I love the pictures of Henry so mesmerized by his light up Mickey! I thought I had seen every one of those things, but I don't ever remember seeing that one - very cool!
Your nighttime pictures of MK are SPECTACULAR! I love the one of the carousel with the castle all lit up behind it, and the one of the beautiful light fixture, and the train station ones too - well, all of them!
That particular light up toy had to be a new one - so many CMs commented on how cool it was and I'm sure they see everything over and over.
Thank you on the picture comments!

I really like the pic with the carousel and the castle too.
Great updates!! And fantastic pics, Brook! Can I ask what kind of camera you use? It really takes some beautiful pictures (or maybe it's you that is the talented one and I'm giving your silly camera all the credit?

)!! Love the night time shots at MK and the shots around SSR are amazing!!!
Does Henry having any lactose issues? Or is he usually fine with them at home? just a thought.....hope it didn't last your whole vacation?
Btw, loved the "family" pic of you guys in the elevator!! Too funny!! And cute!
Thank you! We have a Canon XSI, it's a very nice camera (digital SLR), and while Joe and I both have a love of photography and a couple basic courses under our belts, the camera does have a LOT to do with it.
Henry did not have any lactose issues - that is what was so strange about it all to me - it was ONLY when we gave him milk products. He is a HUGE dairy boy too, milk, cheese and yogurt are his faves. It was really stressing to me, I didn't include this, but I tried to reach my Peditrican that day (without success) to talk to her - but more details on all that coming up!
We like to take silly family pics like that, in the reflection of things - we are total dorks!
Yay! I'm glad you have down time at work so you can keep posting!
The resort photos looks so quiet and peaceful, no one around! I have to say it is still strange to see coats and hats at Disney! We have only been there in warm/hot weather but I'll take it! Anything to be at Disney, right?!
Work is so strangely quiet the past few days. I keep wondering if it's the calm before the storm!
SSR is very quiet and peaceful - very relaxing. In a way I loved that about it. Yes, anything to be at Disney! We said fairly often we'd rather be wearing hats and mittens in Disney World, rather than just be stuck at home!
I'm loving your pictures

And I know spending that $15 was a good idea, especially if it makes Henry happy
Thank you! Joe and I are both shutter happy.

That $15 was money well, well spent!
I hope you don't mind new readers! I just read each update in one sitting. Your son is adorable!

And I know it was cold. I'm from MN and if we say it's cold, it's cold! We know our winter weather.
Those EoS sandwiches look devine. I would have ordered the same as you. Yum!
Welcome! New readers are always welcome! Thanks for joining along in the fun.
Oh, yes, you understand what cold truly is!

The week before we went was that wicked cold snap, -29! Ick! It was cold in Disney, but still above zero.
EoS was super yummy!
Wow... lots of great updates. Henry is just too cute. Thanks for all the pictures, fun to look at places I have not seen (SSR) and place I have stayed (POFQ). BTW POFQ and Riverside dont always share buses... especially at MK.
That Mickey hat is cute... I want to get our little guy a cute hat from WDW this summer.
Ah, that is good to hear about the buses. I suppose for MK there would be NO way people at the last stop would ever get on! Makes sense.
Did you like POFQ? I thought it was really beautiful from the bit we did see!
There are LOTS of cute little kid Mickey hats - one that I really, really, really wanted to get Henry is coming up in a few updates. I tried to get him to leave it on so many times throughout our trip, but it was a no go. I guess I should be thankful, he saved us money!
I'm loving all the resort pictures! Way to take the time to just wander... a perk of having DVC I suppose - you know you'll always be back!
Your EoS pictures are making me drool all over the keyboard. Those sandwiches are soooooooooooo good. In fact, out of the blue about 2-3 months after our trip, Junior was wondering when he could go back and have one of their Italian sandwiches (he nibbled a bit off of DH's). And this is a big deal - Junior doesn't like most meat so for him to request a meat sandwich is HUGE! It's on our must-do list for August!
I see a pattern forming with Henry and ducks! Is he Donald's #1 fan?
Oh, and your talk of beignets is making me drool too... I just spent the last week in New Orleans for a work conference. I consumed my life-time consumption of powdered sugar during that time on top of beignets!! It was a highlight of my trip, walking to Cafe Du Monde with friends in the morning to feast on those little buggers! My waist line is thankful I'm back home!
You ate at Cafe Du Monde!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so so so very jealous! Oh gosh, did you sit outside too? I saw it on TV once (Food Network) and just thought how lovely it all seemed, beignets, some coffee - ah!!
Yes, it really was nice to wander around and resort hop! Joe espeically loved it.
That is really great about Junior wanting the meat sandwich! I can totally understand why, drool city man. That place really was incredible. I read that there is a plan to open this place as a chain all around the U.S. I think Minnesota should be their next choice!
And yep, I do believe, after this trip, Henry is Donald's #1 fan!
