuts out of about 8! Not a great batting average. But they are getting better. It may be worth it to go to HD and rent a saw to do this work to get it all done in one weekend.

I am available for rent...for a fee of course the only catch is that you have to take just me and not my kids!!! oh and I would need accomodations and access to the dis!

Elaine...good luck with your door stuff tomorrow and that your mood improves!!

Suzanne...open a store up here, hire me and I'll learn to cook!! hehehe I'm going to hunt high an dlow in my room tonight and see if I can find that other brace. I'm sure one of the kids put it in a safe place

Nancy...that's a lot of people for the 4th of July. Tell 'em to bring sleeping bags and call it a sleep over!

Morning all! Quick hi as the door people are coming and I need to find a way to block the cats off from the front room.

As for moving... honestly was planning on it, but with all the server busy messages, I thought it wasn't a wise idea to try to move. I was afraid of losing people behind.

We can do an island if y'all like... the other suggestion I got was resort hopping at WDW. That way we could see them all and move to new locations weekly (either w/in the thread or separate threads).

So... give me your input and we'll move shortly

Um Tara... that would be perfect here! We have high speed internet connection here, so no problem! And you'll get your own room and everything

Nancy, good luck with the people at your house for the 4th!!!! I really don't know if I would have the patience for it! And I know how you feel about the server busy... getting to me too as well

Enjoy the day everyone, I have no clue when I'll be around! I'll try to take pics of the door after they installed it (before I paint most likely though). I was thinking of only priming the door today so it would be pink for Luis. Well it's a rose colored base primer... that would crack me up, though I don't think he'd care for that

Lainey, I'm in the same boat-Haverty's called me at 7am and said they'd be here at 7:45! Eeeek...gotta get Neil out to school first! Good thing it's nearby.

Then the FIOS tech should be here between 8 and 11. Once we figure out what wall in Kevin's freshly painted room the Cat 5 cable goes on, I'll be moving his furniture into his new room while the guy does his work.

I'll probably be back sometime this afternoon...the cabling is supposed to take 3 to 4 hours.

Quick hi... door in... first coat of primer on... now on to red. I was going to let Luis think I was going to keep the pink, but I don't think that would work that well

Guy did a great job and fixed our storm door. No complaints there at all!

Elaine...I think a pink door would be perfect!! hehehe And I'll have my bags packed shortly...well, after my rafting trip this weekend mom has threatend to kill me if I get hurt, maimed, or killed!!

I'm up for resort hoping or island hoping whichever we would like to do.

Lily...I did consider the source but I just can't imagine saying something like that to someone after they put in so much work. I don't know why it should surprise me since on the first Valentines day we had I gave him a cute stuffed animal and he looked at it and just tossed it down. When I asked him what was wrong he said that he was "very particular about his stuffed animals" and that this one didn't fit his standards I took the stuffy back and told him I would give it to my valentine the following year because it surely wouldn't be him!

Suzanne...okay, I have to ask...what is FIOS? I'm sure I should know but right now the name is escaping me!!

Well, it has been an exciting day here...I broke up a fight between 2 girls today. I was the first one on the scene and no one heard them screaming. I had to yell "i need some help out here!" before someone came running out. There was hair pulling, witch slapping (if'n you know what I mean), and general ugliness. There was a clump of hair on the floor where the girl had her hair band ripped out. Someone told me that I was brave to jump in with these two girls...I said not brave...stupid!!!!

Have counseling tonight...yippee I get to tell him how my kid has been out of control and how I ahven't been able to get him under control even with all of his psychological tricks!!

After that we are going to grab a quick, cheap bite for dinner and then we are going to BJ's wholesale club...if the baby doesn't get diapers soon I'll have way more to clean up than I want to!!

I'll check in tonight and see how things are going!!

We've been FIOSed, which is verizon's fiber optic internet/cable/phone service. They advertise 15mps, but we did a systems check and we're pulling 22.5 mps. I'm sure that will change as more people get on the bandwagon.

I'm home, but I've been working sporadically through the afternoon, making reservations for the clients that have my cell number. I gave it out in the mass emails before we had the store number. No matter. Last time I checked, I had almost 6,000 rollover minutes! It pays when almost everyone you talk to is also on Cingular.

The migration of Kevin's junk has started-for now, it appears to be a clean room. Once his toys begins, all hope of seeing the floor will be over.

Got my new power cable, but I'm having the same issue as before. I think we need to open the case and secure the connector inside the laptop better.

In Laws for dinner later, I need to get cracking on the home fries. They take a while.

I now know I will *NEVER* paint a room red. It is so much dang work. This door will need at least 2 more coats of paint before I am done. I'm getting new brushes tomorrow too.

Suzanne, I hope you get the power adapter connection thingie all worked out. That is a PITA to deal with.
