Good morning all! Yucky icky weather... schools are closed or on delay and honestly I am still not feeling all that great. I cannot tell if it is a cold or sinus stuff yet either. Since my nose isn't stuffy, I might go with sinus stuff thanks to the cold weather.

Caroline, that is too funny to me about the weather! Sometimes those who work in a certain area are the most oblivious to what is going on around them in that area. Some people think I know things aobut phones and telecom, but not really

Our family vacation coincides with WMPenney's Project X, but I'm not certain whether or not my family will have any interest in participating. But we'll be at WDW from June 12th through June 24th at Old Key West. Woohoo.

Well, I found out that my local school is in session today. The school I work in had a 2 hour delay and the school district that lies between the two was off today. There was really no need for cancelations though... maybe delays. Or maybe the plows could've gotten up a wee bit earlier

As for WMPenny's project... nope, given absolutely no consideration to it. I know I can't swing another trip (already have my 2 for this year planned) and honestly, since I am kidless, I'd rather totally avoid WDW in the summer (or any other crowded time). Sounded interesting thoguh.

No plans for a June trip here either. Wedding month!! Wouldn't go in June anyway. Too hot for me!!

Liz...running a marathon in August and jan!! go girl!! Weight loss is stagnate here. I think I must be PMS. Wanted only salty food last night. Weight is staying at 6.5 down. Was up to 8 the other day but I think I'm a little poufy now!! I hope to get back on the wagon here soon and loose some more.

Stacy...sorry you feel so bad...been there done that I know how you feel. I hope the next time you take the class things will go better...and I will tell you as one sped (special education teacher) to another if you ever work in the mainstream or do resource you may run into kids who need help with these classes...especially with NCLB. I struggle with the kids who need help in this area...I'm mathmatically challenged (not to mention spelling challenged!) Like the others have said come here to vent, cry, scream and jump up and down!!

Okay, I was quick on my typing... I live in one school district, and I only drive two school districts over to where I work. Each district is in charge of closing schools and such. I just thought it was interesting that my city (which I was trying not to type out the specific name of for personal reasons) was open, the one I drive through to get to the city I work in was closed and the one I work in (but don't work FOR) was on a 2 hour delay. Of course when I say I live in Columbus, I am sure that doesn't make sense when I talk about other cities The truth is, I do not technically live *in* Columbus. I live in another totally different city that is right next door to Columbus. So for voting & tax purposes I am in a whole other city. We share a zip code with Columbus, so we get away with using that on our addresses and since this is the internet I don't usually share what my *real* city is.

Moving on... I work in telecom and for a "wonderful" long distance portion of a company. I'd tell ya more, but then I'd have to shoot ya

Reminds me of a guy that I used to work for. His idea of half days was a 12 hour workday. Don't overdo it SSB!!!

Did I mention that they did actually install heated sidewalks and that they are finally hooked up? Only they didn't bother heating the sidewalks that lead out to the parking lot. Just the ones that go between buildings. But since you can get from one building to another without going outside, I have no idea why they spent all that money. Our parking lot is covered in 3 inches of slush today. And it has lots of low spots where black ice can form. I guess that I'm just going to have to keep on doing the old man shuffle to get around.

Just wanted to peep in again...we're flying to Kimmie's neck of the woods tomorrow...I'll be sure to check out the local Wal Mart's and ShortTrack skate rinks to see if I can get a glimpse of the woman. She's pretty little, so kind of hard to spot...I'll just look for the big hair.
