We love Donald Duck, oh yes we do! - Link to the PTR - COMPLETE

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandmother, Brook. I was very close to my mom's mom as well, we lost her 3 years ago this month, I still get teary when I think about it. I completely understand how you are feeling right now, you and your grandma are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hopefully they can control her heart rate with medicine and she can avoid surgery all together. If it makes you feel better, DHs mom had an irregular heartbeat and she had to have a 'minor' surgery to correct it. She is aging and extreamly overweight, and we were concerned about her having surgery, but she came through with no issues and is doing really well.

For you and your grandma!

I love that you got such a great room! What a view!

I got exactly what you did at WPE. My review was the same. Meh! I was disappointed. The brownie from there was excellent!

Brook, I am so sorry for your grandmother! I hope she will feel much better soon.

THANK YOU EVERYONE! I didn't except hardly anyone would see my note and I'm overwhelmed with your kind words! :grouphug:

I'm a REALLY hard sleeper, but this morning, I vaguely heard my cell phone ringing, but I wasn't coherent enough to get it. Then the house phone rang and Joe picked that up - I could hear my Mom's voice on the other end so I shot out of bed and grabbed the phone right from Joe's hand.

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!
They changed my Grandma's medicine which is now making her heart pump normally and SHE WAS RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL! :yay::yay::yay:

I instantly started to cry and cry. It's such a huge relief.

Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone! :grouphug:

I just saw your first post about your grandmother, then saw the update!:cool1: I am so happy for you that she was released! I guess all of the Disers prayers and thoughts were just the pixie dust she needed!:goodvibes

Oh Brook, you've had quite the emotional roller coaster the last 24 hours but it is all turning out ok. I am so glad! :)

Hi Brook! I'm attempting to catch up on my DISing and started to read about your grandmother. I was just about to offer my well wishes and have now seen your update where she has been released. YAY! I will still keep her in my prayers that she continue on the road to feeling well!

Now, off to read up on your adventures.........

Ok, I'm back and all caught up. Hope I didn't miss anything!

First of all - BRATS!!!:cloud9: Boy did that bring back memories. I worked with someone in NYC who was from Wisconsin. Went out to Summerfest one year and enjoyed those babies just about every day. His dad would simmer them in beer and onions first before putting them on the grill. YUM!

Those pix of Henry at the pool are so cute. We never did get a pool day at SSR - weather just didn't cooperate while we were there.

And great score on your room location. That view is gorgeous - must have been even better at night. We were located on the other end of the building - very pretty. And loved the closeness to DTD!:thumbsup2

Just read your update about your grandma, i read the bad and good news within seconds of each other, really pleased to hear that everything worked out well xx
