And I haven't told DD6 yet.

I was thinking of having her hang a stocking Wed night and having the tickets in them when she gets up Thursday morning, but then I thought she might figure out it was me and not St. Nick

Should I just not tell her until we are in the car on the way to the airport?

Will she be disappointed she didn't get to help pack at all? My DD is 6 also and she loves to pick which clothes she'll wear, so if it was me, I would tell her that morning.

Have fun!!!!!

Nah, she's not a packer and as long as I bring some dresses it will be fine. We need to leave the house at 5 30 am.

we leave thurs too and need to get up about 4am. I have not yet told our girls- i think i will wait until we are at the airport. Until then, they can think that i have a business trip.

I love the fact that the trip is a surprise! That's awesome. Have fun! We just got back last week and I'm already missing it.

We did this with my DS in April. woke him up at 5 am. We had made him a golden envelope, like the ones they had in the commercials with the balloons coming out. our balloons were paper, of course. My son was speechless, which was pretty amazing for him! Have a great time, and get pictures of her face! It will be priceless!! Surprises are the best!

i did this last year with my DS5 and DD6. I told them that Daddy was going away on business and we had to give him a ride to the airport. When we got there I had them get out of the car to say goodbye to Daddy. When they got out, I had their suitcases there with Disney T-shirts hanging from them. They were speechless. It was awesome! If you've waited this long, I wouldn't ell her until you get to the airport, otherwise she'll never get to sleep the night before.

After 3 hours at Urgent Care and the drugstore for an ear infection she just got - i ALMOST told her....

How about having Santa leave her a letter about the surprise he has in store for her....or maybe having Mickey send her an invite to join him. I love the surprise!! You rock!

i posted above that my girls do not know- but this weekend i did have mickey send her a letter inviting her to come celebrate her birthday with him and his friends. She was so excited to get a card in the mail- she turned the card over and wrote her response on the back. "me and my family are coming Mickey Mouse" Her birthday isnt until the 14th so a trip on the 4th will be a complete suprise.
