well just recently we were trying to figure out if we could swing a May trip...but, as said in the past too much going on with Dayne's graduation and a trip to plan for...so, we are back planning the Nov 26- Dec 5. Where we stay depends on who plans to travel with us. I think we are down to CBR and POP! we were thinking one room at POR and decided that two rooms at the POP would be more comfortable for all.

Your dates are the ones we're looking at, too--right after Thanksgiving!! Just have to nail it down!! I'm hoping for a deal, too!! I even thought about booking witha Bounceback offer when we're there in May--that's 40% off!! So we'll see what ends up being the best deal!! I can't WAIT to go for Christmas!!

No, I have not read up on my PTR's in a few days...I stopped by last night to start and Danny needed to order a dog collar...than only shopped, he just called and told me to go on ahead and order the collar...MEN!

I can't wait to see it all done up for the holidays!! WDW, esp. MK is so magical so to see it all lit up ...I can't wait...

That sounds like alot of fun! I've never traveled with just my kids...gone on a few with the girls, and with Danny but never just me and my children...sounds like a blast (I keep saying just me and Ashton are going to hit Disney w/o Danny )

I just ordered my copy of "Sleeping Beauty" and "101 dalmations" before they go back in the vault! But, I was sent a message I wanted to share...

it said they are starting pre ordering for ......

"The Princess and the Frog" starting Feb 9...so, my guess is it will be out on DVD/Bluray for Easter...
if so I know what's going to be in a few Easter baskets this year!!!!

The first Mardi Gras parade here is Saturday on Dauphin Island, I don't know if I want to take Dallas to that or go catch up on my shopping. We really need to go to Sam's club and restock our freezers.

Believe it or not! we don't really do Mardi Gras any more. When we lived on the southshore we did all the Metairie parades...when we moved to the northshore we went to the Mandeville parades two years and our kids said they didn't want to go the year after, so we stopped! Dayne has gone to a few with friends but not many and Gwendolyn cannot stand parades

I wanted to take Ashton to the Little Raschals parade in Metairie but I bet I missed it already I need to pull up the parade schedule. Guess Danny and I need to get ourselved back into Mardi Gras and take Ashton...maybe!

EDIT: just checked the schedule Little Rascals is the same Sunday we are planning to go to BR; need maybe the following Sunday if the weather is pretty.

I know what you mean. Dallas is 11 and he has never been to a Mardi Gras parade. The parade Saturday is a small parade, but it will be fun. I have a friend that rides in the parade so she will throw Dallas a lot of stuff.
Matt's parents invited us to go to the Mystic's of Time ball on Feb 13th, but I have to work that weekend. The MOT's is one of the biggest parades because it is also when they have the Coronation of the Queen to King Felix III (Mobile Convention Center).

A little extreme! Also, it seemed like more and more people were drinking and getting rowdy. Not my cup of tea. So, we just stay at home or go out to eat since the restaurants aren't usually busy 'cause people are at the parade.

we normally watch it on television and Danny just enjoys his day off Dayne has signed up to work that day this year.

not much going on over here...Danny was reading on the internet last night about the disney discounts and I told him that was the special I was trying to talk him into going in May on. But, didn't get anything out of him other than that...guess I'm not going to change him mind!

I would like to ask that everyone who prays keep a dear friend in your prayers...
