Kaye, don't worry about it! I didn't cash in for a webcert for a long time because I was afraid that I wouldn't understand it and would just mess up my $$.
Okay, we will use mypoints for an example.
You cash out at mypoints for a $10 webcert. They notify webcert to send you one. This is where it is kind of different from other programs. The webcert will come from webcertificates.com not the mypoints. In the subject line of the email it will say, "Here is your webcertificate from Mypoints"
Open that email. There will be a link in the email, click on it. It will take you to the webcertificate site and show you what looks like a greeting card telling you how much the webcert is. It will then ask you to log in or create a new account. Create the new account. All they will want to know is the basics of your name, address, etc. It will then set up your account and your money will be instantly available for use. It will show you your balance, account number, and experation date. If you use it online, use it just like a mastercard.
Now after you have redeemed the first one, whenever you get another one, all you will have to do is click the link, and put in your email address and password and it will be instantly added to your account.
And remember that all webcertificates from the different programs, and all family members webcerts can all go into the same account.
