Weird Facts About Your PETS

"Sunday afternoon it was a tradition to have a coctail and some snacks on the porch. This silly parakeet would fly over and sit on the edge of my Dad's glass of gin and tonic and drink"

Maybe he thought it was a "cockatiel" party. Bwhaaaaa!

Our Bichon puppy, Beanie, eats my husband's ear plugs. Always interesting to spot a bright orange sponge in her poop. (DH is still leaving the darned things on his night stand. It drives me crazy.)

Our 3 year old Bichon, Otto, goes on our south-facing patio on the hottest days and sunbathes. After quite a long time, he comes back in the house looking like heck and drinks a ton of water. We think doing this repeatedly may have caused some brain damage. ;)

Our Bichon, Heinie, who died last year (sniff) loved to go for a drive. He'd sit in the passenger seat, on his butt with both legs out in front of him, and his paws on the door and looked out the window. Other drivers would see him sitting there like a human and would crack up.

<SIZE=3>Harry Kitty, my long hair Siamese/Himalayan cat hates to get brushed. He has practically chewed the handle off his brush. If I don't put the brush in the drawer or in the cupboard, he grabs it and hides it. Thanks go to my DD for getting me this little devil!</SIZE>

My cat, Tiger, is obsessed with rubberbands. Any rubberband that ends up on the floor, she just pounces on and keeps in her "stash" with the rest of them. The funny thing is that we NEVER see her move them and her secret hiding place for all of them is her food bowl! Somehow she manages to eat with a pile of rubberbands in her food. I always like to take them all out and put them in diiferent places around the apartment-- and it never fails . . . . the next time I look, they are all back in her bowl.

My college roommate had a cat that did something like that. Bailey liked to play with ponytail holders and little furry mice, and her storage place was her water bowl. It drove my roommate crazy! Those mice would get so gross after being in the water.

It was always so funny watching the battle of wills. Jess would take everything out of the bowl and spread it out around the house, and Baiiey would find all of them in day or two and put them right back in.

My almost 2 year old yellow lab Toby (Jan/cape & my dog) must sleep on a plain floor. we have put down blankets and dog pillows for him to make it comfortable but we wake up in the morning to find them all torn to shreds and the dog laying next to them

He also loves to chace the bunnies in our back yard, he will sit at the window anxiously to see if we will let him out to go play with them....

Max our cat loves to suck on ears  he mainly does it to dh. He tries it with me and I say no and he just lays on me and purrs  He also hates 99.9% of people. He is scared of them. He is the biggest of our 3 cats and yet the biggest fraidy cat. It's funny.

Max and Pepper love sleeping on Joey's top bunk. I've yet to figure how thye get up there. Joey swears he's seen Pepper jump from his TV (which is like 10'+ away) but I dunno....

They are all VERY picky about their food. None of them will use the outside (on their leashes/cat run) and will scratch the door, use the litter box and go back out...

Milo and Max love to lay on their back and grab your feet as you walk by.... Pepper hides under blankets and hides... I still think thats funny. She is as happy as a clam....
