Was quite busy yesterday. DH finally put up the Mickey and Minnie pics he bought. Then, I had work to complete. Took me til 1 in the a.m.! I'm a bit tired, but not too bad. We went to the gym late and DS2 was there as well. Met a friend of DS#1 there. It was nice to visit with him as we haven't talked with him for quite some time.

Evening, all...I'm missing the perfect days outside lately. Bummer!

Love my coworkers, they make the long week go so much easier, woohoo! I'm blessed to have fun at work, that's for sure.

Ed went by today, and they cleaned up the floors from the spackling. They did a bit of sanding, too. Just holding my breath, because we need to be out of the rental by 4/30.

Bethie, fess up...there are more than a few of us shopping at BaB, lol! they left the windows and sliders open when the drywall was curing.

Lainey, hope tomorrow isn't so busy. Know what you mean. Sometimes I'm tired and read but don't reply.

Karen, do what makes you happy and healthy-the money issues always seem to hang around, lol.

Okay, did some research online last night about the leg issues. Wanted to see who/what did the surgery I will need down the road. Heard about post phlebits syndrome and read up on it. Yep, I have it. The bummer part is that this swelling in my leg started a year ago-and had I know that this was PPS, I could have gone to the vascular surgeon then to nip my issues in the bud.

From what I'm reading, I've gotta be careful on a few fronts. Thought I'd be joining Curves as soon as the doc says okay-but it looks like any impact exersize is out. The upside of this research is that I now have a lot of questions for my doctor, and he's been a doll about answering anything.

Long day ahead of me tomorrow. Training those new guys, and I prefer to do that when I don't have to wear a few hats-they deserve undivided attention.

Good Morning All,

Went to sleep way too early last night thats why Im up this early lol.

Thank you for all your support with my job decision. I think it's the right choice for me.

Suzanne you are right money issues are always gonna be there no matter how much or little one makes. We are working on a budget and will stick to it. Who knows maybe this will be good for us in the long run and teach dh and I and the kids a few things. Im looking at it as a positive not a negative. I know what you mean about your coworkers. Thats the way I feel about my new ones too. The day seems to zoom by now. Im sorry about the stuff with your leg. Im glad though that you now have questions for your doc and maybe they can do something else to help you with it.

Lily, sounds like you've been very busy!!! That was a long time to stay up for work too! I must say I admire you for being able to go to the gym... I always wuss out. At least I got on my bike for the first time in months!

Suzanne, I do hope you'll be able to get into your new home very soon! That sadly seems to be an all too common issue around here. Good luck with the leg stuff too... hopefully your doc can help out more with it.

We've come to the observation that money issues are just always there too. No matter the income, we want more and of course we think we NEED it too!
We observe the rich and famous, they spend their share as much as we spend ours, they just have more. (I still wish I had more always) Sigh.

Maybe if she got up onstage and did the Pete's Dueling Piano Bar version of the Hokey Pokey (where you had to put things in that you wouldn't do at your kids party), or Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes (where you touched things you wouldn't have them do at your kids party).

Drats! Foiled again! I'll get this dance thing figured out yet!

HI everyone!!

Woke up to rain this morning but of course it's going to turn to snow this afternoon. Alyssa decided it was spring and wore flip-flops to school -crazy kid!! She also went tanning for the first time yesterday - pre-prom planning!Christopher had a bad day yesterday - anxiety level seems to be very high again - I'm going to try to talk to him today.
Yesterday was not a good day for me - one of those "I hate everything about myself days" - I think being housebound is getting to me. I have an appt with the chiropractor today so that will get me out for a bit this afternoon.

and now - my ketchup....

Pam - how sweet that you drove to Baskin Robbins for your dad's cake - my dad will be 79 on the 22nd of this month.

Well, after a wonderful spring weather day yesterday (we hit 65º!)it rained all night, temps are dropping rapidly and the rain I saw out the window, as I was putting my coat on to come to work, turned to snow by the time I got to the car!! Traffic is horrendous and we had near white-out conditions out here by Dulles airport. I love March.......... I, too, will admit to being ready for spring!!

Hey, Rose Mary got a package!!!! Can't wait to hear all about it--Sherry sends GOOD stuff!!!!

Sorry about the software issue, Laine. What a PITA! Hope it gets cleared up quickly.

Deena, you have every right to be skeered of the trouble you would get into, should you ever meet Liz. She is a baaaaaaaad influence and has a mischevious streak a mile wide!!!

Sounds like we have the same hair, Paula!! My blonde went mousey, too. I lived with it for a long time, rather enjoying the silver hair that started to mix in. But it just got so dull and lifeless looking that I succombed to vanity. Took a good 2-3 years before I found someone who could make it look brighter, but still natural--it kept coming out brassy or with too much red in it. My other problem is I love change and went with the super short hair for about 3 years. Tired of it and am just gritting my teeth waiting for it to grow out!
