We go May 1-8, Extra hour, have I missed something?

From what I have read the trial period is 9-22nd of May.

Disney-Kim:

The current EMH schedule will still be in effect for your trip. Each day one park will open an hour earlier than the posted park opening. Only guests staying at WDW resorts can enter during this hour. The schedule is:

Sunday - Magic Kingdom
Monday - Animal Kingdom
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios
Wednesday - Epcot
Thursday - Magic Kingdom
Friday - Animal Kingdom
Saturday - Disney-MGM Studios


Beginning May 9th, WDW will begin testing a schedule that features additional hours either in the morning OR at night. You will miss this trial period.

Hey, if you're that disappointed, you could always push your trip back by a week.
