It's just that our teams have stunk lately and had to make a cheap shot..

Worked late last night and got up late & Mandy missed her bus & I took her to school and now have to go back because she forgot her lunch..Hope to get the hair cut today...Place was busy 1st time & closed the 2nd time I went..

Amanda said enough in regards to the raffle tickets..
I was ready to pull Cassie outta preschool after this stunt.. but Amanda coaxed me into keeping her in by saying how much she likes preschool...

Amanda, sleep, you need sleep. Hope you get a break with that soon. I hate school fundraisers. Hope Mandy is feeling better too. Sounds like good news for your brother.

Okay, now that I've had my fun let me ask a real question. Do y'all have armadillos where you live? (My possum on the half shell in the above pic)

They are very common where I grew up, but not nearly as much in central and north Alabama which surprised me. We even had one or two that hung around my college campus; we fed them popcorn, of course.

Honestly Alan, I do not recall ever seeing a real live armadillo in my entire life. If I have, it's been at a zoo. Definitely *not* something you see around here.

I'm also watching a documentary on the American Musical on PBS as I host chat and type this e-mail. I'm a huge theatre buff, and it's hosted by one of my idols--Julie Andrews. It's a great, and they've already shown a couple of my friends on it It's fun seeing my friends on TV.

Suzanne, yes my trip includes some Halloween festivities. I'm going to MNSSHP on Sunday night. And of course, I'll be making trips to my bar.

Evening yayas! Aaack, gotta get off that caps lock!

So, got this really cool thing dropped off at work-A fund raiser for the Make A Wish foundation where you do a ride a thon at WDW...unfortunately, Splash is NOT a choice, but Space Mountain is. What I'm supposed to do (or my store team, as we all want to do this) is get people to pledge money...I then have to ride that ride the specified amount of times in a row. For example, Dumbo is something like 50 times in a row, teacups 10 in a row...gotta find out how many in a row for Space, lol!

Alan, I've seen quite a few of those armadillos lately and only one was living. Three others were road kill on the interstate. My thought when I saw the first one is that I really live in the south now!

Pammy, you missed the point...the gift wrap is supposed to come from Vicky's or Frederick's!

JRKaren, don't forget to try some of the yummies at Epcot. I loved the cheddar crabcakes over by America. I may be over there Friday night to meet up with a former coworker-don't know if that's her Party for the Senses night, though.

Amanda and Todd, been through those day care woes...hang in there.

Elaine, I don't really get to fiddle with the hardware anymore. When you take a computer salesperson and a mainframe operator/programmer, compromise has to happen. I let him do the hardware stuff these days-I'm pretty sure he doesn't have it broadcasting. Although I'm getting annoyed with the lack of installation of the wireless card on my laptop-think that's on the agenda next week. I'll need it when I'm unable to get out of bed after the surgery.

Okay, gotta send the email to my friends at my old store-get some pledges, lol!

We have lots of possums and armadillos around here so I definately know the difference. Except that armadillo looks a little gold. Maybe he is one of those rich city 'dillos.

Hi to all, including the possum. Not so sure about the hijacking thing couldn't that get you 10 to life or something? BaBs and new clothes! woohoo! Mind don't get new clothes, hell the ones they have dont' stay on them anyway. No heat here, had ac on today because the humidity was so high and now it is thunderstorming (and what am I doing? playing on the 'puter! ) Not even cold enough to wear my fall and halloween turtule necks! Love the new pics of everyone and their babies!

Boys are doing well...I'm gonna post new pics as soon as I get a spare moment. Jarrod got his flu shot today, I will get mine tomorrow (thanks to having an infant under 6 months) have to fight the insurance company now about the other shot. If I screwed up his health by being a smoker I'd get the shot in a heart beat .
Gotta go do my questionaire now!! I can't remember the due date, so I'll do it tonight so I don't get behind.

No shelled variety up here I've only seen them at the side of the road in FL.
I usually only see the unshelled ones at the side of the road too, but sometimes at night we see them scurrying by the windows.

Hi Tara.....bye Tara. Glad you got the flu shots.
DH is on the list for one He got a doctors note, so if he sees them offered someplace before his doctor gets them, he can go there.
