Just got in from a late night. One of my best friends and I took a scrapbook class tonight and then just sat out in the parking lot for a couple of hours chatting. It was fun, Im hoping to scrapbook some of our pictures.
Tara my babies are: Michael, Matthew, Evan and Connor. And I call Michael and Matthew by their full names. It really drives me crazy when someone calls them Mike or Matt (actually Matt doesnt bother me to much but Mike does).
We could have Tara's shower in the chat room here. They have several room--even thought the main one is not usually busy anyway. Well guess Im off to bed.

Today is my DS's 12th birthday
! Where has the time gone? Bad mom here. I haven't picked up a thing so I must be off so I can leave work a little early and hit the store on the way home.

Elaine....glad you had a good time at the concert. Pictures in Chicago are good, but with Junior and Todd video is needed for the full effect. They really get into 'people watching'.

I don't know if I will ever be able to keep the boys names straight. I am still working on getting Sherry's straight.

Someone will have to update Shep and I on the shower, once it happens. We don't have a laptop and since we will be in Tennessee we will miss out on all the fun.

Seen baby Ryan last night. He is a cutie. I didn't get to take pictures since it was a last minute visit. He is already a Daddy's boy. I have to say that it didn't make me want another baby. It actually brought up memories I really didn't want to remember, as well as some I did want to remember.

Liz - I would like to pencil myself down for a nap between 9-noon - I am VERY tired.

Pammy Snugglepuss Sweetiekins, I do believe you are off this time. No Orli, Craig or even Antonio this time... I went and saw Enrique Iglesias in concert last night... and he is just swimming in sexiness. I'd never seen him in person before and he looks better in person And truthfully he sings wonderfully live as well! I can't say that about everyone

Amanda, I'll make sure that all the guys at work eat my cookies... at least I hope they do, because I am trying to be good as well! Somehow I think it will be worth a trip to Chicago just to watch Todd and Junior together

Pam it was just a beginning class so we only did one page. She showed us the tools--the ones "real" scrapbookers love and use and some they dont. I bought I neat little corner rounder last night--the one that holds the clippings. I went mostly because I have a lot of big pics from our vacations, like the one's they take of your family when you enter a park, or ride pics. Those dont fit in my vacation albums (to many pics to scrapbook those). Now I think Im going to go back and make scrapbook pages for the boys old school pics, football pics etc and just keep those in the books I have for them.
It really was fun.

Thanks for all the B'day wishes for DS. Now can someone
give me an idea for a present? The dilemma is, he only asked for
some Yu-gi-oh cards, but these are SPECIAL cards. 3 of these cards "if you can find them" are $80. I just can't see spending that kinda $$$$ on cards that aren't gonna be worth that months down the road. Am I wrong? But, he didn't give me any other ideas either and I'm tired of getting PS2 games, gameboy games. I'm just not in a gift thinking mood right now

Morning all

Another exciting night here ten minutes after taking trash can out front last night wind picks up ...I look out my window and can't even see the house across the street it is blowing sand around so bad. I look at my trash can and it is about to go flying down the road. Had to go back out and get it Get back inside and power goes off. I got lucky it came back on pretty quick. Jack called and said they had lost power all over town and probably would not get it back on until morning. Wind was gusting up to 45 mph.

Elaine...if Luis comes we are really going to have to keep our distance. Junior, Luis and Todd together at Towncrier's is one thing...out in public is another

RoseMary...my mind is blank and I have several nephews close to this age. How about getting your son a gift certificate for something he has never done before (indoor rock climbing, golfing)...something he could do with another male. Several of my nephews would love for Todd to take them golfing since their Dad's don't golf.

Dan....What about chicago?

Thanks for the help Amanda. The golf idea would be cool but, no one I know golfs. Too bad Todd isn't closer . I'm still wracking my brain. I'm about at the point of $$ in his card and taking him shopping. It was always so easy when he was younger.
