I missed my 20 days countdown mark...so, I guess I'll have to settle for the 19 day mark!
party: party: 19 DAYS UNTIL WE ARE IN FOR OUR FILL OF MAGIC party: party:

over the weekend Gwendolyn decided her and Joe would share a room with Dayne and Luke. So, I checked with everyone again this morning, spoke to my mom and mentioned I was calling to cancel the third room. She said NOTHING! so half hour later I am on the phone with the CM working on the rooms (I was getting antsy with the way she was doing it...but, good think she did it that way!) my mom calls while I'm on the phone w/reservations...well of course I do not answer it --that would have been rude:rolleyes1. So, she calls my cell...well I was holding while the changes were being made...its mom saying NOT to cancel the room her and daddy has decided to join us!

so, as of the moment --waiting for them to come over and pay me for their room and tickets...to join us on our Magical Adventure...

Dayne is thrilled...
Danny said OOOoooo boy!!!
and Gwendolyn said she wasn't coming--because Nana was going to hog all Ashton's attention :lmao:
and I'm just going do my own thing let them all know what me and Ashton plan to do for the day and they can join us or go do their own thing...:thumbsup2

NO STRESS!!! on this vacay...I'm going to the land of magic pixiedust: and plan to keep it that way :rotfl2: :rotfl:

been working on our posters for our rooms with the park hours, fireworks, parade times... and my daily itinerary cards.

:woohoo: Ya'll have 19 DAYS left :woohoo:. I know ya'll are going to have so much fun with everybody going. How are ya'll going to get down there now? I can't remember if you posted how many cars ya'll are taking or not. You can pack extra stuff if you have 3 cars and not have to worry about picking up stuff once you get there.

WOW! Lots of family! That will be fun! I like planning around Ashton b/c hey, he is the kid :thumbsup2

Post a picture of your posters. I love that idea and would like to steal it for my trip in December. That way, I wont get phone calls all morning asking when the park opens

a few Easter pics...

I did not notice the bottle opener when I picked those up; but, it was the first thing Dayne noticed!--LOL
funny story with the Corona products...my mom gave Dayne a shirt when he was 15 from Cancun and I would only let him wear it at night or in the yard. I said he could not wear products type clothing until he was 18...my mom's first words..."he is not 18 yet!"

If mom & dad go they will be driving their minivan (so, Dayne, Luke, Gwendolyn & Joe will ride with them)...Danny, Ashton & I are going in our car; if my parents do not go the four will be riding in Gwendolyn's car (so two vehicles either way)

WOW! Lots of family! That will be fun! I like planning around Ashton b/c hey, he is the kid :thumbsup2

I'll post pics tomorrow (maybe tonight--depends on Ashton) and yes, this trip is for Ashton...the problem has already started of mom wanting to be with Ashton 24/7 (she is going to have to accept that is not reasonable before she leaves :rolleyes1 )

I hope you had a wonderful Easter!!! And it is almost trip time for you guys! How exciting!!!!
:yay: :yay: 19 days! we had a wonderful Easter; I will stop by your PTR later to check out your families Easter...but, it was a fun one!

Great pics Connie! Congrats on having more family join you as well. :goodvibes

Ashton's chocolate bunny is as big as he is. :lmao: Love it!!

I made a poster for each room...not the greatest (few mistakes) but, they will get the idea!
cards are mine w/ADR # for each day

So much to catch up on! Yay for no surgery! Yay for more family coming. looks like a fun Easter!! 19 days!!!

Oh Connie, I hope the mess with your aunt gets straightened out. What a horrible situation to be put through.

Dayne is so lucky that he did need surgery!

:cool1: for being paid off (well, your part). I cannot believe you have less than 20 days left to go!!

Oh boy questions (you know I love them): Character Sightings:

EP: Mulan in China! The only place I know to see her so it is a must do. She is my favorite animated character, so I was ecstatic we were able to meet her last time. DD loves the movies too so I hope we can see her again.

other than that, we did a hit or miss running into characters. I am looking forward to meeting lots more this go around.

How exciting to be chosen for the what will you Celebrate In-home Celebration!! I am looking forward to seeing the pictures from it!

Wow, big changes with your parents coming along for the ride!!

Happy Easter! :flower: I sure hope you had a great day--tfs the pictures!!

great idea for the posters and itinerary cards. I am doing a "Where in the World will Lilian Be?" for everyone so they know the plans. :thumbsup2:

GREAT idea with the poster! Thanks for posting a pic, I am def. using it for our December trip!

:yay:

Gwendolyn just saw the poster on the table...low and behold it is the first non crazy thing I have made...:rotfl: she was actually excited and studying it!

So, we are back to just a party of "7"...Daddy and I kinda sorta talked Mom out of joining us! :confused3

Here, is the thing, mom fell out of a two story window when she was 16 and crushed her spine...well, beyond miracles (because of her age at the time she was told) she can walk. Well, fast forward 43 years later and extremely over weight...she has a very hard time walking for long periods of time. Not, only that but she does not listen :rotfl2: she was going to rent an EVC but had already insisted (although she was told no each time she brought it us) how Ashton did not need a stroller he would ride with her:scared1::eek::headache::mad:...

So, I emailed Daddy the cost sheet and our itinerary so he would see what our plans were. He said it would be fine if my mom would be ok with going back to the resort and resting during the day. But, she said she was staying with us...well, Gwendolyn was very upset with this and said she was not going because she said that by the second day both my dad and I would be moody with her trying to keep up with us and not behaving like an adult with the safety of Ashton in mind. Not only that my dad does not like man made attractions...so, he would be getting tired of the way my mom would be acting and he would start with off the wall non-necessary comments...see where this is going :rolleyes1:

So, she agreed today that this is not her kind of vacation any longer  I hate that she can not hang in there with us...she loves Disney. so, Gwendolyn and Danny are very happy this afternoon and I'm in the middle. I know they would enjoy seeing the magic through Ashton's eyes the way they did with Gwendolyn & Dayne. But, at the same time happy not to have the added stress that goes along with extended family joining.

So, I told Danny that when we do return for Christmas (in a few years) hopefully she will be able to join us and we can do a laid back tour of the parks and Ashton will be old enough that we won't have to worry about the EVC.

so here is what I ended up with:
UG is saying our week will consist of 7 & 6's (everyone must have read that this is suppose to be a super slow week, like we did and decided to join us :lmao: )

Saturday April 24: we drive; we still plan to leave in the wee hours of the morning...hoping Ashton will respond better to the ride this way

upon arrival we plan to hang out at the pool, hit DTD (we have an ARD for T-Rex haven't decided if we are going to keep it or CX it)...I would also like to end the evening by resort hopping at the monorail and WL resorts to take a looksee around.

Sunday Apr 25
this is going to be our Magic Kingdom day!
we have Crystal Palace ADR's (this is the other one we are thinking of CX'ing)

Monday Apr 26
we plan to start our day at
Animal Kingdom w/Donald's Safari Breakfast
and end our day in Hollywood Studios for EMH (Ashton loved the Playhouse Dance Party last year)

Tuesday Apr 27
I would like to start at Epcot and hit a few of the Future World attractions
and we plan to end our evening at Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic!

Wednesday Apr 28

EPCOT!! We plan to spend all day here and hop over to MK for spectromagic and wishes to complete our time here!

Thur and Friday we head over to US/IOA

Next up cleaning of the closets to make way for summer and Disney packing! that is my plans for tomorrow--Gwendolyn is taking Ashton to the movies!

Everything looks great Connie! I'm getting so excited. All of the PTRs I am following are either on their trips now on going very soon. YAY for 18 days left.

Wow...Mom and Dad were in and out before I had a chance to post! It is sad that your mom can't join you and enjoy it, but maybe it's a good thing this time. A laid back trip at Christmas sounds like just the ticket!

Love the poster idea! With older kids and separate rooms, it should help keep everyone organized! At least that's the plan, right! :rolleyes1

Your plans look great! Crowd levels of 7s and 6s are completely do-able. With a good touring plan you should have no problem hitting all of your must-dos!

It's getting so close!!   I'm so excited for you! (and the closer you get, the closer I get!! :thumbsup2)

Wow, that was a fast change. :goodvibes I think you are right though, a laid back trip in December or late November would probably suit your Mom better. That should be a really good excuse to plan a trip in about two years right??;)

Your plan for your trip looks really good Connie! I'm getting excited for you. You all will have so much fun. I can't think of a better way to celebrate a graduation myself. Good luck on getting the closets cleaned. I'm taking a break at the moment but will get back at it in a few minutes. Have a wonderful day my friend!!

I have a wonderfully quiet house at the moment. Gwendolyn brought Ashton to see "How to train your Dragon"...so, I though I would tackle the task of changing our reservations from three rooms to two...
well, thank goodness for very nice CM's it took 45 mins WOW!
but, he was able to transfer the credit I had on my room to Gwendolyn's room which means that POP is PAID IN FULL! :yay:
what a task; they really need a better computer system to handle things he had a hard time understanding what I was doing due the fact that I had two ressies and three rooms would have been a whole lot easier with three ressies...

and did I mention that Dayne's Sr picture order arrived today! :yay: I was nervous that I ordered them too late!

Yes, I know that was a quick back out...she has been trying to decide if she wanted to join us. But, with my Aunt's situation one of us should be here since we are the ones working with her. and, her physical condition is not the best for a full week like that...

Everything looks great Connie! I'm getting so excited. All of the PTRs I am following are either on their trips now on going very soon. YAY for 18 days left.
I can't wait; I'm at the point where I want is to be at Disney...it is starting to drag now...first it was flying by but the closer it gets:rolleyes1 and next week should be fun due to a split in the testing schedule Dayne has off of school three days next week; I hope he goes to work those days and does not try to go down the river with friends (I hate when they do that)

Hopefully the UG CC is wrong :) I hope you are able to do all that you want. I know that having the ability to park hop, is nice too so if you run into unbelievable crowds you can switch parks to get something do at a different one. :goodvibes

What a great idea to make a poster with all of the times for the week :thumbsup2 That will be so helpful, I'm sure - especially with a larger group! :goodvibes Love it!

Great minds think alike 'cause you just took the words out of my mouth!

Looks like we will be in Epcot at the same time! We're hoping that our flight will be on time and Magical Express and check-in process will go smoothly and we can get to the park in time for lunch! :cool1:
