Karen, sorry to hear about the car ordeal. What a PITA.
Suzanne, the new shopping center is the St Johns Town Ctr off JTB & St Johns Bluff. It's one of those new shopping center designs where everything is outside. don't know how that's gonna be when it's raining but, we are all excited about the new Cheesecake Factory & PF Changs .
Elaine, Yep sounds like AR conflicts w/House MD. Why is it that the shows I like are always on at the same time?

Congrats on your kids being in the play TC! My little high school certainly did not incorporate live music into the plays, but all we did was a Junior play and a Senior Play, both of which were usually some farce.

Much unlike schools that actually have drama departments now!

I'm sure you have reason to be proud, Papa.

John - keeping you in my thoughts for the surgery - best of luck for the kiddos with the performance.

Karen - sharing your car pain - having to get a new car unexpectedly is rough - I surely wasn't even considering a new car when I had my accident - now I am dealing with car payments for the first time in my life!! (always had old cars that I paid cash for).

Todd, Nancy, JR Karen, Lily, Amanda, Alan and all YaYa's that be!!

My husband's doctors appt went well yesterday - they removed 1 mole and made appts to do 2 more - will biopsy all of them
Christopher went to school today - he says the chest pains were mostly from anxiety - we discussed counselling again but being a teenage boy he is not very receptive...I worry about him alot - he's such a good kid - he does not deal with his ADD very well - he just wants to be like everyone else and when he can't the anxiety levels go up and up.
Alyssa got a financial aid packet from another college - they didn't offer much - and now my husband is complaining about loans......ask me how my anxiety is......
I realized yesterday that I still have my Christmas wreath and plaque ont he front door - we don't use the door so the walkway is all snow still - where is spring??????

Alan, lots of folks are hard to keep up with post count wise. Look at Shep and Merriweather too. Not quite to Elaine's level, but still pretty high.

Rose Mary, enjoy PF Chang's and the Cheesecake Factory nearby. Two of my favorite restaurants.

Ohboyohboyohboy! I heard I have a package waiting for me at home! Got a call that Beth's package arrived for me. Can't wait to get to open it. Wouldn't ya know it. I have a business meeting tonight and won't be home til after 9:00 so must wait in suspense.

I was told that it had the incorrect address on it. How did they figure out where I am? That is amazing!

I am hoping to hear real soon that my package has arrived. Getting kind of worried. I'm figuring any day now.

The play is "Once Upon A Mattress" (based on the story The Princess and The Pea). I think that this must be Carol Burnett's favorite play because she has appeared it in three times (although the most recent version has yet to air). Sarah plays the part of Queen Aggravain, the mother of Prince Dauntless, who does everything that she can to prevent the marriage of her son to Princess Winnifred (or Fred as she likes to be called). If you check back on the CB in a few minutes, I'll try to post a photo of her from dress rehersal.

Yes you did see mention of House MD! I love that show. And I admit I am all for Robert Sean Leonard (he's the cancer specialist that is good friends with House). Fell in love with him years ago in Dead Poet's Society!
