We loved it so much WE HAD TO GO BACK!!! A Spontaneous Spring Break Trip Update 7/20

You’re back! I’m so glad you had a great trip and I can’t wait to read the TR! But it’s too bad you have been under the weather. Coming home and getting sick is so not fun. :(

I would love to go to WDW during the off-seasons. No lines, not boiling hot, ahhhh, it would be perfect.

Yay! Andy survived Mission Space!

The giraffe topiaries are amazing. Oh my God.

I don’t think we have ever actually have gone to the American Adventure. I know, I am very unpatriotic.

It's THE BEST to go during off season. I must admit I missed the heat a little but the lack of lines and lower prices make up for it ;)

He did and i was VERY proud of him.

Haha, I usually go once every other trip so I myself am not the most patriotic. But if you're ever looking for something new to do you know where to find it now :thumbsup2 haha

Uhhhhh, I ordered soup. Where’s the wet? and THE CHIIIIIIIIIPS <3
March 6, 2012

So after we finished up for an amazing look at our great countries past (or in Andy’s case a lovely half an hour nap) we were more than ready to head off to lunch!!!

Here are just a few shots of the inside of the American Adventure for those of you who have never been inside

IMG_6888.jpg

It’s actually a GIANT theatre. It can seat more people than the theatre in the college I went to!!! So yea… GO AMERICA.

IMG_6889.jpg

Now if you know Andy and I you know that our FAVORITE restaurant on ALL of Disney property lies within the walls of Epcot, specifically in the world showcase. How funny that we just so happen to be there at that very moment.

Coincidence? I think not!!! Actually we always make a point to stop here and stuff our faces with some of THE MOST DELICIOUS food that has ever been consumed.

Incase you still don’t know what I am talking about it’s San Angel Inn at Mexico <3 I feel like it is one of those hidden gems of Disney. All the reviews I read before going the first time people seemed less than impressed with it, which I must admit was a HUGE turn off for me. If other people don’t like it why should I eat there? Oh because we have the dinning plan and want to get our money’s worth? OK!!!

So basically the story behind hwy we love this place so much. I have always been in love with the inside of this place. I think it is just so magical and romantic and perfect. So on Andy’s first trip to Disney with my family we used the dinning plan for the first time (usually we just ate PB&J back in the room, we were never allowed to eat in Disney restaurants) so I decided that San Angel Inn was going to be my pick for the trip unfortunately no one else wanted to go there so it was going to be a date night for Andy and I. Long story short, we loved it and go back without fail every trip <3 In fact it’s so important to us that we got engaged there and if it was possible we could our wedding there we totally would.

Sorry for that little tangent, I now return you to your regularly scheduled trip report.

Before heading in it is mandatory that we get a photo out front. I can’t wait until we are little old people and we have hundreds of these photos and can see how much we have changed.

First a picture of Bobby, anytime he passes Mexico he takes a picture just like this the caption is usually “why is no one proposing to me?!”

IMG_6891.jpg

A few more to add to the collection of Andy and I

IMG_6892.jpg

IMG_6894.jpg

This is Bobby being artsy, he wants to be a photopass

IMG_6897.jpg

We scurried inside and checked in about 15 minutes early, we were handed a buzzer and decided to shop around the little indoor open-air market while we waited.

Just before our buzzer rang we found shirts that we HAD to buy. So we ran them over to the cashier and asked her to put them on hold for us while we ate.

And off we went to an AMAZING lunch, we were luckily seated at a table right on the water. I had to laugh because out of our three times eating here we sat at a river table twice and of course the night we got engaged was not one of them haha.

475892_10151347607845507_160597982_o.jpg

We ordered and shortly thereafter we were brought out one of the most glorious parts of the meal, so glorious that this entire update is basically dedicated to them…

THE CHIIIIIIIIIIPS <3

IMG_6901.jpg

These are literally little pieces of heaven and when mixed with the salsa create the perfect fiesta in your mouth. OH MY GOODNESS, I cannot even begin to describe the light perfect crunch of these things, they are like something from a fairytale.

This was Bobby’s first time at San Angel Inna and he could not believe how perfect it all was. (Your welcome Bobby for introducing you to heaven on earth) He actually wasn’t even going to come to lunch with us this day, he actually had pizza and Doritos in a Tupperware in his bag (which we later dumped out to make room to transport our THIRD cone of delicious chips)

And before we could even devour our first cone of chips our food was already at our table

Bobby got Sopa Azteca - Traditional tortilla soup with avocado, cheese and pasilla pepper. I didn’t get a picture of it because I didn’t want to intrude on his personal space. BUT funny story about the soup when they bring it out they bring out a bowl with all the dry ingredients and then pour the broth over it. We didn’t know that at first so when the placed the bowl in front of him Bobby’s face was priceless he was like “uhhhhh, I ordered soup. Where’s the wet?”

I believe this is what Andy got, I’m not 100 percent sure though. Tacos de Filete - grilled tenderloin beef served with soft flour tortilla, topped with chipotle pepper sauce.

IMG_6899.jpg

I apologize for the blurry photo but it’s hard to get a good photo in that dark restaurant. He really liked them and surprise surprise even though they were so small he still didn’t finish them!!! I guess he ate a few to many of THE CHIIIIIIIIIPS <3

And last but not least my plate of deliciousness!!! Pollo A Las Rajas - grilled chicken breast served over red peppers, onion strips, cream sauce, and fresh cheese

IMG_6898.jpg

Every time I take a picture of this I always laugh to see it in person because it really isn’t the most delicious looking meal you have seen but boy the taste is like WHAM creamy delicious goodness. I get it every time without fail and have yet to be disappointed with it. Perfect tender chicken, with delicious rice, surrounded by the perfect creamy sauce you have ever eaten in your life!!! MMMMMMMMM.

After our meal we went waddled over to the cashier and purchased our three callbaeros t-shirts that we had found earlier and from that moment on we were The Three Callbaeros!!!

From there it was time to head over to the Magic Kingdom to meet up with Keirsten and Primo. Yay friends!!!

On the way out we got some photopass pictures taken of The Three Caballeros

a6302490-db97-407f-9963-a00e017e1215.jpg

I love these boys <3 Ugh they are just so great. This was another one of those moments where I was just in complete awe of being in Disney. MAGIC!!!

ef9bc75b-3419-4824-ac00-a00e017e1215.jpg

We wandered to the front of the park and hopped on my favorite mode of Disney transportation (THE MONORAIL) to get to the Magi Kingdom.

IMG_6902.jpg

He was so excited!!! (but then they changed the voice. BOOOOOOO)

Going to the Magic Kingdom to see friends. YAY!!! I’m in Disney. YAY!! I LOVE LIFE

IMG_6903.jpg

We made it to the transportation and ticket center and it was time to transfer monorails. Monorail teal!!!

IMG_6904.jpg

TWINS!!!

We made it through the turnstiles and onto one of the most magical streets on earth Main Street USA

IMG_6906.jpg

Took a left at Casey’s Corner, hey Piano Man!!!

IMG_6907.jpg

and we stopped right about here

IMG_6908.jpg

for some more photopass pictures of course!!! Man I was loving them on this trip.

Smile and ignore the crane!!!

From there we headed over to Adventureland to meet up with Keirsten and Primo who were in line to meet Tinkerbell one of Keirsten’s favorites.

Pretty soon even more memories would be made with 5 of the happiest people in the world.

Tune In Next Time!!!

I’ve always heard bad reviews of San Angel Inn, so they have turned me off from the restaurant. I know you love it and have said so many wonderful things about it, so I might have to try it one trip.

Mmmmm, the food looks so good. I’m getting hungry.

I LOVE this picture!

The Magic Kingdom!

I think the crane looks bad behind the castle, but it seems like many people don’t really care about it.

I would totally recommend San Angel!!! One thing I will say is that my family is split 50/50, mostly because when we ate there the first time they all ordered one meal and we ordered something different that was apparently 100% better. So, I guess don't get the molé and maybe you will end up loving it!!!

The crane is kind of a sad addition to photo but so are the grey clouds that are in so many of the pictures that I took on this trip haha. I think it's was an eyesore but that's just my opinion.

Sounds like your having blast. I'm trying to surprise my DS#2 who is 15 and missed out when his brother went with his marching band. Trying to find a good time to go with out him missing to much school.

It really was such a good time!!! I'm not sure when your school district has off of school but this was literally on of the perfect times. The way it worked out was our school had off the week right before most people have spring break so the place was empty, the prices were low but (bumped up the day after we left, lucky us!!!) and there was no extreme heat/rain. it was perfect

Good Friends, Good Memories and So Many Laughs
March 6, 2012

After making our way to Adventureland we waited outside the Ariel/Tinkerbell meet and greet area for Keirten and Primo.

I wish we had gotten more pictures with them this day but we were just se excited to see each other/be in Disney that we didn’t really think about it.

Anyways once we met up with them and their adorable matching t-shirts/Mickey ears we decided to head over to get fastpasses for splash mountain before it got to be too late and the sun went down because we would be freezing if we got wet.

IMG_6909.jpg

From there we decided to cross back over to Tomorrowland we went through Fantasyland so that I could get a picture of Snow White’s Scary Adventure in the daylight (Just like in August I thought that it was going to be my last time seeing it) I had to capture the memories of my childhood.

IMG_6910.jpg

It makes me so sad knowing that it really is gone now… *sigh*

We got some pictures of the then new additions to the Fantsyland expansion

IMG_6911.jpg

Once we decided what to do next we found ourselves at the Laugh Floor. Always a good time, I love watching Andy at this show, his true inner child comes out and it just makes me so happy to see him laugh.

IMG_6912.jpg

Bobby must be good luck because we ended up on the big screen for a good 4-5 minutes. It started out that they asked me to guess a number and then concentrate it really hard to the big screen, when I was concentrating I must hve made a funny face because they kept asking me to do it again. Then they saw our Just Engaged Pins and moved down the line to Andy. They asked when we got engaged and he said on our last trip in August, so 6 months and then they made a joke about my name, it was something along the lines of “Oh you heard her name so you decided to get engaged because it was like “I’ll-lease-ya” (Alicia, uh-lea-sha) rather then buy ya”. It was completely embarrassing and really funny at the same time. Andy didn’t get the joke but I laughed right away for a long time.

Anywyas…

We left the Laugh floor completely embarrassed and laughing our butts off and decided to walk over and get fastpasses for Space Mountain.

IMG_6913.jpg

Then we then went to use our fastpasses for Splash Mountain before it got too cold out because let me tell you, it was getting there.

When we arrived at the fastpass return they had boarded but the entrance within the hour that we had been gone and we had the darndest time trying to figure out how to get in line. We ended up having to go through a “secret passageway” which was right by the bridge that overlooks the big drop.

Once we found out how to get in line panic mode set in…

Now let me tell you a little story about Keirsten, she DOES NOT LIKE rides. Her size says a lot about the kind of rides she likes. She is “travel sized” “tiny” or for lack of better terms “child sized” and that’s how she likes her rides. She hated anything that had a drop and gives her that (in my opinion AMAZING) feeling in her stomach.

She hadn’t been to Disney since she was 12 and she is now 21 so she agreed to do everything at least once, which I’m sure Primo really appreciated or else he would have missed out on A LOT.

So basically this was her the entire wait…

IMG_6915.jpg

We made our way through the singing critters and down the briar patch and while we were floating down stream I saw this

IMG_6916.jpg

Now he may look like a regular old piano playing pig to you but let me tell you something!!!

His vest, is made of a magical fabric and by magical I mean it is the same fabric that makes up a Disney costume that I long to wear at some point in my career

Does anyone know who’s it is? Take a guess and while you read through the rest of this post pondering it I’ll post a picture of the costume at the bottom so you know what my dream Disney role is and see how up to date you are on Disney Costuming!!!

Anyways we passed the pig and exited our log and ran to see the ride photo. Anytime we got to even the slightest drop on the ride I would scream out IT’S THE BIG ONE!!! To really get Keirsten’s motor going (after all it’s a tradition in my family to do that, I was scared out of my mind the firs time I rode it so it’s only fair).

Without futher ado I give you what may be one of the best ride photos in history. Sheer terror…

412955_10151348298435507_912534139_o.jpg

After that Keirsten and Primo had to make it to their dinner reservation (at our less than favorite) The Plaza.

They ran off while Andy, Bobby and I decided to go on the teacups because in my opinion that is one of THE BEST places to take pictures while you are in Disney.

IMG_6917.jpg

I know that it sounds silly but I really think that this ride is perfect it brings out the true joy and meaning of Disney, families together and non stop laughter and happiness

IMG_6919.jpg

while in line I spotted on of my all time FAVORITES!!!

IMG_6920.jpg

That fifteen minute wait from the sign was more like 5 and we were off having a few good laughs

Andy

IMG_6924.jpg

Bobby loving life

IMG_6925.jpg

We were spinning so fast that I could hardly sit up

IMG_6926.jpg

That was probably my favorite part about this growing up, was watching all the people who are on it act like idiot and not really understanding because they don’t look like they are moving that fast, then you ride and it’s like “where did my muscles go?!”

For example

IMG_6933.jpg

Ahhhhhhhhm such fun <3

We met up with Keirsten and Primo, they enjoyed their dinner but admitted that it wasn’t the best and didn’t know if they would ever go back given the choice.

We went off and decided to use our fastpasses

IMG_6938.jpg

After that it was getting REALLY chilly. So we decided to head back to the room to get some warmer clothes. We begrudgingly exited the Magic Kingdom…

It took about a good hour for a bus to show up meaning that it was about 8:30/8:45 and I REALLY wanted to see the Magic, Memories and You since we had missed it our first night due to riding Splash Mountain. I wanted to get out of line but just as I was about to a bus showed up so we decided to try to race to the room and back and see if we could time travel I suppose…

Keirsten and Primo were staying at the All Star Music but their bus was nowhere in sight either so they got our bus and decided to take the 5-10 minute walk to their resort from our room.

After changing as quickly as we could we were back at the bus stop waiting and

Waiting…

IMG_6939.jpg

Had a bus been there as soon as we got in line we would have made it to the show but, as my luck with buses would have it, when Alicia wants to be somewhere the bus is going to take it’s merry little time…

Oh well, I was in Disney, no reason to be sad. Rejoice for you are in Disney when you should not be

I always cut off Andy’s head… and my eyes are starting to get red again but oh well we were happy and in Disney, that’s all that matters <3

IMG_6940.jpg

Tune In Next Time!!!

Answer to the costuming question:
Ok so here is the answer to my costuming/fabric question from before:

The pig’s vest makes up the same dress as Miss Clare De Lune, my absolute dream role in Disney <3

652.jpg

Seriously though, I would give anything to be here. Incase you have no idea who she is, she can be found at the Hoop Dee Doo Review at Fort Wilderness a show that my family has been going to since I was about two and I have dreamed of being in this show basically ever since then.

Baby Alicia, loving The Hoop Dee Doo (and Disney) from a ripe young age

Family tradition <3

248850_10150586962500507_2722109_n.jpg

Side note, I cannot wait to have kids and make millions of Disney memories with them and take SO MANY PICTURES. I had a truly amazing childhood and I want to be able to do the same for my kids.

That’s so awesome you guys got on the screen at the Laugh Floor!

Haha the ride photo on Splash Mountain is great. Keirsten looks so scared though!

I love the pictures on the Mad Tea Party. You guys look like you were having so much fun!

I love those pictures of you when you at the Hoop Dee Doo. They are so cute! :cutie:

IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING, now when I go in there I am so scared of being put up there again haha

Like I said, the teacups are and always will be my favorite place to take photos. We got pictures there on our August trip that are some of my favorite Disney pictures ever because the colors are so bright and happy.

The Hoop Dee Doo definitely holds a special place in my heart, so many wonderful family memories there

A Magic Kingdom Night to Remember
March 6, 2012

When I last left off we were just hanging out on the ground waiting for a bus to arrive to take us to the Magic Kingdom.

Now that we knew we had missed the fireworks we were in no real rush and it was actually a relief to just sit on the ground and relax. I don’t know what it is about Disney but there is just no time to even think about sleeping there is simply too much to do and tonight was no exception!!!

When the bus finally arrived we made our way back to the Magic Kingdom and down Main Street.

Side Note: Main Street at night is probably one of my favorite things in the world. The music, the lights, the people, the pure energy and happiness it’s perfection.

My trip journal says that when we were walking in someone gave us fastpasses but for the life of me I do not remember this… I am assuming that they were for Sapce Mountain because that’s the direction we were heading when the next event happened.

As we were making our way down one of my favorite streets in the world and the most beautiful voice in the entire world came out of nowhere and said “We will be having a special second presentation of the Magic the Memories and you in just a few short minutes”

Well maybe that’s not exactly what he said but it was something along those lines and I was literally bawling my eyes out as we ran from the bakery to the hub in seconds flat to get a good spot to see my FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME from.

This was another first for Keirsten and Primo. They didn’t understand how I could talk up a show as much as I did this one. But once it started, they completely understood. Which can be demonstrated here:

IMG_6941.jpg

Literally I could hardly watch the show because I was engulfed in their reactions to the entire thing. I am basically a parent and love to take in the way the people I love take things in. They both turned into children filled with giddiness and joy. Keirsten couldn’t even mumble words and Primo (who is a design tech major, lighting sets and stuff for theatre) couldn’t stop turning around and in circles and saying “How do they do that?!” and trying to firgure out where it was all coming from.

Ugh thinking about it just makes me want to cry everywhere.

This was a different version from the one that we had seen in August. It was close to February so it was still the “Valentine’s version” of the show which mean there were a few new additions

Sleeping Beauty stained glass window with roses

IMG_6943.jpg

And my absolute FAVORITE part of the show FLOATING LANTERNS <3 I didn’t know that they had added this and as soon as I heard “I see the Lights” I felt that lump un my throat and my eyes started to swell with tears of complete and utter joy.

IMG_6947.jpg

Open up your heart and let the memories begin

IMG_6949.jpg

Ugh <3 hands down this is the best show/display on Disney property. I could listen to the music for days.

After I stopped crying and regained my composure we headed over to use the fast passes that we were handed on our walk in

IMG_6954.jpg

This is another great ride picture.

IMG_6955.jpg

I must admit I don’t know why they put the picture spot where they did on this ride, nothing is really happening. Usually I am just looking stupid because it’s like “oh hey the ride just started and I’m just sitting here…” So nowadays I either try to make a face or cover my face in someway.

And the other three, having a grand old time as always

424902_10150742670718083_1865190164_n.jpg

From that quick zip through inner space we headed to another quick spin through space Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin!!! (This is actually one of my least favorite things to do in Disney)

While in line we were all getting a little chapped from the cold, luckily Keirsten had some chapstick that she didn’t mind sharing.

IMG_6958.jpg

This picture makes me laugh… “oh here, let me help you with that Bobby”

IMG_6959.jpg

Ahhhh sweet relief…

IMG_6962.jpg

So once we made it inside, which I don’t recall taking too long, it was time to split up. I opted to go it alone because as I said earlier I am no good at the game and I just get really frustrated when I can’t get points.

So the cars were Keirsten and Primo look at them loving life and ready to zap some aliens

IMG_6963.jpg

Me all alone, no pictures please

and the third was Andy and Bobby

IMG_6964.jpg

Andy ended up getting mad because Bobby knows all the secrets so he was a million points ahead in the very first room. To this day he still says “Bobby cheated!!!” haha

And of course ride pictures

IMG_6969.jpg

I think I got like 10 points because I video taped the entire time

IMG_6970.jpg

haha what faces these two make

IMG_6971.jpg

From there Bobby was going through caffeine withdrawal and was craving one of his newly found treats. Working in Disney and just hanging out in the parks on your days off must be the most amazing thing. I can’t wait till that’s me.

Bobby’s new addiction was a coffee float from Auntie Gravity’s. He literally had like 5 or 6 of them while we were there.

While we were stopped we all decided to get ice cream while we were at it!!! Good this we went back to the room for pants and hoodies or else we would have been REALLY cold

IMG_6974.jpg

After our ice cream we went in search of some more fun!!!

Tune In Next Time!!!

Oh my gosh, we got on the Monsters Inc screen when we were with Bobby too! He must be good luck!

AWW little Keirsten! hahaha she's so cute.

Such cute baby pictures!! I feel the same way about my future kids. :goodvibes :lovestruc

Oh my God, that's SO magical that there was a second showing of MM&Y for you guys. I want to cry just thinking about it! How perfect!

YUM ICE CREAM!

I totally agree about Main Street at night. It’s amazing <3

The Magic, the Memories, and You…Disney needs to stop making me cry all the time!

I’ve been watching YouTube videos of MM&Y and I love the part with the lanterns. I can’t wait to see it in person!

I am so awful on Buzz. And TSM. You’re not alone.

A COFFEE FLOAT?! That sounds absolutely incredible.

She was so cute the entire trip and I can't tell if it is because she is child size and adorable or because it was her first time there in so long that everything she took in was new and magical.

Thank you!!! Someone else who understands

It was SO Perfect and we could not have timed it better. It was AMAZING

But Really!!! Crying everywhere all the time, last night I had a dream about Disney saw the castle and started sleep/dream crying.

It's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen :lovestruc

Phewwww, I honestly thought that I was the only one who is terrible at it. My family calls me a sore loser but I really just get so confused why they can make it work and I can't haha

awesome updates!!!
i love your VB bag!!! which version is that one?!?!?

The style of the pink and purple bag is Saddle Up in boysenberry. It's my favorite bag to use in the parks because it can fit SO MUCH without getting overly bulky

Thanks again for reading along!!!

Fantasyland fun After the Sun
March 6, 2012

After we stuffed our faces with ice cream we went in search of another adventure and found ourselves at Mickey’s Philharmagic. I was hoping that this time would go over better than the last time when I sat in tears because my eyes were on fire.

We passed by this sign and of course I had to take a picture due to our recently purchased shirts, which I believe we wear around the park on the next day.

The three caballeros <3

IMG_6975.jpg

I managed to stay alive this time, success!!! Apparently during the show during the Peter Pan scene Keirsten freaked out, her miniature self thinks that she’s Tinkerbell so when she saw this part she said “YESSSSSSS, it’s me!!! IT’S MY TURN... hehe I’m crazy”

We still say that to this day. Oh boy, she is so precious.

From there we wandered around Fantasyland to “the happiest cruise that ever sailed”

IMG_6976.jpg

As you can tell from this photo Andy really loved the cruise and he can’t wait to do it again

IMG_6980.jpg

Poor guy, I ran him ragged on this trip. No time to stop and breathe let alone sleep. I’m proud of him for being such a trooper and putting up with a drill sergeant while he is suppose to be on vacation.

After a brief nap (in Andy’s case anywyas) we decided to wander around Fantasyland some more and look for Bobby’s roommate who rotates between Philharmagic and the Carousel.

He was working the Carousel at that point so we couldn’t really go over and talk to him so we decided to do something else, something way more fun!!!

Pull the sword from the stone. Unfortunately none of us were able to accomplish the task but that doesn’t mean we didn’t try!!!

Bobby went first, very valiant effort on his behalf

IMG_6986.jpg

Then tiny Keristen went but she was just too tiny apparently “I think I can, I think I can”

IMG_6987.jpg

Andy the stud muffin went next but didn’t quite make it

Primo and I decided not to go because there was a huge line forming behind us with little kids. Where did you all come from?! Shouldn’t you be sleeping? It’s like 11 o’clock.

We went on Peter Pan and decided that it was time to get going.

But not before we got a group picture in front of the castle of course!!! Photopass was my best friend on this trip haha

6ecb11ce-a9be-48ab-818a-a00e017e1217.jpg

what an amazing night <3 from there we all decided to go our separate ways, Primo and Keirsten wanted to go shopping to pick things up for their families, Bobby had to go to get a ride home so he wouldn’t have to take the bus and Andy and I?

Well we decided to stop at LITETERALLY every photopass on Main Street

5fc9cd55-4332-432d-8a0b-a00e017e1217.jpg

I will save you the long list of pictures and just post a few

0a10d631-17a0-4f73-9cb7-a00e017e1219.jpg

We were just having such an amazing vacation, I went from freaking out about being in Disney without my family to having one of the best vacations of my life.

IMG_6990.jpg

After we took a million pictures we decided to stop in the shops and see what they had to tempt us with.

We walked into the Emporium and this was one of the first things I saw

IMG_6993.jpg

I’m not sure if it was a cast member who put it like this or a guest but I thought it was the cutest thing ever.

I found this sweatshirt and really debated getting it, I had seen someone with it on earlier that day and had to get my hands on it!!! But then I came to the conclusion that it was fairly close to the one that I already had on and I could use the $70 elsewhere. So I took a picture of it like I do with everything I wanted but didn’t buy haha

We actually ran into Keirsten and Primo who were STILL shopping about a half an hour after they said they were leaving haha

We said goodnight once again and we headed to the bus stop. On the way out I spotted this and had to take a picture of it, I wondered if they would take it down once the ride no longer exists.

IMG_6997.jpg

Oh the memories <3

We wandered out of the park at around 11:30 I believe, the park didn’t close until 12 but we really couldn’t drag on any longer. Made it back to the room and passed out right away.

After all we had another early morning a head of us, you have to cram as much as you can into these mini vacations.

Tune In Next Time!!!

I love the photopass pictures!

Oh my goodness, the Goofy and Pluto stuffed animals! Adorable!

Yeah I wonder if they will keep the poster up. I think they should.

Thank you. I am so glad they have photopass because it's really hard to get pictures when it's just two people lol

If they take it down I would totally love to buy it haha I wonder how much that would go for.

Just a heads up to anyone following along with this trip report!!! I started the one for our May Trip simply because I couldn't wait to start sharing those stories as well and because this one is wrapping up pretty quickly. SO if you wish to follow along with the new one it can be found here:

WARNING: YOLO 2012 Do NOT try this at Home!!! We’re Professionals (May TR)

As always thanks for reading along with me here and I hope that you enjoy the rest of this one and will come along for another exciting ride!!!

A Morning of Mania!!!
March 7, 2012

The alarm went off bright and early on this our last Disney park day. 6:30 because there is no time for sleeping got to cram cram cram. DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY!!!

We got up and got ready, putting on our matching T-Shirts, I texted Bobby to let him know we were up and moving and that the shirt I had bought was a little on the tiny side (usually I like my t-shirts big and loose but he decided to pick me up a child’s medium)

We opened the door to see one of the saddest sights to behold in all of Disney World

IMG_7000.jpg

Yep magical express mail isn’t as fun when you are leaving as it is when you get those yellow tags.

We left the room after chucking that back in on the table and pretending like we had never seen it haha.

In case you can’t tell from the title we were headed over to…

IMG_7001.jpg

We were on the bus at 8:11 and the park opened at 9:00 but we were hoping to get let in early like the last time!!! The good thing about the All-Stars is that they are like 10 minutes away from my favorite park <3 Closer to my real love The Tower of Terror <3 haha

We arrived and got in line and I took a picture of one of my favorite Mickeys

IMG_7004.jpg

We got in line with everyone else, no getting in early this morning but it was ok because the crowds weren’t too bad.

First thing we did? Head straight to Toy Story Mania with everyone else of course!!!

Fastpass baby, as you can see from the fine print by my thumb this was the first day that Disney would “not be able to accommodate late arrivals” I took a picture on it on my iphone and sent it to facebook to let the world know that they weren’t joking around.

IMG_7005.jpg

We got in line and waited it out in the stand by because it was basically a walk on. That’s the good thing about being such a small group you can maneuver the crowds really easily unlike the group of 8 I am use to traveling with, someone is always getting lost.

Yay Toy Story!!!

IMG_7008.jpg

Of course this happiness wouldn’t last for long because the competition was about to begin!!!

Ham would be taking us through this exciting ride this time around

IMG_7009.jpg

This time between rounds I took a picture every time to prove to Andy that the only reason he wins is because I flop out on the last two rounds. My arm just gets sore and numb and I can’t push through haha. But I’ll save you the pictures and just let you know that I was in the lead until the very end!!! But, as always, Andy won…

IMG_7015.jpg

From there we followed the usual game plan and darted over to TOWER OF TERROR!!! In case you didn’t already know, I kind of like this ride… just a little haha

BUT IT WAS CLOSED?! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that seemed to be a trend this trip it was always broken.

So we settled for Rock n’ Roller coaster

Don’t let the smile fool you I was crushed on the inside

IMG_7016.jpg

but then I remembered I was in Disney so I got over it pretty quickly. If you look closely in the background of this picture you will see my least favorite part of this ride… The Marble Doors. Oh my goodness I have never heard anything more annoying in my life then when children play with these, and then their parents get in on it and then everyone wants a shot at it and man snowball effect. I have yet to make it through there without hearing the marbles.

This ride on RnR I discovered something amazing. Riding the ride without holding on!!! I can’t even really remember what made me do this in the first place, I think it’s the fact that Andy holds on for dear life at the take off and I wanted to show him up. So I rode the whole thing without holding on and I will never hold on again. It is literally the coolest sensation!!!

Anyways, after that crazy ride we decided to see if Tower of Terror (<3) was open and IT WAS!!! Yippie skippie (:

So we went on and on the way out I stopped to trade my Vinylmation and wouldn’t ya know who I ended up getting…

My favorite in the whole world…

IMG_7018.jpg

Big Baby!!! Just kidding this one CREEPS ME OUT

After that we got some fastpasses so we could visit my favorite hotel again later.

IMG_7017.jpg

My fastpasses still aren’t letting me arrive late. Something’s gotta be wrong here.

We bolted as fast as we could down Hollywood Blvd. to a shop that I knew had a box for me to trade Big Baby. That’s the best part, once you get to trading you know where all the boxes are!!!

Sorry Big Baby but you have got to go. It’s not you, it’s me....

IMG_7019.jpg

When we got in the store there was actually a line for people who wanted to trade. In this store they had a clear box and a mystery box. I had decided that I wanted one of the ones from the clear box BUT THEN the person in front of me changed my mind. They had decided that they wanted to trade this beauty

IMG_7022.jpg

IMG_7023.jpg

Blue Monorail!!! Why you would give away a monorail is beyond me but no ones mad because now he is sitting on my dresser at home FOREVER, not giving that one away.

Since I didn’t want to give it away I had to buy another one for the remainder of the trip. While I was checking out Andy traded one of his pins to get an Ariel one for me because he knows how much I love her.

Isn’t he precious

IMG_7024.jpg

YAY MONORAIL!!! You get a thumbs up and you can see the new one tucked away under my arm

IMG_7025.jpg

We went to sit on a bench really fast so that I could open it and see what I got. I made sure to buy one from the collection that had the 25th anniversary one that I had spotted earlier in the same store but no luck getting it.

Look Andy I’ve got two vinlymations!!!

IMG_7027.jpg

I ended up with an EPCOT one that I really liked but was all over the parks so I knew I wouldn’t feel bad trading it.

IMG_7028.jpg

IMG_7029.jpg

I really like the colors on it though. Very Disney.

From there Andy was feeling a little munchy so I decided to take him to a special place…

Starring Rolls Café, a few years back I got this kid hooked on red velvet when I was watching cupcake wars and decided to make a red velvet cake. He was hesitant to eating it at first, as you recall from the trip reports he is not an adventurous eater by any means. He tried it and loved and can’t get enough of it now haha.

I looked around the little store to see if there was anything else that caught my eye but I knew we were eating lunch soon so I decided to pass.

IMG_7032.jpg

The towering cupcake that we both couldn’t wait to try!!!

IMG_7035.jpg

Opinions?: I wasn’t really a fan of it, at all actually. I was so sad I kept eating it thinking maybe the next bite will be better but then I left it to Andy to finish up. The cake itself was pretty good but there was just too much frosting!!! It was a mountain of cream cheese frosting surrounded in butter cream with some kind of butter finger crunchies on it that I really DID NOT LIKE. So long story short Andy at almost the entire thing what I did eat I scraped the frosting off of. I’ll stick to Sci-Fi for my red velvet.

After that we decided to head over to Midway Mania to use our fastpasses the best part about this is that we were basically double fastpassed. We went in the fastpass line and then we got to go through the double rider line. SCORE!!!

IMG_7037.jpg

Wheezy would be our guide this time through. Still have yet to get a Bo Peep car. I can’t wait for the day when that happens (not like it matters but maybe she will be good luck for me!!!)

IMG_7038.jpg

And wouldn’t you know when the final scores came in I still wasn’t anywhere close to winning.

IMG_7039.jpg

Haha what a fail.

It was then that I noticed this little button for what I assume is closed captioning and I just thought that that was really neat. Not sure why but I was really amused with it how thoughtful Disney is!!!

IMG_7041.jpg

From there we went in search of food and by in search of I mean I knew exactly where we were headed…

Tune In Next Time!!!

That first picture is heartbreaking.

The marble doors are the worst things ever. I wish they would just take them away!

Big Baby is so scary!

I love the blue Monorail vinylmation!

I love the EPCOT Center one too.
