So last night, I was looking through the latest edition of Scrapbooks Etc. (love it!!), and I saw the new We R Memory Keepers page protectors in an ad. Now, these have probably been out a while (I'm SO behind!!), but they're the ones where there are FULL 12 x 12 page protectors OR you can buy the kind with 4 x 6 divided slots. It even had "suggestions" on how to mix both (that was for the scrapbook stupid, like me!!). The idea of doing both appealed to me--maybe I wouldn't get so bogged down!!

I remember LindaBabe posted her album similar to this earlier, and seeing these made me really think I'd like them.

Does anyone know where they sell these? Does We R Memory Keepers have a site or is there one we know of that does sell them? I couldn't search this morning, so I thought I'd just ask my go-to folks here!!
:)

SIOH,
I went to HL and found Pebbles brand that had the 4x6 dividers (horizontal only = 6 slots) in the 12 x 12 size.... I love them.. I've got photos tucked in some but trying to find the right way to go... I'll bump up Lindababe's thread about that...

I'm actually going to use a lot more of them.. I do however, need to find some that have the portrait as well as horizontal slots in it...

I'll do a search for you!!

Thanks, dear! The We R ones had vertical as well as horizontal--I liked that, especially for vacation pics!! Good to know about the Pebbles Brand! I'll have to look for them.

I'm thinking I've seen regular We R ones at ACM, but I can't remember!!

Hey girl!
Here is lindababe's thread... she has a link to where she posted it... :)

I'm gonna look around some more..the vertical ones are really calling me for pictures of our vacation pool home from 2008.... I'm thinkin' they need ordered this weekend! LOL

I was looking at these page protectors recently when I was thinking about next year's Project 365. If I go ahead and do it for another year, I want something that holds 4 x 6 photos, because I am tired of resizing my photos to fit the page protectors I used this year!!

I just can't figure out what combination of pages I could use most effectively for 7 photos and 7 journaling blocks per week. Anyone use these for a similar project and can make any suggestions?..................P

If you did 7 photos- in the 4 by 6 boxes (7) and then did 6 days journaling in 1/2 size areas (cut the card in half or do 2 days on a card (3) then you would have 1 day with a full pocket for journaling (1) and 1 pocket left for either the week or maybe a week summary on a 2 page spread.

Thanks, Nan! I like the ones with 4 4x6 & one 8x6, and then I like the one with 6 vertical, etc. I think I need one of each + the regular 12 x 12! :lmao: Are the ring albums hard to find??

The dates for end-of-school are June 5-11, 2010! Will you be there then??

Crush, we are there at the end of June... I do believe we are headed your direction in late July for a college visit... I will keep you posted and we will meet up!!!!

I really like them...

As for the 365 project.. this year I'm going to pick a date..and every month on that date we are going to take a family photo....so if we happen to be at a special event, we will get someone to take our photo there... if we are at home we'll have the tripod up...

Hey SIOH,
Did you order these this weekend?

I ordered these today to try... couldn't pass up the price.. hoping they'll be here by Fri/Sat...
12"x12" - 3 (4X6) 2 (6X4) 1 (12X2) Pockets
12"x12" - 6 (6X4) Pockets (the vertical ones)

I couldn't find the vertical at HL... but I did notice the pebble brand is a package of 20 sheets in the horizontal set 6 (4x6). whereas these WRMK are 10 to a pack... no big deal...but just a difference I noticed... (it is cost appropriate... $5 for 10... $10 for 20)...

I think DH might've ordered them today--I hinted and hinted and hinted!

Unless you think adding the things to the cart, printing out the cart, and then sending him the link to that website AND a link to this thread was too subtle. . .;)

LOL!
NO, it is CLARIFYING exactly what he is to do!

Always, when you want something and DH is ordering.. you send SPECIFICS!!! :)

I LOVE that idea.... and so much less time consuming/stressful than actually taking a photo every day!! But if we did something like that it would have to be a weekend day or else DH wouldn't be in most of the photos. He works out of town a LOT lately and I'm not sure if that is going to change for next year or not. But I hope you don't mind.... I'm putting your idea away in my memory and will think on it for a while!.....................P

Don't mind at all for the use of the monthly photo.. you could always use the 2nd Sunday of each month or something!

I think it will be kind of cool to see where we are each date.... I'm sure one will be a ball game.... the kids are going to draw a date out of the hat this weekend! I have to plan ahead...
