WDW through an 8-month-old’s eyes &10m &13m &16m...New 10/30!

Cute pictures! Annie most definitely does NOT look happy haha.

Does Remy have a schedule? We have reservations at Chefs too and I haven't looked into it much. I love Ratatouille.

I don't think Test Track is supposed to be done until November :( I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an Epcot anniversary soft opening though.

Wow! Such cute dresses for Aria! It makes me want to have a girl someday so that I can get cute outfits!

Your plans are wonderful so far! I can't believe how big Aria is already-- can't wait to see what clothes she fits into on the trip! Hopefully she can wear that cute Zebra outfit at AK!

I'm excited that you are doing the photo shoot! I was just looking at this and considering doing it myself. Maybe the mini shoot. Did you book the full shoot or the mini?

I've never been to Chefs de France. How is it? I booked Via Napoli on our EPCOT day after hearing how much Khertz loves it.

Love the dress you got for Aria. So pretty. When again are you going in December? I keep forgetting! LOL sorry I keep asking. We just decided to extend our trip till the 22nd. I can't wait!

And yay for crawling!!! Mobility is a whole new ball game haha!

It has been forever since I posted but I am still here. I love the idea of getting a photo shoot at Poly. Maybe I will look into that for our trip in December. I think I agree with your picture outfit ideas. You and DH in similar solid shirts and khakis and put Aria in a cute coordinating print dress. If on the beach I'm drawn to white and khaki and maybe a white dress on Aria.

You are making me rethink my cancellation at Coral Reef. We decided to go to Ohana for breakfast instead. I know lo would love to see all the fish but if we were to get seated really far from the tank I would be disappointed since that would be our entire reason for booking there. I suppose we will stick to yet another character meal lol.

I absolutely love the Aurora dress. I really hope she is able to fit it by the time your trip comes. I was disappointed that all of the clothes I bought for lo to wear this summer are just now starting to fit. The one advantage to this is that he will likely be able to wear all of his 12month clothes when he is 15 months and on our trip.

Hi! No problemo, thanks for posting!! I love the idea of white/khaki, but we did that at Cape Cod for DH's parent's Christmas photo so I want to do something else since I'm hoping that we get our family christmas photo out of this photo shoot!

I love Coral Reef and am excited to return! I ate there for the first time with my mom back in 2000, and we were seated right next to the tank. Then with DH if memory serves we were up a level. But it was still fantastic! OF course, now with Aria I would LOVE to get a table right at the tank bc she wouldn't even need any toys to sit through the meal!

I'm running into the same clothing issue. Aria has an entire drawer of 6-9 month clothes that are still way too big. She is 6.5 months now and I bet they will fit by Disney, probably, but she is still wearing 3-6m. Which is making me a bit worried about her HUGE 18m summer clothing stash I have going! ;)

I'm SORRY you weren't able to get the Sweet Seats!! I am very thankful I was able to get what I was looking for. The Sweet Seats are actually the second thing I booked. The first is the Grand Marnier event which I had heard was smaller and would sell out sooner but I have yet to hear if it is indeed sold out or not.

But Alas. We will be at the same event! Maybe we will run into each other!

I recommend getting something to eat a few hours before hand. You want to have room for the desserts but also want to not become sugar overloaded by way to much sweet stuff! I am planning Biergarten at 3pm. Hoping that is enough space and we aren't too full!! Maybe we will try and get in early!

Yeah IDK how that happened. I am still so bummed about it. What was weird is the cast member didn't really seem to know what I was asking for. I actually called back and got a different cast member, who also didn't really know, but both said they couldn't "find it in their system" so that sucked!

It'd be wonderful to meet up! I'm sure it'll be a hectic night but it would still be fun to say a passing hello!! :goodvibes or watch the 3D Illuminations show together!

I heard they also have a few "savory" options at the party, so I'm excited it won't ALL be desserts - yes sugar overload! I don't expect to eat TOO much from the booths- if you saw my F&W booths post, there really isn't much to eat for me anyway besides drinks & dessert haha.

LOL! Nope. It's awful because seriously Annie is Aria's favorite thing EVER. Like, she lights up whenever Annie walks into the room. If Annie barks, Aria is just so happy. But Annie really has no interest in Aria whatsoever, and gets up and moves when Aria makes her way over to her! :rotfl2: Poor thing! It hasn't deterred Aria from trying though!

It looks like Remy comes at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 and 5:20. So our 12pm ADR should be perfect!

Ok thanks for hte TT info, I hadn't had a chance to look into it yet. That stinks, but oh well!

Wow! Such cute dresses for Aria! It makes me want to have a girl someday so that I can get cute outfits!

Hehehe I'm really enjoying buying things for her. It's gotten me into a bit of trouble with DH but oh well. It's fun! I bet she'll still fit in the zebra outfit! It's just 49 days away now... :cool1:

I'm excited that you are doing the photo shoot! I was just looking at this and considering doing it myself. Maybe the mini shoot. Did you book the full shoot or the mini?

I've never been to Chefs de France. How is it? I booked Via Napoli on our EPCOT day after hearing how much Khertz loves it.

And yay for crawling!!! Mobility is a whole new ball game haha!

We're doing the mini! $150 including the CD of images, so I really hope they turn out well. I want a really good family photo, and then a bunch of Aria solo. Thankfully she is sitting great so we should get some cute shots of her in the sand. Though she may try to crawl off...we'll see.

I haven't been to Chefs! Never eaten in the France pavilion at all! So I'm really excited about that. We loved Via Napoli, too! I am working on visiting every WDW restaurant so most of our repeat meals are from our "MUST DO EVERY TRIP" list! haha. Except for the December trip, which is ALL brand new restaurants (to us).

We are going December 7-10. I wish we could extend it to longer so we'd be there at the same time!

Mobility is interesting. Last night cooking she was crawlnig around the kitchen floor. Then while we were making a sauce and not paying attention, she made it to the large dog water bowl which looks like:

61Y4EOlboJL._SL1126_.jpg

And was playing with the water coming out. Hmmm. That could have been really bad. So IDK what to do about that! LOL!

I think your plans sound great, breakfast looks yummy and I do love Chefs for lunch!

We did a photoshoot at the poly back in 2010 and I thought it turned out OK. There were nine of us, so that probably limited the locations, but here is a link to few of our pics to give you some more ideas. I think its is a good idea you planned it for 4 pm, we did 10 am, and oh boy were we sweaty by the end of it! It was WAY too hot, so please ignore the healthy 'glow' we are all sporting ;)

Thank you! I knew I had seen them in some trip reports! The pics are wonderful, my favorite is the one with the castle in the background. I'd post it here but don't wanna post your pics haha. Did you happen to take any of just Everett? Probably not with the big group you had. It was just the 20 minute photo shoot? You got a lot of great shots! I bet it'll be pretty warm at 4 still but hopefully just in the 80's...though we'll see! We will plan to change into fresh clothes before the photo shoot so at least that should help a bit to feel cooler!

Okay so I finally got all caught up! The plans still look great. Okay so I finally got all caught up! The plans still look great. We were talking about trying Chefs de France, mostly because DH was excited about the possibility of "meeting" Remy! :rotfl: But then he asked which ADR we were replacing, and well...I can't do that! Maybe next year... I'm sure Aria will get a kick out of Remy.

The photoshoot sounds so fun. I think blue would really pop against the white sand. :thumbsup2

Aria looks like she is swimming in that princess dress! How awful would it be if you had to plan a 2013 trip so she could wear it? Just torture! :lmao:

Yeah that's why Chefs kept getting kicked out of the ADR list until now, there are just too many awesome restaurants to try or REvisit, but I'm really trying to get to "new" places so it finally made it in.

I'm excited about the photoshoot!! Blue should work. They suggest no green due to Poly's lush greenery, and for a gender neutral color DH will wear I think blue it is.

LOL! Yes it would be a shame to HAVE to plan a trip in 2013...still working on DH for that one though!

I told my hubby last week that we DID NOT have reservations in France. He was not happy as we love French food. However I HAD reservations at Bistro de Paris that were canceled due to the renovation and Chefs just wasn't that great a meal last time so I don't want to replace any of our others! The one to replace would be Biergarten and I just love me some german food so don't want to do it lol!

Yeah I totally forgot about Bistro, guess we'll have to add that to our 2013 trip whenever that may be! Biergarten...should be interesting...LOL! I know DH will love it at least. :goodvibes

I've been reading along, but haven't had a chance to respond until now. Love all the updates on Aria and so many cute outfits! We are wanting to do that mini photo shoot at the Poly when we go, so I'm excited to see how yours turns out!

I specifically wanted to comment on your F&W stuff, since we were there in 2010 and 2011 (comments in red):

I'm sure you'll have a great time wandering the booths!

You're so awesome! Thank you for the comments! I will have DH try that Argentinian beef for sure, and will skip that coconut one! The others looks like I picked out some good ones for us! :goodvibes I appreciate you taking the time to look over that! :goodvibes

I completely missed that you had posted all the F&W booths you planned to try! It would probably be easier for me to say which food items I DON't think we will try lol!!

I completely missed that you had posted all the F&W booths you planned to try! It would probably be easier for me to say which food items I DON't think we will try lol!!

HAHA! If our trip were mainly for the F&W events, then I'd probably make an *effort* to try, or at least get DH to try, everything! But alas it is not! Focus will not be on the booths, but I DO want to enjoy some things! :goodvibes

QUICK UPDATE for anyone who has been dealing with/noticed the CRAZINESS that the disney phone lines have been today!! BE OUR GUEST reservations opened this morning at 7 AM. Of course, I tried for an hour with only busy signals before having to enter a cell phone free zone for FOUR HOURS for a secret meeting at work. ENTER DH - you might (probably not but there you go) be wondering, hey what is Lauren doing at work - it's a MONDAY!? Nope, I was not supposed to work ANY monday during 2012. But alas the best laid plans...and DH is home with Aria today. Thankfully he was, because I set him to the task of getting the reservations! AND HE GOT THEM! YAY! He got through fairly quickly (don't ask how, I STILL can't get through, only busy signals), but was on hold for 1 HOUR 40 MINUTES! WOW

So we are all set for 4:30 on 12/8! Which is awesome bc apparently it is totally booked solid from opening (late Nov) through mid-December.

Cancelled my Boatwrights (that was a no brainer!!) and moved up my WCC lunch ADR to 11:45, so I AM SO EXCITED! :cool1: What timing for our December trip, huh!

Congrats on getting the reservation!!

Did you talk to someone to get the reservation or did he do it automated? I heard that if you did it automated you need to call back and add your CC to the reservation. If your credit card isn't on the reservation at midnight tonight the reservation will be cancelled!!

Thanks! LUCKILY I told DH to hit "0" and then "1" (Yes, I'm in the Orlando area currently LOL) to bypass all the prompts, which kept him out of the automated system. I guess that's where people were having issues. He did talk to someone, and gave a CC guarantee. And yes, I did call yesterday afternoon to confirm bc I didn't trust him fully LOL. :rotfl2: But we should be all set for the early dinner!

That's great that you got Be Our Guest! :cool1: Can't wait to hear about it!

Thank you!! I can't wait for it! This mini trip in December is gearing up to be AWESOME!

Personally I'd rather eat at boatwrights but congrats on getting the ADR! I hope it's worth it :thumbsup2
