Well, my MIL & one of my SIL & BIL's brought Jordan cards and money. Only 5 days later. I guess I should be happy they remembered, but I'm still ticked they couldn't at least call and say they would give him his card at church.

Bethie, I am over the sea legs finally, but it was weird at first. I really felt myself leaning funny for a while. Not that it would keep me from doing it again

Stacy, I honestly just was too cheap to get enough alcohol in me to get really drunk. If I couldn't do it on $5, it wasn't worth it to me (and no I didn't bar hop much ever). Now my husband was the good one. He is the only one of us who drinks now, but nothing bad at all. He's never been really buzzed badly or done anything illegal at all. At least one of us was good

Kristy I've been there... and I know how very painful that is... we're here to listen and if you want to talk more, feel free to PM... I can't tell you how hard I cried when a few were let go here

Suzanne, we have been trying to find one of the Mattel Mary Poppins dolls with no luck. The ones on Ebay are going for more than I want to pay right now.

My youngest is on a Mary Poppins kick right now and we watch it quite a bit. Of course, that isn't a problem since it is one of my favorites also.

In fact, Mrs. AA was reading the book to me while I drove this weekend since I have never read any of the Mary Poppins stories. We haven't finished yet but it's interesting to hear details of some of the cameo characters from the park in the movie

actually I do get up at 6 am and make ds & dh's lunches and to make sure ds is up and off to the bus stop by 630am
but I usually get a chance when dh leaves at 7:15am to get a quick nap unless I am wide awake, then there is no use.

I have been so busy and confused with this homebuying business...can I ask everyone...is it REALLY necessary to hire a buyer's broker? I have been taking the state's requred salesperson class (a requisite for the licensing exam) to help me understand all this and maybe get my license to help me with my own future development plans. We already have a loan officer who's arranging the financing for this our first home. I'm pretty well-versed in the neighborhoods around here. DO I REALLY NEED TO SIGN ON WITH ONE? Has anyone gone it alone? Thank ya!

Well, I'd post more except that for this real estate thing my life is the usual ho-hum.

Was it Jordan's Birthday? Oh happy belated! He's the oldest! Julian is the youngest and the other two are twins! (Just have to remind myself occasionally. ) Oh Sherry, they're growing up so fast!

Boo--one of my best friends is a realtor so here is what I know by hearing her talk (and gripe) about it. If you use the sellers person then that person gets all the commission, if you have your own then they each get a commission but the same amount of commission is still going out. You can always ask the agent if they will reduce their amount, usually by 1%.

Boo... not sure if it is a state to state thing, but here you do not need to hire someone. We used our friend from church as our real estate agent and he helped lead us to a good loan person as well as insurance. But we bought a FSBO, and they didn't use anyone at all. It was just them and us

Stacy, they really look a lot alike!!! They could pass for siblings. And don't worry the size was good. As for needing a life... you do more than I do in the morning. I just haul myself into work

Now as for Alan and Jeannie with that shower talk!!!!! Shame on y'all!!!! I would say more, but I would get myself into trouble so I'll hush

Cassidy is my dh's niece and Damien is my son from a previous marraige that dh adopted a year after We got married... and EVERYONE even family tells me how much my ds & dh look alike. so now everyone at dh's party told me how much Damien and Cassidy look alike..just like you, they say they can pass for siblings.. I guess it's fate!!

Hi all,

This is gonna be an EOIP. Im getting myself ready to go for my sleep study. I don't mind telling ya'll that Im scared. Of what I don't know. I guess it's being trapped up in all those wires all night long. I also hate being away from my family. My youngest is not going to do well with me gone. He has been upset with me being away for amy amount of time since I ended up in the hospital last year. He does fine with school and aftercare but if he is home he expects me to be home too. Thankfully I have been exhausted all day....enough so that I almost fell asleep at my desk several times.....so I should hopefully be able to go to sleep fairly easily tonight. Please say a couple of calming prayers for me okay?

Gotta finish getting ready. See ya'll in the morning.
