Morning, Ya Ya's.

I see a couple of people have sneated already by opening my Yahoo mail!

I have been a busy girl. Did inventory all day Sunday in the stockroom, more like straightened up and put like items together. Then we had the store holiday party Sunday night. That was lots of fun, and I finally can enjoy the party instead of keeping watch over DS1 all night (yeah, new meds!).

Funny story. DH watched me put Essence into the breadcrumbs for the crabcakes before I left the house (I made the crab mixture, he was going to bread and fry). He got home and saw there was no seasoning in the flour and thought there was no seasoning in the breadcrumbs, so he put something like a cup of essense into them. But everybody raved and there were none left. Hostess was very tickled because I brought a big bowl of remoulade for the crabcakes and there was a lot left over and I told her to enjoy! That stuff is great with shrimp, yummy!

Yesterday, I was at the store 14 hours to get the stockroom inventoried before the company that does the sales floor came in. No time for the 'pute when I got home.

I don't even have time for ketchup right now, but I will be back this evening....don't be so mothy today, okay.

Liz got her staples out!! Hooray - and she walked without crutches! Yipee!!

Took Gunny to the vet for check-up and shots - he had a little ear infection - that added $40.00 to the bill but the vet says he is a very healthy, albeit active, puppy!! He's up to 12.5 pounds now. Chews on everything but doing slightly better on the housetraining.

Bella - how's the love life??

what would you do?

Greg and I are tentatively ( me more than he) planning our trip. He is not one to plan, and gets aggrivated when I plan to the inth degree. So, I asked him if Disney for my birthday would be an option...of course he says maybe. If he were to say NO...that is a clear indication that there is no way. When he says maybe....that is my cue to start looking into options. So, of course I did. There are a few flights that work and rooms are available with codes for a cheaper price!! Yeah!! It is looking like Greg will get in on Wednesday night or Thursday morning....and we will leave Monday. A quick trip...but a trip none the less....here is where I need your thoughts.....

Greg's neices are dancing at Universal Studios in Orlando, the week before. After talking to Michele, Greg's sister in law, she tells me I should change our plans and go the week before to see the "Greg's nieces" dance. How could I think about going the week after? Well, to me that was pretty easy....I had no intention of watching them dance at Universal...we were going to Disney! A bit of history as well....I have made sure that Greg and I have ALWAYS attended most of their dance compitions and recitals. We always bring flowers and make a big deal of their accomplishments. We enjoy doing it, because we want to!!! Not because we have to.

I did try to explain, (silly me) that this was our vacation last year....a short trip, and we were planning on spending our time at Disney. I also let her know we only go to Disney once a year....not 3 or 4 like they do. I let her know we need to make the most out of our trips. I was told I was being selfish and should really rethink my decisions....after all these were Greg's neices. Can I tell you I am pissed!!!

I have always prodded and sometimes forced Greg to spend time and take interest in his nieces. He has done it, most of the time without complaining. But I am not going to force this issue.....am I being selfish not wanting to go?

Of course, there are other issues.....one being money....although Greg could afford to go to Universal, I really can't...then there is the rental car which we would have to rent. which we were not going to do. Then, the thought that I have had surgery and have not so much as received a card, call flower or thought as to how I was doing for the last two weeks.

Sorry to vent, I just wanted an opinion to this!!! Am I being silly? I know you guys may have opposing views, and I am OK with that.... i just need to know if I am really being selfish, or being bullied!! Thanks!!

Liz are they dancing in competitions??? I think if you have supported them through out the years that she would understand
if you miss one competition. Ater all they last all day long. I would not feel guilty. You are recovering from surgery and it is YOUR vacation YOU earned it I would just tell her to kiss my booty!
