Thank You! It was a wonderful trip. For the first time in 5 1/2 months I didn't need to wear a coat, hat or gloves. It was capri's and sandals everyday and swimming every night and I loved it.
I couldn't of picked a better week. You were all in my thoughts as I was swimming in the volcano pool while the snow was flying.
We came home to some wonderful news. 6 years ago my MIL sold her home in the town we were both born in. It was a custom built home that my DH and his Dad and brothers built. One of our DD had put her house on the market before we left. It sold in one day. They now had to find a house quickly. She was disappointed before we left they had put a bid on a home and they did not get the house. Things happen for a reason. While we were in Florida she purchased my DH families home.
Oh yes! the SIL had us shoveled out. As soon as this white ---- is gone maybe they can get the garden tilled. It's been a very long winter but a little sun and fun sure helped. It's now time to Think Spring! All this rain and snow only means one thing, NO Drought!
The volcano pool? Were you staying at the Polynesian, Mamu? I'm glad you were able to escape the snow storm, and that you enjoyed such perfect weather!
That is so cool about your DD keeping the family home, well...in the family!! Is the town close by?
You're right about the rain and snow. We really needed a wet winter, the farmers have been having a terrible time with drought for the last couple of years. For that reason, and that reason ONLY (lol), I wouldn't mind a bit more snow!
