What's the problem Steve? Are you a little jealous of a WINNING team?

M....LOL....who's in third place and falling??? Hmmmmmm? I don't think I need to sit down :)

And Steve...I like your style....I agree with you \...but substitute Sox for Tribe...:)

Ahem...like the Jays??? :p

Down with the Braves. Booo. Hissss.
BTW - since Mr. Piazza's unfortunate injury, my Mets have been - ahem - sucking big time. But I'm man enough to admit it. At least JW's Astros aren't doing too bad, if not for being somewhat inconsistent. And speaking of - the game we went to last week was great - they actually won and the fireworks afterward were far more spectacular than I thought they would be. And no mascots/oversized meat products were beaten.

AP - have you forgotten the fact that my Yank's are beating every team that matters? ;)

Spoken like a true Sox fan. Every year, Sox fans say this at the All Star Break. However, around Mid-August, they start looking toward next year.

And before you go bashing me, I am a Sox fan. I grew up going to Fenway (and always thought it'd be great if they put seats on the monstah). Love Fenway, Nomah, Pedro and Trot. However, I'm also a realist. History, as it pertains to the BoSox, will always be doomed to repeat itself. :(

Hell yeah (I'm not too proud to say so! :p ) If they're not "your team" and they're winning all the time -- it's pretty much automatic that you hate 'em! :teeth:

It's wierd, but I'm actually kind of enjoying watching this season with the Tribe -- rebuilding is pretty painful, but when you see the talent that comes out of young players (that the GM kept talking and talking about), it's kind of cool.

Of course, all that means is when they become All-Stars, a team like the Yankees will throw loads of cash at them and it's Bye, Bye talent!

Ok....now I finally realize what your problem is. You're a Mets fan. Splains everything. Sorry...I usually don't pick on the mentally incapacitated. :teeth:

Yeah - well my team is the Jays...so I feel your pain - but I still love the Yanks...

Boooo! A Jays fan who like the Yanks! Oh the Humanity :p

And ITSA...let me have my All Star break optimism...PLLEEEEEAAAAASSSEEE:) It's all we Sox fans have....

Then what is all this talk about a new stadium in Boston? Are they not building one now, I thought the were?

As for Yanks/Sox/Jays - it is still early and a whole second half to play - ANYTHING can happen, trust me I know. Remember the 1987 Jay - up by 7 gamers over the Tigers with 7 to got - Detroit in Toronto out:( OUCH.

Hate or love the Yanks and the Sox, I love the history that each team brings.

Now Steve, let me try something: Tony Fernandez:rolleyes:

Boss...the old owners released plans to build a new park right next door...but then they sold the team, and those plans have gone away...no word on any new plans...looks like we're stuck with Fenway for a while...:)

I know...that's like being a Maple Leafs fan that likes the Devils. ;)

Don't I know. I've wanted the Sox to make the series for the past 15 years now......:(

Ok them's fightin' words ;) Meet me in the pit woman and I'll have to teach you about rootin' for a team like the Yanks. Given Toronto's decline to third place, I guess I can't blame you for seeking out another team.

Last time I checked, Javy Lopez was voted into the All Star Game, and has 23 HR's and 52 RBI's. He ain't doin too bad this year :teeth:

Nice guy to have for a year until they signed Robbie Alomar. :)

Yep, you MUST be a Jays fan (a deluded one, but a fan nonetheless). :p :p
