Stacey....you made my MIL's short stay seem like heaven. Good luck with 'keeping your eyes closed'. I finally told DH, last year, that I will never stay in the same place with his SIL....she 'spreads' out everywhere, I can't stand it.

Lily...you sure your son isn't my brother My brother called today to tell me his transmission is going out, can't drive in reverse, and it will cost $1500.00 to repair...it is not old car syndrome.

Thanks for the well wishes...we really just need for God's will to be done. If it isn't His will we won't be able to make it with Todd on first shift. Paying for childcare, with a possible pay cut and the stress of childcare...Sherry, sure you don't want to move near us

Well, Jarrod's appt went well. It was not his tonsils, it was his sinus' draining. Apparently they are draining at night and straight down his throat. So I have Flonase for him and I'm going to start giving him Claritan. See if we can nip it in the bud before the sinus season gets into full swing.

Headed to bowling tonight. Not sure I'll get back tonight. Stay warm and have fun!

Yippee, Suzanne got more Be Mine toppers!! And I know Rte. 7 can be a zoo--that's why I stay off it!! Will be headed out to bell practice in a few and I go the back way to church to avoid 7. There have been times when it has taken me 20 minutes to go 2 blocks on that dang road!! So I stay as far away as I can.

Hi there.....

I am having a poopey day...it started off great....lost 4 pounds last week...and loving this whole new exercise thing I am doing....then I went to go look at a "real" running store and got bummed beyond belief....you can read about it here if you would like. Why are people so mean? I just don't get it!!
Argh!!

On a differant note...I have been getting MANY calls from a head hunter. Today, I got a call form the head hunter's boss....seems like they are VERY interested in me......could be a problem though.....the job that was reletively close (2 hours away) was filled, but they would REALLY like me to interview for a position in DFW.......some one will be calling me soon to see what travel dates and times will work best for me....who knew.....not sure that is something I want to do right now...but since there aren't any other offers just sitting there......and nobody is running to knock down my door.....Oye!! Anyway, time will tell what this is all about!!

Sorry this is an EOIP...but I am reeling with the events of the day!

Well, as it turns out DS's car will cost about $1,500. DH was able to negotiate a bit. Helps that he knows the owner of the business. They usually do a quid pro quo for things. Still bites into the vaca $$. I asked DH about putting the $ into another car and he is not ready to discuss that option yet.

We already have Cancun paid for and the September Members Cruise. We need airfare yet. We were discussing that we wanted to get to WDW when folks would be going in Nov/Dec. Not looking good just now. I'm grateful though that we already have our two weeks set. That will be lovely. So really we are not vacationless.

Liz, sorry you had to go through that nasty man. Cheeto patrol needs to be organized! Ya Yas to the ready!

Hey all,

WooooooHooooooo we got all our tax stuff in so Im gonna hit up dh to go do our taxes tonight. I am praying and hoping we get something back. I don't care if it's just a little we need to have some sort of fallback fund. I can't stand being this broke all the time.

Well I got an interesting email from the director of childrens ministries. Seems she thinks I need more God in my life and thinks I need to go to a bible study instead of doing Team Kid. She says I have lost the joy I once had. Ummmmm lets see....being ill enough to be told to go to the hospital, heavy heavy heavy meds for almost a month, very little sleep on a nightly basis due to the lack of oxygen, two ADHD kids, money problems, problems at work and trying to quit smoking on an empty tank. Gee do ya think I just might have lost some of my spark recently?? Geez!!! Just what I need ONE MORE THING TO DO......I need LESS not MORE.

Well I did it again. I forgot to post this before we left to go do our taxes. We are getting a decent refund back....THANK GOD. I thought we would get next to nothing but I was wrong. Now we will have a bit of a fall back fund. WHEW!!!

Beth Im glad to hear that you got to work okay. Im sorry your bosses are keeping you so busy.

OK, pass me some tissues, please.....choir director made a big announcement tonight. Her husband has accepted a new job and they are moving!!!! And, of course, they are taking my 3 little princesses with them!!!! I think I am going to be taking TONS of pictures when I babysit next week.

Ummmm Beth you forgot Upwards Basketball ROFL. We are litterally at church five out of seven days a week. Thankfully we are not yet at time for VBS but we are already being hit up to jump onboard. Me thinks we will jump overboard and bow out for this. Dh and I need a break. I know at least I am burning out. Dh was so cute he sent me an email after he read her email and I will be doggone he hit how I am feeling right now right on the head. He was so right on it was scary. He knows me just too well.

The puppet is articulated and the report and puppet are residing nicely in my eldest's backpack. I have never been so happy to get a project DONE as I am this project. GEESH. I about thought I'd go loonball with this puppet. The report was easy for him but this puppet drove all of us up the wall trying to figure it out. I now have tons of stuff that we bought for making a material puppet that Im not going to use including a raggedy ann raggedy andy pattern. I think I will try and find someone down here who will use the pattern and see if they can make me a set. I would love a set for my bed. Me thinks Im rambling LOL

Liz I am SO sorry that happened to you today. What an everloving JERK that guy was. Just remember what you give out you get back three fold and he will get his for being so nasty to you.

Well I go to the pulmonologist tomorrow at 3:30 and he will tell me what we do about the breathing problem at night. He said oxygen the other day so Im guessing that's what I will be on from now until things hopefully get better with my lungs. At least maybe I will sleep better.

Speaking of sleep. I think Im gonna as dh for a footie rub and hit the hay myself.

DH just did some prelim figures on our tax return. Whew! We do not owe! BTW, the $ on the car repair I guess is really a deal. Ted used to own a repair garage and at least when we need work done that he chooses to not do or have the boys do at least he can know what needs to be done and usually tells the mechanics. They love him. (not always) Anyway, we usually don't get unneeded repairs. He usually knows the problem before they do. It is just still a lot of $ yet a lot less than another car that we are currently not prepared to want to get at this time. Yech.
