Morning, all!
Got back around 9 last night. Had a good couple of days up north, but glad to be home and off for five days. Funny story to relate. Had the today show on Tuesday am and was SHOCKED to see it was 20 degrees out. Looked out at my car and there wasn't any frost on it (I left all the ice scrapers in Maryland, btw!). Get into the car an hour later and it's 35 degrees. Okay, it warmed up 15 degrees in an hour-Florida weather is weird, that could happen.
The next morning, I have the Today show on again-21 degrees on the screen. Then I found out that the NBC affiliate I'm watching is from Atlanta! Geez, only 5 hours north of where I am, lol! Why not Jacksonville, Orlando or Tampa-all two hours away?!! It was pretty funny.
Anywho, here's to a looooong ketchup, because there's 10 pages to go through.
Kim, lots of closet "Princess Bride" fans out there, I find. I'm so bad I can recite whole stretches of the movie, lol!
Lily, very cool pictures! You have an amazing array of lime green shirts, girl! Bravo on doing the marathon!
BTW, I called my lender Monday night with the fax number at the hotel. My rep called me promptly at 9 the next morning, faxed it to me and I got it back right away. Once again, I'm happy with the lender, not happy with the ding dong that sold me the house(but like the builder otherwise).
Kristy, I'm sure you'll find a way to display the toppers-one of the people at the store I just came from hangs them from her rearview mirror. I hesitate to think that Mickey had his ears pierced for that one!
Bethie, are you enjoying your snow? Was hearing from Maryland and Long Island, and the parties involved were not as happy as you to see white stuff!
Liz, okay, will order up the nice weather for Greg's visit, just make sure he doesn't watch NBC from ATLANTA while he's at Aunt Helen's! Tell him to get a house guide and he'll surely want to move-prices are really good, and that's even with the amount they've gone up in the past five years.
Karen, valerian works great for sleepy time. That lavendar you have works well, too. Now, if you need to wake up, rosemary works like a charm. Yep, I have a bunch of essential oils from my tenure at Bath and Body works, and those all were my faves. I've got a backpack that I've been using for many years that has seen some rough use-it's from Northface, I think. It went through three years of college and goes travelling with my everywhere. Once I dig it out, I'll let you know, because it sounds like the boys need something like it.
Ohhh, now I want Chinese food for lunch, thanks Caroline! At least we've got a good place here. We tried another one and it was beyond bad. Spoiled former NY'er here, I'm sooo picky about it.
Happy birthday, Nancy...sorry I missed it! I wanted to go see Coach Carter while I was away, but it's 2 1/2 hours long and it was showing at 10:30!
Susie, I love your 'one size fits all' ketchup! You can save that one and use it when you don't have time to post!
Tara, I didn't send the sinus headache. Mine disappeared right after Christmas season was over, so someone else gained it around 12/28. That's retail for ya!
Okay, I caught up to page 272...I'll be back later. Gotta run a few errands before the boys get home from school.
