We just called for info. on DVC, and we will be receiving our video, book, etc. soon!! I am so excited! We really want to do this!! Did you find this info.(the video, etc.) helpful in making a decision? Does it give you all the info. you need to know? Thanks!!

Yes, I found the video and book to be very helpful in my decision making. A friend of mine was a DVC owner and suggested I call and ask for info. I had never stayed onsite at DW, and was not there to take the tour. So I wound up buying sight unseen, and I haven't had any second thoughts! The video got me excited, and the book helped things to make good sense. The book also gave me a glimpse into all the other travel opportunities available apart from DW itself. The variety of trips was a big selling point for me.

I found that I still needed to call my guide a few times with some questions. I wish I had known of the existence of these boards when I was trying to learn more!!

I just bought in last May, and will take my first DVC trip next month. I'm already looking at buying more points soon too.
