Too funny! That is what my mom used to do when we would go to California to see our father during the summer. We always knew when we came home that there would be bags of "trash" waiting for the trash man!! Tho we didn't usually miss too much of what was gone. I think it was therapy for mom while we were 3,000 miles from home!

Jeannie, hope they find your car and catch the turds that did it. Sometimes people just amaze me.

I have been at TDS for 5 and 1/2 years now and I completely understand the frustration with the product line. I too miss all the old stuff and I don't buy much anymore for my son, because I'm not very much into Buzz (and he doesn't care yet) and I don't like the Adventurer stuff for my son because they look mean.

It was funny because a guest was in last night and was telling me how dissappointed she was in the selection. I was agreeing with her when she pointed her finger at me and said, "YOU got rid of all the stuff I like!" I laughed and said don't look at me, I didn't do it!! I know she meant YOU as the Walt Disney Company, but I did like the idea that I could weild that much power over one company. Now if I could just do that in my real life, life would be good.

glad to hear that after 2 kids things get better. Now I just have to work up the nerve for baby #2!! hehehe

It's been quiet for 2 minutes while I type, I think I need to go check on my youngin' to make sure there are no disasters awaiting me!!

Rosemary, the only thing I warn you of....is don't throw out his favorite pillow or stuff animal ...or whatever he played with in early life. Derek's mom threw out his pillow while he was in basic training and the poor woman has NEVER lived it down. He reminds her of it all the time. She threw out his favorite stuffed rabbit too. Don't want you getting razzed like he does his mom. I razz my mom b/c she threw out the mobile that I had over my crib as a baby. Good thing I have my baby blanket in safe keeping!!!

Jeannie, I would probably cease to function w/o my car. I understand what you mean about it though. You do have me thinking that I ought to go through and photocopy my cards and keep them in a safe place at home so if anything happens to my purse or otherwise, I know who I need to contact.

Tara, I am gald I am not the only one frustrated. I am even frustrated with the lack of selection from the catalog. The adults are the ones to spend the money and I am sure they lost business when people like me couldn't find anything at the store, as well as anyone without a girl aged 2-10 or so. I admit I was there last time and they had a Tink towel I wanted though. Boy I do wish you had some power there!!! Think of the things you could do!!

Kristy, that is absolutely terrible what his mom did!!! I would be upset if mine did too. I guess I am glad that my mom & dad were pack rats

Lizzie...well its was really only 12:30 here. I went out to eat with my best friend. We stayed at the resturant til they closed, then moved outside to talk, lol. It was the first time in a long time we got to eat w/out kids so we could talk about whatever.
Elaine--I dont remember seeing Von on the list but I think she got skeerd off by the nekkid dance too (only hers wasnt really nekkid cause "those who shall not be named" wanted her to wrap up in veal, lol.
I have to say to everyone I love the yaya's. Everyone has made me feel at home since day 1 and I'm happy to be a yaya.
Kimmar--dr couldnt say he had colitis or one of those related problems?? Im so glad he got a clean bill from cancer, that is awesome.
Jeannie--Im still mad and sad about your car. I have tons of personal stuff in my car. Plus I get very attatched to my house and car. Nobody better be touchin my baby. Lest some severe bodily harm come to them.
Tara--its so cool to see no matter how many kids you they are each so different. SO far my easiest going 2 are #1 & #4. The middle 2 are high maintenance, lol.

As said, you are allowed your own two cabana boys... some are a little "possesive" (Kimmie) of theirs, but there seems to be a ton out there left to choose from. I do believe Jeannie is up to date on all the men that we have "housed" here.

Von, so glad to see you back. Are you feeling better? Trip to the ER wasn't any fun I'm sure. Sorry there weren't any good lookin' young interns to help make you feel better! Figures,huh?!

Not to worry about me getting rid of too much of DS stuff. I am a terrible pack rat myself. He is 11 and I have like 4 boxes of stuff I'm saving for him He has his security pillow and security blanket with him at his grandma's, LOL. Oh funny, grandma went to change wash his pillowcase and saw what a mess his pillow was in. She tried to give him one of her "newer" pillows. He wasn't havin' any of that! Made her at least save his "old" pillow to take home.

I'm procrastinating! Back to work!
