thats too bad it was raining. on my trip last september, we were waiting on main street for spectromagic to start and it started to rain. i was so worried that it woud be cancelled, but right as the parade started it stopped raining, like magic!
i cant wait to read more!

You must try the corndog nuggets, they are quite delicious.
I would have been worried that the parade would have been cancelled too, or truthfully I probably would have been headed back to the room.
Okay, not only were you at the Magic Kingdom on your first night drinking in a view of the castle, but it was decorated for Halloween! The most perfect time of the year at Disney, in my opinion!

Boo to the rain, BTMRR being shut down, and not being able to find a park bag, but hurray for seeing Hall of Presidents and Mickey's Philharmagic!

Magic Kingdom is quite nice being decorated for Halloween.
We got a lot done for 2 hours and despite the rain I think.
I have a really hard time eating slow when in public. It is a struggle...keep reading.

Well good for you for not letting the rain, rain on your parade! I am sure getting back to the resort and relaxing was a good idea. Sometimes it is really obvious that this is the best plan -- Can't wait to hear about your rope drop!

YAY for first night at MK!! I'm glad it didn't rain the whole night and you were able to really enjoy your time at the park. MK at night is one of my MOST favorite sites at Disney!

It usually makes me cranky too but I think I was on that first day high so it didn't bother me too much.

Corndogs were one of my very favorite things growing up. They are a comfort food.

It was a good night, we had fun. It's probably not a major rule but not something he should have done!
They used to be all beef, but the food gurus have just about ruined everything there, so now I'm not even sure. Sad. In fact, "all-beef" used to be all over ALL their signs, but they weren't there on the 4th, so who knows now...???

Marc really liked his shrimp lo mein! He said it was his favorite CS meal of the trip.

for dealing with your Mom about the baby thing. U-G-H. You have time, plenty of it! Enjoy being child-free while you are. PM Extra Magic Hours? They don't exist in my world at this point due to a certain little one! I get a wee bit jealous every time I read about them in a TR and gaze at the pretty night pictures.
