Paula, we woke up to the same weather you are having! Blech! Hope that you get things settled down. Never fun to have the house in an uproar. That will be me this weekend! I can hardly wait! Argh! Just noticed the time...time to get ready for the big hair event!! I will be back later....but I gotta get the house cleaned at some point!! My interview scheduled for tomorrow has been nixed!! I am a bit peeved about that! I got a call last night to do a prelim phone interview.....teh guy asked me a million questions....then said, "Oh, you have a liberal arts degree, well you need to have a business degree to interview for the job. And quite frankly, we did not get the response we had hoped to so it just isn't worth it for us to come and interview!" What the heck is up with that! I found that to be just a tad bit...OK A LOT rude! So that takes care of that interview!! Guess I really didn't want to work there after that! But what I did find funny was how I was told that customer service is VERY important to them...yeah right!

Vet went well.....yes, Taffy hates it too. But we were first, so only took about 5 minutes.

Well they fixed the issues with the software so I can do what I need to do today. Stinks when all I can do is wait. They just needed to add something into the database, so once they figured out what was causing the root problem, all was good

Todd my cough seems to be getting a little better and I do feel the tinest smidge better today--I have a little more energy. Anyway Im hoping its finally on the way out. Maybe you and I will actually feel better by our June trips

Been very busy at work. It appears that corporate is going to limit casual internet access starting sometime early next week. So no more DISing from my desk. Maybe if I reformat and reload.

Total EIOP post. We're off to WDW in 3 weeks with the high school marching band. They are going to perform at the Magic Kingdom on April Fool's Day. Sue and I are riding down on one of the band buses. I can hardly wait. You don't suppose that the crowds will be bad on the week after Easter, do you?

I celebrated the anniversary of my broken ankle a few days ago. I have the same persistant cough that seems to be running rampant her on the Ya Ya thread. My advice is to buy stock in Robitussin. I am on my 2nd or 3rd bottle of the stuff. It mixes good with vodka.

The big news in my life is that there is a slight possibility that I have a somewhat rare form of oral cancer. I haven't said much on the DIS about it because I don't know whether or not the tumor that they removed in February is benign or not. The thing is that the pathologists who looked at it can't decide either, so I have to see an Ear/Nose/Throat specialist on Monday so that he can decide how much more tissue to excise in order to ensure that all the bad stuff is removed. Sounds like fun. My son put it well when he said that I had a "heck" of a year (only he used a word that a 17yo teenager would use in place of heck). So here I sit trying to decide just how I feel about polymorphous low grade adenocarcinomas. (If you say it loud enough you'll earn a new diploma). I keep coming back to the old joke:

"Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"

So in a nutshell, that's how I've been. Just trying to enjoy the play.
