weird bug bite

we were having a bbq outside and i got a bug bite. it turned red first but now its black and blue!! is this normal? my big bites have never turned black and blue!

I bruise easily and have had that happen to me before. Not sure if you have a bruise or if it is something else.

that happens to me when I get bit by a horse fly. It is the only bite that will make me bruise.

I think you got bit by super-fly. Before long you're gonna grow wings and start tasting with your feet instead of your tongue. EWWWWWWW!!!!!

I'd watch it and make sure it doesn't get worse. It might be a spider bite.

The bite could've been close to or on top of a vein. I'd watch it closely.

Sounds like a spider bite to me also. Definitely keep an eye on it. Some spider bites can turn real nasty. A friend of mine is being treated for a Brown Recluse Spider bite now. He's the third friend/family member (in 3 different states) who has been bit by one of these supposedly "reclusive" creatures.
