We loved it so much WE HAD TO GO BACK!!! A Spontaneous Spring Break Trip Update 7/20

That first picture is heartbreaking.

The marble doors are the worst things ever. I wish they would just take them away!

Big Baby is so scary!

I love the blue Monorail vinylmation!

I love the EPCOT Center one too.

UGH THE DOOORS :scared: :crazy2: :mic: haha that's all I have to say about that.

I always get stuck with Big Baby and I feel bad but I trade it as quickly as I can.

And the Madness Begins an Extreme Park Hoping Day
March 7, 2012

We really worked up an appetite with our Toy Story pals and since we had such a good time with them that morning we decided to get some lunch with them as well.

Yep we headed to get some delicious Disney pizza at Pizza Planet.

I got the veggie pizza a salad and a sprite

IMG_7043.jpg

mmmmmmmm was it good. Usually Andy and I split pizza so I always get stuck eating pepperoni pizza, which I do NOT like. Since I did such a good job not buying everything that came into my line of vision he let me get my own!!! Yay, what a big girl I am haha

He got just the pepperoni pizza, he isn’t a fan of the salad to begin with and it was cheaper he also got a water so that we could fill our bobble up, we knew we would need it where we were headed to next.

PIZZA

IMG_7044.jpg

Just as we sat down Bobby texted me saying that he was on his way over and to stay where we were so that he could find us. No problem, I would love to sit in this nice cool restaurant and stuff my face, take your time!!!

When he finally arrived Andy wasn’t feeling too well so he gave the remainder of his pizza to Bobby so he didn’t have to buy his own. Boy can Bobby put food away, he is like a vacuum cleaner. If you’re not going to eat it he will take it!!!

Before we had plans to meet up with Keirsten and Primo later and do some MAJOR park hoping. But of course since these were my last few hours in my favorite park we all know what I had to do… right?

TOWER OF TERROR!!! I hope you knew that. If not, well you know for next time.

On our way over to the love of my life we decided to stop and take some pictures with some of our favorite people

Angela Lansbury I JUST LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! *drooling*

IMG_7046.jpg

Andy was like “I don’t know these people… oh wait Bill Cosby”

IMG_7047.jpg

And of course the REAL love of my life (sorry Andy)

IMG_7048.jpg

Then Bobby decided to have a little fun

IMG_7049.jpg

We made our way to TOWER OF TERROR <3 and we were loaded into the room on the left side and I took a picture of this

IMG_7051.jpg

I really love looking around the Library there are so many neat things and I feel like people are in such a rush to race out they miss all the details. To that I say, chill out we are all going to make it on the ride. Take a breathe and smell the roses or in this case cobwebs and dust.

Another thing that people don’t know to look for are the “ghosts” in the elevator shafts during the drops. Depending on which set of elevators you choose to go to you can see the characters from the ride (my favorite being Sally Shine, for those of you who don’t know that’s the little girl). You have to look really closely, usually you can’t see them unless you are in the front row unless you REALLY know what you are looking for. They are on the very very end of certain floors that you stop at.

That’s not the best explanation but I would love to know if anyone else has ever seen them. This was the first time Bobby had seen them, I told him about them while we were waiting in line and he thought that I was lying to him AND THEN he saw them and this was his reaction

IMG_7052.jpg

He basically had a heart attack and I died laughing. Long story short look out for the ghosts!!! I like to go on the elevator that is all the way to the right because that’s the one with Sally shine so when you get to choose between going straight or to the right in the line choose the right!!! Such a good time.

From there we decided to go on Rock n’ Rollercoaster, Andy still wasn’t feeling well so he decided to sit this round out. We felt really bed because the line was 70 minutes and we didn’t want to make him sit in the sun alone for that long. Bobby told the person at the standby entrance that and they gave us immediate fastpasses!!! Score, Bobby actually did that a lot for us on this trip because he knows so many people there.

We were on and off the ride so fast it was crazy!!! It was hilarious because it was when we were seated that I realized how much Bobby hates this ride. He started mumbling things under his breath he was so nervous and on take off he just let it all go. SO MUCH YELLING haha

We found Andy, still not feeling Any better and made our way out of the park.

BUT FIRST

Some photo pass of course!!!

The Three Caballeros <3

This one makes me laugh

Stitch why you have no shadow like everyone else?!

This photo really makes me miss my long hair!!! After Little Women ended I needed a trim really badly because I basically wasn’t allowed to cut it since August being cast in the last two shows both semester (they have a strange power over your hair cutting ability when you are a theatre student) sadly that trim ruined into more of a chop and I went from having mermaid hair to having a shaggy dog doo.

Anyways back to Disney!!!

We left my beloved park and made our way to the bus stop to head over to my least favorite park Animal Kingdom where we were going to spend literally 30 seconds. Just as our bus arrived Keirsten and Primo said that they had just caught a bus from EPCOT to Animal Kingdom and would let me know when they got there.

We arrived at the sweatyiest place on the planet. I swear they crank the heat here it’s not even real!!!

Quick pic in front of the Tree of Life

f08152a0-a5b1-435b-8eb4-a00e017f312c.jpg

We went straight to Dinosaur to get fastpasses and then headed back over to meet Bobby’s friend Bobby at Expedition Everest.

IMG_7054.jpg

Then I got a text from Primo saying that they had arrived. We decided to meet up over at Festival of the Lion King. So we darted over to camp Minnie Mickey so that we could save seats for them because the show was starting soon.

I so badly wanted to sit in the Giraffe section but it was full, we ended up in the lion section a good second I suppose. We sat down and saved room for the other two slow pokes.

They arrived and the show started shortly after. Bobby freaked out because he had just seen it a week before and they had changed up some of the cast particularly this guy…

IMG_7059.jpg

He said that the one who sings Be Prepared was also different and not as good as the guy that he has just seen.

I love how much Keirsten and Primo enjoyed this show. Look at them being lions

IMG_7070.jpg

I have like a million photos of this show and I never get sick of looking at them
IMG_7064.jpg

The section I was longing to be in because I love giraffes SO MUCH

IMG_7068.jpg

But alas I was a lion, oh well that noise is easier to make haha

IMG_7072.jpg

Tumble Monkeys!!! They make me so nervous

IMG_7075.jpg

Of course I had to snag a picture of my favorite costume. Zebra girl!!!

IMG_7107.jpg

What a beautiful show

IMG_7109.jpg

In the circle… THE CIRCLE OF LIFE!!!

Tune In Next Time!!!

Walt is the love of my life too. My future boyfriend is going to have to accept that.

I love the details in Disney. I love to slow down and look at everything instead of rushing around to do everything.

I will have to look for the ghosts on ToT!

Festival of the Lion King is so awesome!

I’m going to check out your new tr now! Can’t wait to read it!

PLEASE DO I love trying to find them it's like the Disney version of where is waldo

Which of These Countries Do We Have to Visit to See Your Homeland?
March 7, 2012

After we left Camp Minnie Mickey singing and dancing we headed over to use these babies

IMG_7110.jpg

Now as I have mentioned in my previous report I am not the biggest fan of this ride. I will admit that I am kind of a chicken. BUT fortunately enough this time I was not the biggest baby in the group. Winner this time? Keirsten of course!!!

IMG_7111.jpg

When we got into the loading doc we tried to make Keirsten sit in the side that the giant T-Rex comes from (we loaded on the side where she would have been the last one to be seated) but she was onto out plot and literally pushed Primo out of the way and buckled herself in so that she couldn’t be forced to move. It was hilarious.

I think I officially got over my fear of this ride because I kept my eye open the entire time trying to get Keirsten to enjoy it. Poor girl had her head down and her ears covered the entire time.

After that thrilling ride we decided to hop in line to use these puppies which Bobby’s friend Bobby gave to us

IMG_7112.jpg

This one Keirsten was not taking ANY PART IN. We told her to get in line with us so that she didn’t have to wait alone forever while we got in line. I joked around with her once she got far enough in the line by saying that “I lied now that you got in line there is no way out and you have to ride” and let me tell you she was about ready to punch me in the face. I can still picture her terrified little face. Oh man, I am cruel what a trickster.

Very back of the car. SCORE.

IMG_7113.jpg

I love the back of the car because when you sit there and it gets to the backward part it makes you feel like you do a million loops. AHHHHH, so much love for the back seat. Bobby also added some fun by telling me to pick my feet up as you go backwards through the dark. CRAZY!!!

They were ready to ride, don’t let Primo’s face fool you this is one of his favorites. He just makes weird faces.

IMG_7114.jpg

Ride photo primo is obsessed with this picture his favorite is Andy’s face. He literally just kept saying look at this picture, it’s priceless. You be the judge

427074_10150741432663083_1850369686_n.jpg

While they searched for Keirsten after we got off I stopped at the bathroom and changed my headband apparently the white one as I recall was all stretched out so I put on a different one. If I recall I told Andy “I need to take a picture to check my hair” This is that picture haha

IMG_7115.jpg

We then headed out of the park first stopping at It’s Tough to be a Bug. Primo has a HUGE fear of spiders and by huge I mean almost irrational fear of spiders. In retaliation for making her ride Dinosaur Keirsten forced him to see ITTBAB.

I saw this sign and by sign I do mean sign from the Disney gods

IMG_7116.jpg

It was just calling me “Alicia…. Clair De Lune (at hoop dee doo) is your calling!!!” I can’t fight the Disney gods now can I?!

We grabbed our glasses and jeopardized our safety and the safety of those around us so that we could get a picture with them on. Whoops, sorry everyone.

I have NEVER seen two 20+ year olds freak out as much as Keirsten and Primo did when the spiders came out. Keirsten was literally curled up in a ball on the bench with her eyes and ears covered just because primo wasn’t watching. My goodness Disney wouldn’t actually let you get attacked by giant spiders guys!!!

From there we said goodbye to Animal Kingdom and jumped on a bus to Epcot to make our way to dinner for the night.

What a cute couple…

IMG_7118.jpg

I really dislike this picture of the two of us but it is what it is. DISNEY on our way to FOOD

IMG_7120.jpg

Derp ba derp

IMG_7121.jpg

Bobby got a message from his roommate John (yet another friend of ours from school) asking what he was up to and if he could come hang out with us. Sure the more the merrier. So Keirsten tried calling and changing the dinner reservation from 4 to 6 but they said the couldn’t do it over the phone…? So I told her we would head straight there as soon as we walked in and ask if we could change the number. Strange that they couldn’t do it over the phone, right?

As soon as we got off the bus and headed straight to our dining experience for that night and by headed right there I mean we stopped really quickly here to get Primo a beer

IMG_7122.jpg

As we strolled through the countries we began to talk about our heritage's and decided that if someone's family was from there we would spend a little bit of time in that country. Only problem was I have no idea where my mother's side of the family is from, I just know that my father's ancestors are from America obviously Native American's represent. So I texted Ma to ask her she gave me the long list which I don't really remember but I know we stopped at at least one of them throughout the night.

We then stopped here (Primo’s motherland as he calls it) to change the number of the reservation, they said no problem just come back in 20 minutes and we will be ready for you

425607_10150742672413083_819984991_n.jpg

GREAT, I knew exactly where I was heading from there. The place I wanted to visit in August after we got engaged but we didn’t end up staying in the park.

The heavenly angels sing and invite you to the site of my wedding ceremony *fingers crossed*

428372_10150742672583083_2142259989_n.jpg

I had to get my hands on the Grey Goose Lemon slush. I had red all about it on the Dis and couldn’t wait to ingest it’s perfection. As soon as Primo heard what it was he was all about trying one with me.

422644_10150709195435751_150531440_n.jpg

Slushi cold perfection in a glass!!! Yummmmm. It was totally worth the wait. We sipped and strolled our way over to the UK, which is where we played how many people can you cram in a phone booth. This is one of my favorite photos so much happiness in one tiny place

427568_10150709197305751_1183585518_n.jpg

Then we made our way back to dinner. On our way we saw Mary Poppins who I swear is mine and Keirsten’s friend from school her name is Kerisa and she was the 3rd out of the 4 March sister. At this point she was on a Spring Break Cruise with her mother so I took pictures of Mary Poppins to show her later.

We were seated just off the main room. Sad I really wanted a picture of the pizza ovens and never got it. All the more reason to visit again I suppose!!!

We sat down and looked over the menu. Bobby was in heaven, not that you can really tell from this picture, he was kind of taken off gaurd

423394_10150742680058083_622001514_n.jpg

Keirsten and Primo, this was originally a dinner for the two of them that they asked Andy and I to crash when they found out we got hopper passes and in return we had to bring Bobby because he was our third caballero and then he had to bring his roommate John!!! Pictured here

424812_10150742680218083_511200629_n.jpg

John was in entertainment and “was friends with” SO MANY of the big characters he was specifically Goofy’s best friend he told us all about his time over dinner it was so much fun. He told us how he was just beginning his training for parades and he later ended up in the Main Street Electrical Parade in the Cinderella scene.

And last but not least Andy and I

430756_10150742680303083_844150481_n.jpg

Just before this I was having a mini heart attack because I had dropped my iphone on the cement floor. I died a little on the inside because the screen shattered a little but it was really tiny in the upper left corner. I couldn’t believe it happened when I had a case on it. I was almost in tears I had never dropped it before. Oh well, it stayed broken for a while until I dropped it last month and the screen was shot so I paid to replace it.

ANYWAYS, I vowed to always have a little something against Italy because it killed my phone. I think it’s important to take note of how quickly I bounced back from sadness… Disney is Magic I tell ya.

The reason that I can’t hold a grudge against Italy walked into the room a few seconds later, no not a cute waiter, a delicious pizza!!! Yep, food is more important then men haha

But really, this pizza… a gift from the heavens (and boy do those God’s charge. $20+ for a small pizza? Only in Disney). Let me just say they are lucky this is so delicious. MMMMMM I got a plain pizza with roasted red peppers on it. I AM OBSESSED with red peppers. I don’t know why or when it started but I could eat them all day everyday and never get sick of them

IMG_7125.jpg

The pizza was delicious, perfect bit of smoky taste, great sauce and even better crust. I realize that it doesn’t look like much from the picture but man it was gone in probably 10 minutes I kid you not.

Andy and I thought about splitting but he wanted pepperoni so he got his own. We had done really good at not spending any money up until this point so we figured why not splurge the last night.

His pepperoni

IMG_7124.jpg

The other three got some sort of pasta dishes but everyone was SO hungry that they scarffed everything down to quickly to take any pictures.

After a delicious meal we headed over to Mine and Andy’s pavilion to ride Mine, Andy and Bobby’s ride with out new shirts on. Represent!!!

IMG_7126.jpg

When we went to get in line one of the cast members noticed our shirts and told us how much he loved them.

The Three Caballeros <3

Tune In Next Time!!!

I hate Dinosaur. It’s one of my least favorite rides in Disney.

I love Everest and I would love to sit in the back one time!

I feel so bad for Keirsten on ITTBAB! Well it is a scary show.

I LOVE the picture of all of you in the phone booth!

The pizza is SOSOSOSO good at Via Napoli.

The pizza was sooooooo good. When I am doing the DCP I definitly know where I am going to go on pay day haha.

Love the matching Three Caballeros shirts! When my daughter was 4 she fell IN LOVE with that ride so she picked that out (the green one like you!) and the smallest size was still huge on her so she still wears it now that she's 5 and a half. One time we were at Epcot, my son was really sick so I stayed with him, and my husband and daughter did that ride over and over together and met Fiesta Donald. She still talks about how fun that day was and is obsessed with the whole Mexico Pavillion :)

Where did you get that beaded monorail bracelet? Looove it.

I love that!!! What a perfect story, I love hearing other people's Disney memories, they just bring a tear to my eye. I'm sure your daughter will remember that forever. I love that she loves the Mexico Pavilion because I do too!!!

My dad actually made them for me and my siblings, he gave it to me the night before we left. I got the idea from a bracelet on Etsy which can be found here...

Beaded Monorail Bracelet

It's The Time of Your Life
March 7, 2012

When I last left off we were just about to get on our boat ride, yes that’s right, The Three Caballeros were actually here to ride their ride and the Cast Members there could not be more proud, they LOVED our shirts.

I mean who can blame them, how can you not love these guys?!?

IMG_7129.jpg

I love that they sell these now. Andy and I always debate buying him, he is just so cute. One of these days!!!

IMG_7134.jpg

We sing and we samba. We shout AYE CARUMBA!!! What means aye carumba? I just love them so much and I love that the green shirt was a child size and was the only one who would fir in it because Jose has always been my favorite

IMG_7136.jpg

After we got off the Mexican fiesta we decided to go and find a place to it for Illuminations (usually I skip it but everyone else wanted to see it so we did)

We made our way over to the bridge near France and we scoped out a good spot and plopped a squat

I decided that I needed to go to MouseGears and get a cup that I just HAD TO HAVE, Bobby offered to run with me so he could get me a discount on it. When we left Primo and John decided to go get fish and chips from the UK to snack on. Poor Keirsten and Andy were left alone to defend our territory.

On our walk Bobby and I had a real heart to heart about his experience and how he missed his family but that the DCP was the best thing that he ever could have done for himself. He said “It’s an experience unlike any other and you have no idea who you truly are until you move away from home and are forced to survive without anyone you really know.” He told me that even though it would be hard for Andy and I to be away from each other for 6 months it was going to be the best experience of my life and I wouldn’t regret it for a second. What a great guy.

We made it to MouseGears after running basically half of the world showcase plus some but it was all worth it because I had this in my hand

IMG_7184.jpg

It’s a monorail coffee mug that says Please Stand Clear of My Coffee. I thought it was perfect and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I used it all the time at school and it made my day a little more magical.

We ran back and made it with about 10 minutes to spare. So everyone feast on fish and chips (except me because I don’t eat fish).

IMG_7137.jpg

While we were sitting there had been a HUGE group of high school kids let onto the Rue de Paris (otherwise known as the French Island Arm) they seemed to have some sort of formal that they had just come from and they were having a dessert party down on the landing. I joked with everyone and said “that’s going to be me in a few years!!!” I have my wedding all planned out and an Illuminations fireworks dessert party at that exact location is how the night ends.

We debated sneaking in a getting some snack but they were checking for wristbands so that was a no go.

Before we knew it BEAUTIFUL fireworks and AMAZING music surrounded us. I am obsessed with this specific music selection it’s my alarm clock sound and it just gets me so pumped to get out of bed.

IMG_7148.jpg

About halfway through a mother asked me if her son could stand in front of my up against the railing to get a better view and I said of course!!! This was the CUTEST family you have ever seen. The most well behaved children I just couldn’t get over how perfect they were.

IMG_7151.jpg

The little boy turned around to his mother and just kept saying “My mom is the best, she got me the best seat the whole house!!!” “Mom I bet no one has a better view than I do” He literally just melted my heart. At one point his mother told him to quiet down because she thought he was bugging me. I told her no please let him talk, I love it. This was something that this bright eyed kid was going to remember forever.

IMG_7154.jpg

The finale started and this child’s eye were SO BIG and he couldn’t stop saying how amazed he was and thanking his parents for everything and for bringing him here. I literally cried, just openly bawled my eyes out. I don’t know if it’s because it was my last night in Disney or because I can remember being the little boys age and loving every minute of being with my family or if it was because I can’t wait to have kids of my own and help them to create those memories but let me tell you I CRIED FOREVER. Andy kind of laughed and then he realized how much Disney really does mean to me, he hugged me and said “don’t worry you’ll be back before you know it!!!” I think it was a bittersweet time for Andy because at that point he thought I wouldn’t be back until I had to leave him for 6 months.

We begrudgingly left the park and on the way out I just kept saying “Are you sure we have to leave?” “Can’t we just stay a little longer?” “Please don’t make me go home” I was giving my best sad eyes and everything, but they were no use.

We decided that the night wasn’t over yet. We still had to do ALL of our shopping for the family so off to Downtown Disney it was!!!

We decided to take the bus to Saratoga Springs and get off at the Congress Park stop, from staying there in August we knew that that was better than going back to our resort and getting a bus over to DTD.

On our walk to the bus stop I got a text message from one of my best friends at school saying that she got her acceptance letter to Grad school in Austin Texas. She had applied the same day that I applied for the DCP and we were both dying to hear back and She finally had!!! I knew she would get in she is THE PERFECT student. She ended up being one of 5 to be accepted and is they youngest person to ever be accepted into the program. I was so proud of her!!! It was crazy to think though how everyone I knew was moving to all different parts of the country after we graduated.

Anyways, we made out way to the bus stop and after a little waiting we were on our way to Saratoga Springs!!! When we pulled up I told Keirsten to close her eyes because I knew this would be one that she would LOVE to stay at. As soon as she saw the giant resorts and the peaceful grounds all light up she was sold, she looked at Primo and said I need to stay here!!! I couldn’t blame her the place is perfect and I couldn’t believe I was lucky enough to say I’ve stayed there.

We got off the bus ant congress park and Primo and Keirsten were so tired and their feet hurt so bad they just kept asking how far away it was. I walked them to the path and they couldn’t believe that DTD is literally RIGHT THERE.

They trudged along while I stopped to get a picture of the grand villa we stayed in in August to send home to Sam. It was literally the BEST room we have ever stayed in a far cry from where I would be going back to sleep that night. It was 2 floors of pure perfection. Ugh I would give anything to be a Disney princess and stay there again!!!

429928_10151352555090507_2064263244_n.jpg

We got to the Marketplace and Keirsten and Primo said they were too tired so they automatically got on a bus home. Poor Disney newbie’s can’t handle my non stop action.

First thing we did was go and spend all of our money. We did such a good job saving it the whole time I thought we were going to make it back with a little to spare. We were lucky that Bobby was there to use his discount, this is where having a LARGE family can be such a hassle.

After we shopped we stopped decided to go to Ghirardelli. Bobby got a discount there as well so we figured why not. Andy didn’t want anything. I got a mint chocolate chip in a waffle cone

IMG_7164.jpg

Bobby got a hot chocolate that he didn’t finish, he told me that it was because whenever his mom was there they would away get it and split it. John got some sort of ice cream sundae.

Before we knew it they had to get back to the bus stop because their last bus ran at 11:30 and they didn’t want to get stranded.

We said our tearful goodbyes. Bobby and I walked away from one another knowing that we wouldn’t be seeing each other either for a long time or a long long time. We glanced back at each other as we walked away and started to tear up. He text me when he got to the bus and said he missed me, I thanked him for everything and said I couldn’t wait to see him again.

Andy and I did a little more wandering and then we headed back to NOT TOY STORY. Even though it wasn’t Toy Story it was still pretty nice. Just look at how nice and light up it is at night.

IMG_7165.jpg

We made it back safe and sound

IMG_7166.jpg

Back to the room for the last night of our trip not a very happy experience…

IMG_7167.jpg

We packed up out suitcases and made sure that everything was set and ready to go for tomorrow. The room was nice and clean so I figured I’d get a few more pictures

IMG_7171.jpg

Sadness, all ready to leave

IMG_7172.jpg

IMG_7174.jpg

I loved the way mouskeeping would rearrange my stuffed animals everyday

IMG_7175.jpg

IMG_7177.jpg

From there we checked out all our purchases from that night to make sure that we had something for everyone.

Bobby bought Andy and I these shirts because he thought they were made for us

IMG_7179.jpg

Andy’s dad basically financed the trip for us so we bought him this sweater

IMG_7186.jpg

My family is OBSESSED with these things, we have been getting them since our first trip down so that’s what we always bring back for each other.

IMG_7187.jpg

We got Danielle and Adam these key chains, mainly because I didn’t know what to get them

IMG_7191.jpg

We got Andy’s sister this magnet, which I ended up loving so much I bought on my most recent trip down

IMG_7193.jpg

I always have a problem remembering what years we actually went to Disney so I decided to start a new tradition and get a magnet with the year so I never forget. This was the 2012 one we picked out.

IMG_7210.jpg

We finished packing up everything and then we turned in for the night. A little sad but excited because we still had a full day ahead of us.

Tune In Next Time!!!

I am in LOVE with the monorail cup you got. It is so awesome!

That little boy sounds SO cute! Why do little kids have to be so adorable?

Mmmm ice cream!

The last night in Disney is so heartbreaking.

The shirts Bobby got you and Andy are perfect for you guys!

Where did you get that cup? My DH said he WANTS one since he is part of the unofficial monorail fan club.

Oh my gosh, I just realized I'm just over 2 weeks away from our trip. I need to start packing!

I am in LOVE with the monorail cup you got. It is so awesome!

That little boy sounds SO cute! Why do little kids have to be so adorable?

Mmmm ice cream!

He was precious, I want to have perfect little Disney loving children just like him!!!

The ice cream was so good, even if it was basically winter out. i am one of those people who can eat ice cream whenever.

I was crying EVERY WHERE I was so sad.

Thanks :goodvibes We love them so much and wear them literally all the time haha

I got the cup at MouseGears in EPCOT. I think it was under $15 without the discount and as far as I know they still had it when we were there last month. I hope you are able to find it.

Two weeks away so exciting!!! i just realized a month ago tonight we would have been getting ready to leave for our most recent trip. My how time flys. Enjoy your trip!!!

Last Disney Day, No Need to Fret
March 8, 2012

The next morning we were in no rush to wake up I believe we slept in until about 8 or 8:30.

We woke up showered and packed everything that was left out from the night before.

Andy went to the door and he found these…

IMG_7214.jpg

It’s a sad day when these guys are hanging on your door knob. They were the bill which we had no outstanding payments for so I’m not sure why they wasted the paper, our Magical Express passes and our Airline Boarding passes. Wah wah waaaaaaahhhhh…

Andy went outside and photographed the window clings that we brought with us to decorate.

IMG_7212.jpg

We bought them right after valentines day at a local grocery store for a dollar what’s not to love?!

IMG_7213.jpg

We had a few hours until we had to be checked out of the room so we decided to go and check out the resort.

First up NOT TOY STORY (aka our section for the trip 101 Dalmations)

Right outside our door there was this little tv which you could stand behind and take pictures.

Look I’m on TV!!!

IMG_7215.jpg

This is a very typical Alicia pose

IMG_7216.jpg

We stayed in the Pongo building so I told Andy to get his picture with him. I kept telling him “move just a little bit closer” he didn’t understand why until I showed him the picture and told him how I tried to get Pongo’s paw on his head

IMG_7217.jpg

Perdita, what a lady.

IMG_7218.jpg

Directly next to 101 Dalmations was Fantasia. I think I took this photo for proximity. We would head to Fantasia just not right at this minute. We HAD to check out Toy Story

IMG_7219.jpg

Outside the food court they had an outside seating area, so cute it was shaped like a film reel. Disney I tell ya… you and those details, they get me EVERY TIME!!!

IMG_7221.jpg

Across from the outside eatery was this little playground, sorry we didn’t venture into the jungle to get more pictures we were on a mission.

IMG_7220.jpg

We walked a little further on and we came across R.C. Andy has always wanted to be a racecar driver, get in Andy!!!

IMG_7222.jpg

Obviously it’s not made for the bigger kids, my knees came up to my chin haha

IMG_7223.jpg

We made our way to the Toy Story section. Andy just let himself in, obviously it was ok, it was his room!!!

IMG_7225.jpg

First things first, I had to get my picture with Bo Peep <3333

IMG_7226.jpg

She is perfect and I love her and I feel that she is totally underrated. Sam kept joking with me before we left and saying that “The took Bo Peep down, no one likes her” or “they took her down because she needs to be repainted”. Luckily she was there!!! I snapped this picture and sent it to Sam, she was kind of right Bo Peep was looking a little faded.

We continued

IMG_7227.jpg

Woody!!!

IMG_7228.jpg

IMG_7231.jpg

Buzz, he is GIANT.

IMG_7229.jpg

IMG_7232.jpg

On top of the buildings were the little green army men.

IMG_7230.jpg

We made our way out of the Toy Story section, a little bit happy that we didn’t stay there because it seemed detached from the rest of the resort.

Next we headed over to Fantasia to check out the pool

IMG_7233.jpg

The pool is giant and really centrally located so that’s always nice. The other pool (Mighty Ducks which we never made it to) was on the other side of Dalmatians and to me it was just very out of the way.

IMG_7234.jpg

Sorcerer Mickey!!! The colors in the section are so rich and vibrant, perfect Disney colors

IMG_7235.jpg

We decided we would try going in the pool a little later when the sun came out.

Tune In Next Time!!!

I love the idea of Photopass pictures, but to be honest, we didn't have my luck with the actual PP pictures. We have never bought them and decided that if anything, we'd always have the picture they took for us on our own camera! It's nice to not have vacation pics that aren't just one-handed shots, haha.

Love the Streetmosphere characters! They pulled Howard out for a matchmaker game too! It was HILARIOUS, and I have it all recorded. The characters are awesome; we actually looked them up and found them on Facebook! Anyway, I'll be posting the video on my Disneymoon TR when I get up to our DHS day.

Prime Time entices me so much, but I think I'm way too chicken to go in there with just Howard, haha. It might be fun with a bigger group of friends, but I'd be way too nervous to eat because I wouldn't wanna get picked on, and then that would mean I'd get picked on!!! Haha, I don't mind watching OTHER people get picked on though ...

HAHA, the steaming your eye picture is awesome. I would've thought he'd give you the water and like, a towel or something as a hot compress?

L-O-V-E your DIY headbands! You should scout eBay for more ears and make some to sell yourself! I think you could make yourself some nice cash that way. I don't like the headbands from WDW (even though I always try them on!) because they have such a weird fit on my large noggin' haha. The headbands you used seem like they'd be such a better fit. Plus, they're unique and super pretty!!!

It would be so cool if you could have your wedding ceremony in Mexico! Even if you can't, you should totally have your reception meal there!

The lanterns part of the Magic, Memories, and You is one of the best parts! My other favorite part is the rocket ship that blasts off because the first time I saw it, I gasped out loud!

I don't plan on ever riding RnR because I can't do coasters like I used to do, but I am so eager to know what that marble door sound is just cuz you've mentioned it twice already!

I love the Mickey and Minnie window clings! I think it'd be fun to decorate a window one of these days. I didn't think I'd ever want to stay on property again (my parents have a timeshare in Kissimmee), but I would love to stay at Art of Animation! My DH loves Cars, so I think it'd be the perfect spot!

Airline boarding passes + Magical Express = :(

I love your window clings! They are adorable!

You guys look great in your shirts.

I love the photo of Pongo’s paw on Andy’s head. That’s awesome!

I hate that they always end up being either one handed shots or solo pictures.I think that's the best part about photopass it that they will take one on their classy camera incase you want like legitimate photos but they will also take them on your camera as well. In my opinion they charge an outrageous amount for photos, especially if you just run like we do the last thing we want to waste time doing is standing in photopass lines and I'm not paying $90+ for the 15 pictures we actually had taken.

Haha the Hollywood Match Maker Game is my favorite!!! I can't wait to see your video I'm sure it was hilarious. In my free time I go on youtube and watch other people's videos from their trips.

I think the best part about 50's Prime Time is that the waiters are really good about picking out who wants to play and who wants to observe. In the experiences I have had there at least. The first time my mother was really crabby so they kind of steered clear of us, the second time My father was really into it they got a little more involved and this time I wanted to make the most of it so they were really coming for us haha. A lot of it also has to do with the waiter you end up with it's a really fun time and it's even better with a bigger group.

I though about making the ears for people who wanted them because they were super easy and actually really fun to make. Maybe once I get back from Florida and find myself in need of money that's what I'll do :rotfl2: I totally agree, I'm not the biggest fan of the hand bands they sell in the park my head is to big and they always just slip back/off.

I wish I could have our ceremony there, I have heard that Disney can be pretty lenient with where they let people host receptions/parties and there won't be many of us when we do get around to it. The more I think about it the more I think it can't hurt to ask. I would love to get married on the steps right outside!!!

The rocket was Primo's favorite part!!! That's the first time he literally just yelled "How is this happening?!" it was so funny. That entire so is just amazing and genius.

I looked for a video on youtube of the marble doors so that I could show you the irritating sounds but there wasn't one. Next time I ride I will definitely take a video of them so that you can experience the sound. I feel so bad fo the people who work in there. I don't know how they handle it :confused3

The AOA looks BEAUTIFUL I think it's definitely worth the venture to stay on property to stay there haha.

SO SAD :sad1:

Andy almost threw the window clings out when we left I said "Umm.. no no, pack those back up they are coming home with us!!!" :rotfl:

We LOVE the shirts they are made our of the softest cotton ever.

Haha thanks, it took a little adjusting but we got it ectnutally!!!

I thought that as soon as I posted the picture!!! The best part was that they both made the same face and had no idea that the other was going to do it :rotfl:

I was debating between a Fantasmic dessert party and an Illuminations one, but the viewing spots for illuminations are just so much better. Not to mention illuminations usually doesn't get rained out as often and it's every night. So I think that's our plan.

This child was literally PERFECT, he was exactly who I needed to meet my last night in Disney.

Emily A her and her soon to be husband move to Texas the same day I move to Disney. I was SO proud of her, youngest ever to be accepted and one of only 5 accepted. It was her dream school so I was screaming for her when I found out.
