Well Pam I was just about to nominate Talking Hands on the nicest Disers thread. What do you think? :teeth: :crazy2:
And it looks like Lily had a little to much sugar tonight with all that hopping around ;)
John--I found your sock, but only 1. The other is forever gone in the sock black hole.
Took the boys to see Shark Tales today. It was pretty cute. We are looking forward to The Incedibles. and I really want to see the Grudge.
Im so glad its almost Nov because that means its almost Dec :)
Sherry if you move here to Texas you only need summer clothes and a wind breaker for the 2 or 3 chilly days we have per year :teeth: No changing out winter/summer clothes.

DIS wouldn't let me in

Now it is bed time....see ya tomorrow.....COOKIE DAY!!

Hope everyone is feeling better by then.

Morning!

Deena, that would be so nice to not have to have winter clothes. :teeth:

Lily, it has been really nice hasn't it?

Suzanne, sorry to hear no leg surgery.

Nancy, what kind of cookies today?

Gotta start getting the boys up. Have more clothes to wash and get out of the attic today.

Morning all!!

Hi Lily :teeth: I think I agree with Deena ;)

Suzanne, so sorry about the surgery delay. I hope your insurance figures it out soon! Oh and a friend of mine says something similar... "drop the kiddies off" :p

Deena... you are so bad ;)

Sherry, good luck with the cleaning!

Morning Pammysweetums!

Rainy yucky day again. Hopefully this day will fly by.

Page 3!!

Good morning.....IT"S BACK!! It's cold!!

Suzanne.....good luck with the insurance.
Reminds me I need to call our car insurance and see if they ever got reimbursed for the accident and get my deductible back!

Pumpkin Cheesecake bars today.

How are our sickies doing today?

Deena ;) :rotfl:

Last day to sign up for the exchange!! Anyone else?? Now is your chance. No males this time :(

Shhhh.... I sneaked on for a fast update, don't tell my evil boss!:o

Invoicing is just not moving all today...:( And I have had a couple of asthma attacks......

and I want a Dairy Queen.

I should have just stayed in bed today.

Sounds like you need to head over to Coldwater Creek at Polaris and buy some new clothes. While you are at it, would you mind buying me a new watch and 1 black sock (since one seems to have gone missing according to Deena).

Good morning! This sickie is starting to see some improvement, but can't get any sleep for the coughing  Voice is beginning to come back, finally! DH is down with it now, too.

I'll have some Pumpkin Cheesecake bars!! Oh my, do those ever sound good!! Nancy, I don't suppose you could get MY name in the exchange and just send a case of your baked goods?? ;)

"Drop the kiddies"??!!! Reminds me --when I was babysitting last week, one of the twins was so proud, she insisted I had to come see what she made in the potty!! Standing at the door and pretending to peer at the bowl wasn't good enough. I got the, "No! You have to stand right here!" 3 year olds....

Laine, it's rainy and yucky here today too. I love the turning leaves part of fall, but this gloomy weather is just the pits! I'm thinking you will drag yourself to the mall and shop for a new dress for that wedding and in true Lainey fashion, you will find a fantastic deal on something that looks positively smashing on you!! And all the gloom will be magically washed away since Luis will love it too and shower you with compliments!

Suzanne, sorry the insurance co. is dragging its feet over your surgery. Love how non-medical people are allowed to make the decisions on whether or not a procedure is necessary or cosmetic! Hope the pictures help and the appeal goes through with a positive outcome. We want you "fixed" and able to play come December!

Deena, I've often thought about how much money I'd save if I didn't have to buy heavy coats and furry boots and the like---but the 2 1/2 years I lived in Calif. cured me. I'm a northern girl and miss my snow and crisp, cold weather too much. It's the gloomy, wet, sloppy stuff I can do without.......

Anybody been able to catch our bouncing Lily, yet?! Hope you are having a happy day, today, Lil!

Sherry, hope you are feeling better and can conquer that mountain of winter clothing! How were the tacos?

Well, both bosses are in so I need to look busy. Will check back with ya'll later. :grouphug: and mad love to all. Hope ya'll have a great day!

Okay, I've almost finished ketchuping but I have to get back to work here soon so I wanted to jump in and say hi!!

Quick update;

tara

 Kimmie.....how is your mother doing? Hope things are going well.

Well, Beth.....I can always send recipes ;) I don't think the traveling would do them well :teeth:
I'll let you know how this kind turns out. 3 layers.....good thing I have nothing else to do today

Hi Tara....bye Tara :wave2:

Hi Nancy! She's doing well! :bounce: She had surgery on Friday and is doing beautifully, but last week and the weekend were scary. It was a risky surgery and even more so in her case. None of us really knew how it would turn out. The Lord has taken wonderful care of her though. I am so grateful!

Nancy is making pumpkin cheesecake bars??? Oh my!! That sounds heavenly!!

Hi eveyone! Hope all is well and you and yours are all happy and healthy.

Sooooo, how's yer mom doin' ?? (hello ya-yas!)

 Oooops, nver mind - just saw yer post!

Hi Ya Yas!
Ohh khay-moving slowwwer nowwww.

An all girls exchange? Well ain't that something.

Suzanne, I am so sorry that you must wait longer to get that procedure. I wish there would be some way for those making the decisions, since the medical profession is certainly not capable, to have firsthand knowledge. It just amazes me that the insurance companies just can't trust/believe the medical profession. Hmpf!
Hope you don't have to wait too long for your clearance.

Kimmie! Glad to hear from you. Been sending PD and all for you and family. Glad to hear Mom is on the mend.

Deena, you bad girl you! :p

Beth, cute kid story.

Pam, some days no matter how much we work it seems like it is going slow. Hope it improves for you.

John, you're cute. :teeth:

Sherry, I am impressed that you are still at it and not caving into these great days here.

Tara, sorry about your jerk boss. Baby under a desk, now that is cute! Good luck with your Anna Nicole thing.

Nancy, Mmmm recipies if they are good would be appreciated. The pumpkin cookies didn't go over very well at our house.

Elaine, hoping that your day is flying by.

I'll be looking forward to a walk after work today. It is another beautiful warm Fall day here.

Glad to hear your mother is doing well, Kimmie.

Okay, Lily, I will taste test just for you :teeth:

Whoever gets RM's name in the exchange, might get it without a survey. :( Unless she pops up before Friday.....but holiday stuff is pretty easy ::yes::

Excuse me for total lack of catch up today...

We found out this morning (via an article) that we are forced into being a part of a union. Part of this crap means I will definitely see a reduction in pay for benefits that I won't even get to use. My vacation and time off are different as well... and the kicker is, I won't know details until next week on my exact salary as well as other benefits.

I am highly ticked off! To a very not good point as well.

Hey all,

Sad day for me today. I will NOT be able to make the December meet. Dh and I did a lot of talking and it is just not possible. He pointed out some things and I just had to agree with him on. Going to cancel the ressies today and get our deposit back. Sigh..........

Kimmie Im glad to hear that mom is doing so well. More prayers and pixie dust headed her way.

Suzanne Im so sorry you are having this problem with the insurance company. I work with them every day and I know how they can be from both a professional standpoint and a person standpoint. I've dealt with both this week alone. I do billing for a medical office hence the professional part.

Nancy those pumkin cheesecake bars sound so yummy!!!

Im sorry I can't get into the exchange this time. Unfortunately extra money is not in the budget right now.

Liz saying lots of prayers that you get the job. Glad you had a good time in Vegas and came home with more money than you went with!!! Woooo hoooo!!

Bethie glad you are feeling better but sorry that Dave now has it. Gonna miss you this December kiddo. Feel bad that you and ds wont get that date we had planned.

Elaine Im sorry you will be forced to join a union. I always thought union jobs paid more but shows you how much I know about it. I hope the benefits are for the better and not worse.

Well I guess I better get back to work. HUGS to all and a HIDEY HO to all I didnt mention specifically.

Elaine, that is just amazing that you had no say in this matter. I don't get it. You like(d) this job as I recall too.

Karen, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. There will be another time. Hang in there.

Ok Nancy, I'm glad you are going to do a taste test. Thank you.
