Karen,
It sounds as though you just need to drop a few things from your schedule. Drop Team Kid and then just don't go to Bible Study.
I personally read the Bible every day, as well as praying. (Yeah - even with my potty mouth!

) I don't, however, take Communion at Church as I feel I am not at a place to be worthy of such an act. I've had many interesting talks with my pastor on this one. I am on 2 committees at Church - I tell them up front that I am not big on talking at meetings - just let me know what you need me to do and I'll get it done. So far it's worked out pretty good.
Over the years I stopped being the Mom who was in charge of everything - sat back and let someone else do it for a change. It's quite refreshing - and my kids and I were happier for it. My two admitted in their teens that they were quite resentful that I always gave my time and $$$ to others who didn't appreciate my efforts.
Sitting on the sidelines and being able to watch my kids participate in plays, sports, cheer, dance, Scouts etc. has been great. I have tons of photos and many more happy memories to cherish.
Deena - the poor lady got very quiet on the phone and then said, "Well, Pam.... you certainly are honest."
Hope all the sickies in your house get better soon!!
