1. The Polynesian!!!!

Like I've said so many times, we used to always stay there when we were younger. I love the location of the resort, the grounds are so pretty and it's just got a great atmosphere. We all love the Poly so much. If I could have any Disney dream, it would be for them to make DVC villas there because I know that's the only way we'd ever add on more points. So let's go, Disney, where's the DVC at the Polynesian?![/FONT][/COLOR]

My dh company finally booked our plane tickets today for Feb. I told my dh I wanted to leave Wednesday afternoon, so we can get to Florida around supper time and not late at nite, and we have a 1:30 flight out, ya!!! And we don't fly home till Sunday afternoon. We have Friday nite, till Sunday afternoon, and a pin # burning in my computer. I don't want to stay at the boardwalk, because it is ESPN weekend, yuck. I'm thinking the Poly, Contemporary, Caribbean Beach Resort or Wilderness Lodge. I need to make up my mind soon.
Plus we just found out our oldest dd may be working in Florida for a few weeks, so we may end up driving down to the Keys after all to see her, or she may have to go to Haiti.
Ya think I hijacked your pre-trip, and I should start my own again?

Well, out of those choices I'd say either the Wilderness Lodge or the Polynesian (surprise surprise!). The Contemporary would be cool too but as I said in my August TR I like the theming of some of the other resorts better. I saw a commercial for ESPN the Weekend and was wondering if that was around the time you were going.

Yes, you should start a new PTR.

Well, today is a depressing day. My parents and sister are off to Disney World. I just got off the phone with my dad and they were just pulling out of Port Orleans and on their way to the Boardwalk. I called my other sister and we are both so bad, saying how we're so jealous and how we want to go too...atleast we have each other to commiserate with. haha!

But I'm trying to look on the bright side of things. There are two good things that come out of their trip:

1.) When they get home that means our April trip will be getting closer. I just noticed that my slider is past the halfway point in my ticker!

2.) When they come home the 11-month window for DVC will be open so we'll be able to make reservations for December. That might end up being a sisters only trip since Dad is going to try to convince Mom to go earlier in Dec. to see the decorations/go to MVMCP. So we will see what happens...I'll keep ya posted once we decide what's going on.

Anyways, now that they're on their trip I'm starting to think about what I want to do when April rolls around. I finished reading The Hidden Magic book and am going through it again, compiling all of the things I want to look for. That should be fun.

I also wanted to share some of my scrapbook pages...I FINALLY finished my scrapbook from Dec. '08 This isn't even all of it, just some of my favorite pages. Enjoy!

The cover...I used a spiral-bound album which I don't think I will do again. I like the ones with the page protectors better.

A pocket page to keep all the stuff from MVMCP!

I guess it's something to continuously work on when I'm feeling that post-Disney and post-TR sadness! I like that you included a good amount of text on your pages too; I think pictures require good captions!

Hang in there while your parents and sister are there. You can live vicariously through them, at no cost. I'm sure they'll let you know what they are doing. It is hard to imagine how pretty it is in Orlando when it is so gray here today.
Your scrapbook pages are so cute, I love the striped paper on the boardwalk page. It's also neat that you have a folder to hold the papers from the MVMCP. It is fun to look at those, isn't it?

That is true, it is fun to work on it over time. Sometimes I just get into ruts where I'll do a whole bunch of pages but then it'll just sit there for months because I have no idea what to do.

Oh yes, they've already called twice to tell us what they're up to. I am particularly jealous of their Boardwalk view room. That must be awesome!

Thanks for the compliment on the scrapbook pages. That striped paper was actually double-sided, so the box I did the journaling on (with the dots) was the back of it.

Yeah, I could have gone but since we took a bunch of trips last year (not all Disney) I missed a lot of school. It was one of the perks of being a substitute teacher but I didn't want to do that again. April will be here before I know it.

haha, glad I'm not the only one like that! I tend to get all these great ideas but then never finish them. I still have a couple other scrapbooking projects that I seem to have abandoned...

I know that both my sisters were talking about it and they thought it would be fun. Emma and I want to go in December...we just have to see what Claire decides about going again. I say by that time it'll have been almost a year since she was last there! But yes, I think if it was just the 3 of us it would be pretty cool just because we've never done a trip like that. We'll have to see how it all shakes out and who wants to go.

Cute scrapbook! I love the cover! I am still working on one from 2006. Digital cameras really messed me up...I couldn't decide whether to get prints made of our digital shots, (we had film pictures, too) and include them all together or just make one regular and one digital scrapbook. I finally just ordered them from snapfish a couple weeks ago...totally forgetting that I'd already done one with the film pictures! That's how long it had been since I'd worked on it...Now I need some refill pages. After I finish that one it's 2007, 2008 & 2009!
