This is not a Disney wedding question, but I'm hoping you all can provide me some advice :)

I'm the matron of honor for a friend's wedding in March. The wedding is indoors, but part of the reception may be outdoors on a paved surface. She has a couple of friends acting as volunteer wedding coordinators for setting up the venue, but I'll be the one who is with her getting ready for the big day. I wanted to volunteer to bring a wedding/bride "emergency" kit for her to help ease her stress a bit.

Does anyone have tips on what items I should put in this wedding/bridal emergency kit? I'm thinking something along the lines of the "tool belt" that Jennifer Lopez's character had in the movie "The Wedding Planner" to help deal with last minute problems like stains, snags in fabric, etc. So far I'm thinking double sided tape, a small sewing kit, bandaids, safety pins, hair clips/bobby pins, a Tide stain pen or those little stain removing wipes, mints, extra deodorant. Other ideas would be much appreciated!

Sunscreen! You can even get a kind that sprays on over makeup so you can reapply without removing or smearing it. Oh, also Band-Aid blister blockers, though if she has them on already she won't need them later.

What sunscreen can you apply over makeup?

My only suggestion re bandaids....is make sure you know your friend well...

If I've been bitten by a mozzie and my histamine response is up I become sensitive to the adhesive in bandaids. I also couldn't use any "average" double sided tape on my skin without getting a rash hence having beaded straps. Even the stay up hosiery I can occasionally get a rash if it's hot...

So just make sure you know how your friend's skin reacts and have a pack according to her needs. Which reminds me I need to go buy my special sensitive skin bandaids :D They're the best! (Because I don't know if Elastoplast is sold in the USA)

Don't forget a powerbar or some other smallish snack she can eat in the morning. Also a smallish bag you could be responsible for to hold her cell phone/ wallet/ other little knick knacks we all keep with us. My bridesmaids were great at remembering to bring my keys & things because I (obviously) didn't have a place to carry them day of! Small portable makeup remover wipes or tissues are also good for any smudges or runny mascara. Back up make up in general is a good idea if you think she might cry and will want to touch up before the reception. Also a water bottle so she can stay hydrated in all the crazyness in the morning. In fact, make sure everyone in the party eats and drinks before the ceremony (one of our groomsmen actually did pass out during our ceremony because he hadn't had time to eat/drink that morning lol!).

I was in 3 weddings last year and had my own! So I'm very experienced.

What I had in my emergency box that was helpful was a small container of baby powder. It was a hot day for my sisters wedding and we added some in our shoes so our feet wouldn't get to sweaty and blistered.

At my friends wedding I had safety pins that came in handy to pin the bounteirre on the father because it was so heavy.
Brides mother thought I was wonderful with my box. Someone would ask for something and i would have it.

Here are some other things we used:
Extra hair ties, mints, Bobby pins, that's all I can think of!

I brought things in a large tote so it was easy to spot and everyone knew I had the emergency kit!
