Beast--there is a MVMCP ont he 4th. I know Elaine said it was kinda early for her to plan but Im a planning nut so I had to start investigating, lol.
Lizzie--OMG it sounds like we have the same kids, lol. My 3 year old will be good while shopping but Connor, my 1 yr old wont sit in the basket either. I have had that little blet so tight it looked like he couldnt breath and the rascal slithers up and out of it anyway. now I usually have to stick him in the deep end in the back. I normally do go grocery shopping with both since dh doesnt get home til late and I hate to grocery shop on the weekend.
Rose--even if you have been there that long, if your not happy then a new job is for you. Get one that makes you the happiest.

Well, got good news and bad(?) news. The doctor said it DEFINITELY was not C-----!! (thanks for all your prayers!!) But, he DOESN'T know what is wrong, so now my hubby has to get an MRI (or is it CAT scan...the one where you have to drink that white chalky liquid before you go) We were ALL pretty scared because of the 35-lb weight loss.....(gee, now if I could lose 35 lbs!!!!!)

on what it is and treat him so he feels better. I'm sure just knowing it's not the Big C is a tremendous relief!

Beast I like my Dec 4 MUCH better than your Dec 2004!! Thats way to far off. But I would like to hit that one too, lol. If you happen to see stroy on the news about a Texas woman choking her x til his eyes popped out--it will be me. He made me so mad today but then again it wasnt the first tims and def wont be the last.
Going out to eat tonight with one of my best friends. Dh going to stay home and watch kiddies. He used to want to go with us til one night we spent over 3 hours in Red Lobster. Poor dh was asking can we go now??? lol So now he lets us go alone

You guys crack me up! The word is CANCER. And it's not always a death sentence. But! I am also glad to hear that it's not Cancer. I'm not picking on any one or making fun of a terrifying disease but for those that are new, "been there, done that". (I know it's cliche, but....)

Now, some well tested advice on drinking CONTRAST FLUID for a CT Scan. Just chug it! I'm serious. I've seen people try to sip this stuff and that's just torture. It's best to just get the stuff down. Also be aware that this stuff often acts as a laxitive. So hopefully the scan won't last too long OR he'll have a clear shot at the restroom afterward. It doesn't effect everyone that way....but.....(no point in taking any chances).

You know, there really needs to be something like a Excel file on those who frequent this thread to keep screen names, real names, kids, ages, etc. on track for those of us who are more visual than linear. Just a thought.

Mark, many are afraid of cancer and I guess I am sort of glad that most write it out as the "C" word... makes it easier for me at least... and dont' think I am attacking, I am just somewhat glad that I don't have to see that word because even almost 10 years later I am still affected by it in a bad way. I am just glad that you survived

I could use the excel for kids names and ages... I do terrible with those, but I do fine with real nams

...funny, but the nurse at the Hackensack Imaging Center said that you DON'T have to drink it right down, that it's better to drink a little at a time, cuz' it makes some people GAG. Also, my DB-in-L talked about the OTHER part [the running to the bathroom! ] and I don't think my DH believes him. He said the same thing about the Fleet's Phospho Soda that my DH had to drink, with the same results, but my hubby didn't "go" ALL NIGHT!!

Oh dear Kimmar....you just reminded me of something from the honeymoon. Since we were on the 7th floor of the WL, Derek would go around to the middle....look down....and then yell at the top of his lungs "YEEEEHAW"......my face was red and the poor CM's didn't know what to think......even after his 4th or 5th day of doing this little ritual. My husband......pure boy through and through.

Yah......I don't like to spell the C out either. Especially when I still have to go in for surgery sometime this fall to have a mass removed. Just praying the doc's are right and that it's a lymph node.

We're going to watch our wedding video now. Can't wait to see how it all turned out

I have to meet the girl I am replacing in the morning to go over her job because her last day is Monday and I don't actually start for another 2 weeks.

I'm back to join the ruckus!! I had to work at the Disney Store tonight!! Don't forget to stop by and pick up all the goodies you will need for stocking stuffers for next christmas!! Also, the sand chairs are $3.49 right now, don't want to miss those bad boys.

Lizzie-glad I gave you a good laugh, I'm sure that my son would have hated me if he had to live with that one! He is now Jarrod but we call him Jar and when he was a little baby and he had a pacifier we called him Jar Jar Binky!

Everyone with multiple kids scare me because I sometimes go nuts with just one. We did okay in the grocery store so it was a nice change of pace. He is in preschool during the day while I work and this summer I'm in grad school mon-thurs so we have fridays to hang out and drive eacher mad!! He will be soooooo ready to go back to school on monday he will beat me out the door.

Congratualtions Beth, I have not had a chance to resign either so I don't know how that feels (but my ex could tell you lots about that!), but I'm sure you will do fine telling them to take a hike!!
