Liz Im so sorry to hear about Aunt Helen. You all will be in my prayers and thoughts. You know Jammies would be a really good gift. I love jammies too. Im a total jammie person when Im not at work. I come home and put them on and I just feel like then I can relax. I think a nice pair for Aunt Helen might make her feel special and comfortable, and cozy. I think you had a great idea!! Maybe send a nice book with the jammies. Something for her to just relax out with and read. The Chicken Soup books are GREAT. Lotions are iffy with older skin because of allergies and frail skin. I deal a lot with the elderly and they have to be careful what they put on. Most use like Vaseline Intensive Care and stuff like that rather than the scented lotions because their skin gets very dry and breaks open easily and the scented lotions can irritate that.

Rug for room and tables. :)

Caroline, we just went to the same apartment to check on some things that we might have missed the first time.....to check what Christin HAS to have. And take a couple measurements. And let Dave see it.

Well, the weather looked great.....cold but dry, but while were in the movie theater it started to snow.....now sleet. Christin is out. No sleep here tongiht until she gets home :(
I am supposed to go out with a friend tomorrow.....our every other month thing....and this month is to celebrate both out birthdays. Might have to cancel depending on what happens over night. :( I hate winter!!
But eating ice cream in the cold doesn't bother me ;)

Beth glad you get a day to relax.
Elaine....bathing suits.....not me!! Don't even look anymore.

Opps, sorry if I missed something, but I got to go.
See ya later.

It's the drugs and alcohol talking again, JRKaren. :earseek: Poor dear, we try to be supportive and play along with whatever she says.... it isn't always easy, though......

I know it's not easy dealing with Liz's delusions sometimes. Poor thing. But she's our Liz.

Ahem - I don't recall having that Lexus I had delivered to your house returned to me. You know - that nice shiny silver car with the BIG red bow - just like on the TV commercials!

The Lexus never made it to my house. Maybe you accidentally sent it to Kimmie's since she has had so many birthdays this year.

And - (it appears that I am on a roll, now!) When you started walking toward the subway eating your ice cream it was 30º and in the next sentence it is now 40º! Just what flavor was that ice cream cone - Vodka Venus Delight, Jack Daniel's Dimples or Schooner's Scotch Smoothie??????

It was Boston Cream ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery--it was vanilla ice cream with cake, fudge sauce, and whipped cream. Yum.

(Don't mind me - I had miffed at DH and have been since last night and I need to take my aggressions out on someone. ;))

We always mind you, Pam, but we put up with you anyways.

Liz, sorry about your aunt :( I hope that they can make her comfortable in the hospice.

The mass and dinner for my mom went well. Two of my aunts broke down when they were singing the Prayer of St. Francis at mass. Dinner was yummy. I had chicken parm. The sauce was awesome--nice and garlicy.

Later.

Pin meet! What pin meet? I checked meet thread and didn't see any reference.
:earseek:

It was the usual Pin Meet at the Palace Theater in Lorain. You recall. The one that you so kindly drove me to last year. I only found out about it because I asked EpcotKilterFan (Debbie) when the next meet there was being held. Sorry for the short notice. I was able to say hi to Sherry, Junior, and the boys. I got her ornaments delivered. I also had a package of stuff for Debbie. As Sue and I were leaving, we asked John if we could see his office. As you recall, he gave a tour last year, but I was hesitant to walk up the stairs with an aircast on my leg. All I can say is "wow". He has a lot of neat Disneyana things all over his office. After we left, Sue said "I recognize that guy". It turns out that he just happened to be at WDW on December 9th and we bumped into him at the hot cocoa and cookie station during MVMCP.

I didn't have anything to trade, but Sue and I had a great time regardless.

Next time I'll give you a little more advance warning Lily. I promise.

Me again :teeth: I adore my husband. He went to Wendy's for me and also got me chocolate chip ice cream from the grocery store :rockband:
Then after I was done eating he played monopoly with me  He's definitely my soulmate

Liz so sorry to hear about Greg's aunt. Does she have favorite foods or snacks? When my great grandmothers were still alive and in their last days I can remember my mom and aunts getting them their favorite treats. Like Granny Clayton loved sugar wafers. Granny Dunman loved fig newtons. Little stuff like that just seemed to make them light up. Her favorite treat is probably going to be just seeing Greg there.

Nancy yay on finding the table and rug. Can't wait to see pics of the room once you have it all set up.

JRKaren glad to hear that the memorial for your mom went well. I'm sure it was heartwarming to celebrate her life.

 Sherry and TC glad to hear you enjoyed the pinmeet.

JRKaren Im glad things went well with the ceremony and dinner tonight. That prayer was my mother's favorite also. In fact my middle name is because of that prayer.

Awwwww Kristy what a sweet dh you have. How are you feeling now? Sounds like you are coming down with something kiddo. I pray it will be short lived for you.

We're back... we went and found me a bathing suit, sarong and matching shoes. It's a bit odd, the style... especially being asymetrical, but it's cute and flattering (and it fit!!!!!) THe style is below

but it's this coloring :)

Liz, I am so sorry that Greg is being stubborn. I would actually suggest maybe getting her one of those soft "track suits" They are as cozy as PJs, but they are "dressier" so she can be cozy and "dressed" while visiting with family & friends.

Karen, there is a reason why I don't drink any sodas anymore... they are just extremely costly after a while. Water works, and if not, Kool-aid is fine too :p

Sherry, I am so glad that you got your ornaments! They are cute!!!!

JRKaren, I had some ice cream today too, so I don't think you are nuts. I admit though, that song gets to me every time I hear/sing it!

John, glad you had fun at the meet!

Awww... how sweet Kristy!

My goodness! Ya'll are the chattiest bunch I ever did see!! I gotta ketchup. Makes me cranky when I can't ketchup. I tried to ketchup yesterday, but Elaine sent me back into Time Out. I swear I didn't do anything!!

...and what's this about Pam sending me a Lexus!? First she hooks me up as the resident massage therapist for my honey and now this?!? Pam... I think I love you!

I see new cabana honeys roaming about! Was that John Travolta and Will Smith I just saw in the hot tub?!

I saw beautiful table pics posted by Suzanne! Cute little boys sitting at that beautiful table too!! Oooh, and cute little YaYa pics too!

Mandy has had strep for two weeks and the first dr didn't catch it?!?!? Oooh what a complete dimwit!!! Ack! Cheetos!!!! Sheeesh!

Well wishes and speedy recovery thoughts to Mrs. AA!!

Kristy, how are you feeling now?

Me? A baaaad YaYa?! Heh heh heh. :cheer2: Massage therapy training must be paying off. Mwahahahaha!

Susie makes quilts?! Could we see pics of some of your work someday Susie?

Liz, Prayers and thoughts headed to Greg, Randy and Aunt Helen. I hope the visit goes well. I'm sure seeing them again will bring her so much joy. Your jammie idea is a wonderful one. Goodies are fun too!

I was with you Sherry... I didn't know what Penzey's was either.

JRKaren, a hug to you. I'm glad to hear the mass for your mother went well. You were mentioned in a JellyRolls article?!

Cappucino lollipops?! OOooooh! Sees?

Yucky!?! YUCKY!! Did I see right?! Did Elaine call my beautiful avatar YUCKY!? Well, I nevah! Hmph!

Hey Caroline?! Get all of the pictures back yet?! Hurting wrists? Uh oh. Not good! Take it easy on them. Would a brace help?

Nancy, I hope the weather cooperates and your birthday day out tomorrow works out! Or was it today? Ack! How embarrassing! Getting my days mixed up! I just read 10 YaYa pages... my eyes and brain are spinning around in little circles!

Another YaYa meet in the making?! Ya'll are awesome! So where will the Nancy YaYa meet take place?! :bounce:

Tara, Rick's memorial service sounded as though it was a very special time for all that loved him. My heart goes out to all of you and my prayers are still with you.

Welcome home to Lily!! Hey to Stacy! Hugs to Bethie! I just saw part of the new Battlestar Galactica the other day. Shows ya how dippy I am. I didn't realize there WAS a new one. How was your unscheduled day today? A happy and relaxing one I hope!

Elaine is swimsuit shopping? Ack! Hate those things. They're evil.

Karen, you're a sweetie. Thank you so much! A homeschool store?! Oh my! I would love to putter around in there!! If I ever have trouble locating anything, I know who to call. Thank you! Glad to hear you're finished with the Prednisone! Wahoo!!

...and Pammypoo! What? Me?! Start what? Not me. The YaYas said I couldn't have any more birthdays. The party poopers.

Am I done? Hey!! I think I'm done! I know I forgot nine hundred YaYas, but I plead... uh... well, I just came out of Time Out, or was it Olympic massage therapy training class? At any rate, I can't think straight, so have mercy on me...

Oh! Elaine sneated! Beautiful suit! Love the color! Mine is... well, different pattern, but some of the same colors.

Elaine I love the suit design and color!! Congrats on finding on you like.
Thanks Karen
Kimmie...still feeling yucky.

Well...the dayquil I took earlier has made me jittery but my "male nurse(dh)" wants me to rest in bed and try to go to sleep.
See y'all tomorrow.

Betty Sketti!!!!!!!!! How are you? Where have you been hiding? How are things with you?

Oh go figure, I get a suit similar in color to Kimmies  And yes, I called your avatar YUCKY!!!!!

:love2:

Kristy, rest well and feel better soon!

Howdy Betty! Good to see ya!

Hi Liz and Elaine.

Just hanging around by myself in the house. DH is at college with DS for Dad's Weekend and DD is on a date with BF....It is really getting cold here. How are things with you two?

Elaine I love the bathing suit. It will look good with your coloring!!!

Enjoy the quiet for a while :) It got really cold here as well, but not too bad (only needed a sweatshirt earlier... but compared to the nearly 70, it is cold).

Save the shopping (ty for the compliment btw) not doing too much here. i should be downstairs working on something for church, but my down comforter won ;) I'll do it before we go :)

hasn't this been just the craziest winter? I can't believe that it was 70 on Wednesday and close to 65 on Thursday and now 24.....Hey can I borrow the down comforter? DD is home and she and the bf are in the basement now. Guess I need to walk around and make some noise every once in a while. LOL

Betty, we had 64 on Weds & 69 on Thursday... now we won't be above 30 for a while. I just checked weather in Mexico... cannot wait to go there!

Calling it a night. See y'all later :)

Kristy--Hope you feel better soon..

Question, is there a full list somewhere with the Real Names of the YaYas to go along with their Posting Names??? I seem to keep getting mixed up.

Are there 3 Karens here???
