I can't believe this stuff isn't out there yet.

cardaway said:Not every piece produced is on DVD yet, but it's obvious you didn't do much of a search. Over 75% of the shorts are on DVD.
If there is a problem it is the price Paramount and the others want for these DVD's. The prices are on average much higher than other similar DVD's.
What they have failed to do so far is create a complete box set that actually is priced like a box set. The holiday special box set for example is simply the sperate releases boxed together and basically the same price as the singles. A new box set ala the recent Hanna Barbara releases would be very welcome and would sell like hot cakes if priced correctly.

Towncrier said:You need to search the web for my most favorite Charlie Brown which, as it turns out, was never aired on TV. A couple of guys took the song "Hey Ya" and used it as a soundtrack for clips from "A Charlie Brown Christmas". It is one of the funniest things that I've ever seen. If you search for "Hey Ya, Charlie Brown", you might find it floating around the web. I know that the copyright holders of Charlie Brown were none too thrilled with the video, but I think that it really paid homage to the original cartoons. It is yet another case where the line between fair use and copyright is blurred.
If you check Internet Movie Database for Charlie Brown, you should be able to find links to all of the available DVDs and VHS versions of that material. Another place to check would be www.dvdpricesearch.com
