I'm still wondering why it's on the Travel Channel. *Yawn* there's nothing travel-worthy about watching a poker game.
There are also announcers for billiards - that's another one that bo-ring to watch.

Anyway...I think the silliest sport...check that...the sport that proves that the world is headed for hell is...competitive eating...you know, where the "athletes" try to eat as much as they can in a certain time...while the announcers crow about these guys as if they are real athletes...only in America could some people starve while others make a sport out of gluttony....

Oh well...just my $0.02...

Higgs wins -- the fact that those idgets inhaling hot dogs (or pickles, oysters, etc., etc.) actually call it a "sport" is ridicluous.

Golf, on the other hand -- I like watching! (Must have something with being a golfer? )

This is a totally selfish plea for those who are my friends - I am scheduled to fly out early Wednesday morning to join JW in Florida - but Claudette is bearing down on us. She's scheduled to hit late Tuesday/early Wednesday, but it's still up in the air as to where in Texas exactly she will hit. The forecasters keep crossing their fingers that she will turn and head towards Brownsville/Corpus Christi, but right now she is headed straight towards Galveston.
Now, normally if I'm simply going on holiday and something like this happens, it's no big deal because holidays can always be rescheduled. But this time, as some of you know, is a little different. There's an agenda, business to be conducted, and hopefully a job to be secured.
So, cross fingers, toes, legs, and eyes for me that Claudette won't be a female dog and keep my flight from taking off. Like I said, this is a selfish plea, but at least I'm man enough to admit it.

Ok - time to use the brains of the WDWWDS (Zeus help us). A local Toronto radio show has hidden somewhere in the world an all-new 2004 Mazda6. A sports sedan that is more sport than sedan. Advanced engineering, inspired performance, comfort and design. You can win one by correctly identifying where in the world it is hidden. It's definitely not in Disneyland, CA - as some twit guessed that this morning and she was wrong.

If you help me win it - I promise to take you for a ride in it. Here are the clues to its secret location thus far:

1. Travel thousands of K’s; go pretty far. Fly there first, then take a car.

2. Lady Liberty can’t see it; nor can Mona Lisa. Don’t go to the country, with the Tower of Pisa.

3. This Mazda 6, is made to order. And parked a few hours, from a national border.

4. Near some mountains, don’t need the name. Athletes don’t go there, to play in a game.

5. It can’t be seen from space; it’s not that big. You don’t need to climb, you don’t need to dig.

6. The Indy cars, are not in this place. Neither here nor there, applies in this case.

7. South of the Pole, North of the Equator, Will help you find it, sooner or later.

8. The first four places, cannot help you here. It’s not hidden near them, that much is clear.

9. Not on water, not in the sticks: Two clues to help you, now go find the 6.

Anyone have any educated guesses as to where it is?!?

Las Vegas.

You know, there is a downside to visiting WDW very often. (I know, it's hard to believe). You see, if you go a bunch, but then not for a while, you start to suffer from withdrawls. The more often you go, the quicker they set it too. And the more often you go, the 'more' you need - a trip to the Disney store just doesn't cut it after a while.

I need a disney fix.
