Morning Ya Yas!

Amanda, sorry that you are still not well. Hope that you make it through your day ok. I like your style of movies better too, but I will watch and enjoy sci-fi and scary. I get bored with all the ones with violence and foul language.

Nancy, that chocolate is too cute.

Sherry, glad you are feeling better. Hope the dentist day goes well.

Elaine, hope you managed a page or two before you fell asleep. I love to read before bed; I just don't always take the time.

Welcome to the world of men, Elaine. I gave up years ago and just clean around him ;)

Harumph!!! :smooth:

BTW - Could someone come over and help cleanup my inbox? And does anyone know where my clean socks are?

Amanda, so sorry you aren't feeling well still. I hope you'll get better soon. I have to laugh... a "neat packrat"? Oh how I wish I could be. Some of the rooms in the house are fine... others have been ignored. I'm a terrible packrat and trying to at least get organized about it all. Of course I don't think Luis is that much better... oh well. I hope that if I can get the house totally taken care of (something that honestly hasn't ever happened since we moved) then it will be easier in the future.

Lily, I love reading before bed too. I did manage to get one chapter of a book in last night. I wanted to read at least from one other, but didn't want to stay up any later. It is such a wonderful thing to do for me (to read like that :)) I forgot to ask yesterday, how did Ted's first day back go?

:rotfl:
John... so bad!!! Btw, we still on for the 6th? I think my diet might take a hit that day because a friend wants to do dinner, comedy show & Gameworks thta night

.....Vietna-a-a-a-a-a-a-am!!

Howdy YA-YAS!!!

E! ~

Waddaya MEAN ya have no desire to see Van Helsing???!?!?!? (that's okay - I DON'T SHARE my cabana boys:teeth: !!)

Nancy ~
"....Dad is great....he give us the choc-lit cake!....."

Bethie-poo ~
Feel betta soon!

Back from the dentist. All went well. Dentist said there should be no problem with the tooth. We were only there like 10 minutes. Julian wasn't happy that I sent him to school. :teeth:

Seems Junior now has my cold. It won't be long before we all have it, I guess.

Amanda, feel better.

My house is a wreck. We have company coming Friday so I'll be doing a big cleaning probably tomorrow or Thursday. :teeth:

Good morning.

Glad you are feeling better today Sherry. And that the tooth repair went well.....even if Julian had to go to school ;)

Amanda feel better.

How is Beth today?

John :p Well, my DH's clean socks are in the drawer where I put them after I washed them. And they don't get washed if he can't at least get them into the hamper ;) which is not all the time.

Off to wait for a shot again today......at least no appointment after. Christin and I are going to see Surviving Christmas later.

Have a good day all.

John, Oh my, you could be living in our house. I am at work and get this type of call all day when they are home alone!
More days than not, I get amnesia when they call me at work. They still haven't figured that one out.
Sherry is a Mean Mom. He had to go back to school. (I probably would have done the same.)
Oh no, hope the family doesn't get too sick there.

Kimmar, howdy back!

Nancy, hope you don't have to wait too long at the Dr. Have fun at the movie.

I'm the pack rat too, but not too neat about it. DS#1 I think is worse than me. DH and DS#2 are great shedders of excess stuff. I am in that phase of life that I want to learn to shed some stuff too. I am trying. It is difficult.
:hyper:

Not sure which is better...being 'stuffy' or 'nasuea'. The DayQuil unstuffed me but not I feel sick to my stomach.

Sherry...glad the Dr. appt went well.

Lily...as stated on another post a while ago, I am very anti-pack rat. Todd never knows what will happen when I get in cleaning mode. I have worked with him on the neat part. I am working on him not keeping things. We have an area in my room where the girls are to 'anti-pack' things. They do pretty well, even Mandy who tends to be more like her Dad.

Back to work!

Elaine - Thanks for the reminder about the 6th and our road trip to Columbus.

To everyone else - I found my socks. Has anyone seen my watch???

Just made a quick run to Wal-Mart and was happy to see The Day After Tomorrow still for about $15. So I bought it :teeth:

Kimmar, now you have that stuck in my head. I have Bill Cosby on DVD and love it! Even better than what I listened to on our record... just the facial expressions that he puts with are great!

Sherry, glad all went well with the dentist... poor Julian had to go back ;) I hope everyone in your house gets well or stays well soon :)

Nancy, good luck with teh doc! I hope it doesn't hurt too much!

Lily, the only way I get through things is to take Luis with me and have him decide. My dad came from poor farmers (at least at times they were poor) and so they saved everything. Luis came from Army so they had to move all the time. We each learned from our father, so Luis is *far* better about dumping things than I am. Wish he'd help more... but then again I fight him when he goes to dump things :p

Amanda, sorry that you are feeling sick to your stomach. Sadly I personally take stuffy over that any day!

LOL, John! Do you know what time lunch will be? I think I'm going to have to drag Luis away from teh game that day ;)

As for your watch... Lily is right... but I would bet it is hiding out with my Tink watch that I still cannot find :p

Just tell me they didn't know you were coming in or had no idea what you were coming in for

Sorry about that

:wave2:

Ran errands this afternoon and then came home and started bringing the winter clothes out of the attic. Ugh! I hate this time of year.
I think I did too much too soon, though. :(

Nancy, sorry you didn't get your shot. :(

I'm the pack rat here. Junior hates it. He loves to pitch everything.

Off to make some tacos for dinner!

:wave2:

No they didn't know I was coming.....no appointments for shots....and they called this afternoon and said more were there now! Well, too bad.
I will call next time to make sure before I go.....at least I got a trip to Wal-Mart ;)

The movie was good :teeth: VERY funny!! We're in the mood for Christmas now.

Sherry....take it easy.

What a pain in the neck, Nancy! I am sorry they did that... hopefully next time will be good for you.

Sherry, good luck with your cleaning. I started doing some of that tonight and it wound up with me finding old clothes and trying them on. A lot of them are starting to fit. Some aren't ;)

However I found out I have an issue. I am not sure what the heck to wear to a wedding next month  I thought I had it figured out with this green dress I own, but I looked in the mirror w/o the jacket and something shows  Normally I don't care but this is family  So I have tried on a dress that I got ages ago. It is a tad bit big on me, but it might work. I don't think I could get away with the dress I wore to Dawn's wedding because it is hot pink (kind of out of season with the style too) and it also shows  I have one other dress to try which is downstairs somewhere... I might get lucky with that one. If not I need to go shopping next month *sigh*

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
Oh boy! Elaine gets to go shopping!
:teeth:
:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
Oh boy! Nancy got to go to Walmart!
:teeth:
:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
Oh boy! Sherry is ready for winter! (It is going to be in the 60's all week up here, but she's ready!)
:teeth:
:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
Oh boy! I'm gonna go to try to get some rest. Good night all.
:sunny:

Evening all!

Had a great dinner tonight, and vegemetating at the pc for a little bit before bed.

No leg surgery:mad: , not now anyway. The insurance company wants pictures to make sure it isn't cosmetic surgery and will take 4 to 6 weeks to decide. The bummer part is that my insurance will probably change in three weeks! Grrrr! So, we took pics of the leg to show that it's swollen, but that you can't see the stupid painful vericose vein.

I'm happy-my vanity tag for the carbaby arrived!

No furbabies for now. Ed hates dogs, Neil and I are severely allergic to cats. He did like Bear, though. The first time Ed came to visit me when we started dating, he let himself into the house and Bear indicated he needed to use the outdoor lavatory. Ed let him out and Bear proceeded to roll in the deer poop to mask his scent! After 10 hours in the car, my other half had to give the dog a bath!

Onto some ketchup....

Pixie dust to all who are ill. Normally, I'd be right there with the bronchitis and sinisitus right now, but I'm a healthy girl.

Amanda, stuffy always is better. It's hard to function when you think you're gonna toss cookies.

Nancy, bummer about that shot. At least you got the wal mart run!

Liz, hey girlie! We missed ya around here. Crossing my fingers that the interview nailed the job for ya. If you get the itch to win more money, we got the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino 5 minutes from here. Ed and I haven't ventured in yet, but we will soon. And it's only an hour from WDW!

Bethie, you were supposed to have a relaxing weekend getaway, not one nursing a cold!

John, your socks are probably in the big bucket here with all the kids and hubby's...good luck finding them. The watch is on top of the dryer, you left it in your pants pocket and it went through the wash-next time, get a Timex.

I can't think of any g rated jokes, although my sister who is potty training her son asked him if he left the kiddies at the pool, meaning did he do #2!

Off to bed...said we'd go at a decent hour tonight. Maybe I can convince Ed to get up with Neil in the morning and buy another 45 minutes sleep. Tomorrow is my day to volunteer in Kevin's school library.
