WDW fashion patrol

When I was young, we would go to Kings Dominion in VA, and there was evidently a fashion craze that I totally missed. I remember seeing several young men with these particular t-shirts on.

Now upon first sight, these appeared to be average t-shirts with pictures all over them, until you looked closer and realized the pictures were all pairs of cartoon frogs or monkeys or some other drawn animal engaging in all sorts of "positions"...and yes, I do mean "that kind" of position. Who is the world would ever walk into a store, see a T-shirt covered in "porno frogs" and think, "Now, I gotta have THAT shirt,"?

I love to people watch, but I don't do it to see what people are wearing or what they look like, I watch to see what they're doing. I love to watch toddlers dancing to real or imagined music , or playing in fountain/magic water sidewalks. I love to watch children eating ice cream. I love to watch adults destress and enjoy themselves or stress out and go commando touring. I love to watch Seniors holding hands, taking in everything, moving slow and relaxed etc. I love to people watch at WDW, the Jersey shore and the mall, my favorite places to relax and just watch a bunch of very fortunate people enjoy the little things in life.

You could also call that an outside wedgie.

But don't these people feel their shorts way up their butt?

In the defense of the people whose short ride up on the inside, I sometimes have that problem. It is not because my short are too small. I am not a small person, nor a huge one. I like to wear knit shorts. I buy them plenty big. I don't know why they do it, but sometimes they just ride up. It's funny. One time a pair will do it. The next time I wear the same pair, it won't. I've never really figured it out. Is it frustrating? Yes, but I'm not sure what to do about it. Sorry, I just felt the need to defend those of us with creeping shorts!

That remindes me. We were at Blizzard Beach standing in line for the tram. Behind us were two nice looking teenage girls in bikini's. Behind them were three gentlemen about, oh, late 30's-early 40's. From their conversation is seemed they were in town for some convention and were just blowing off the day. It was hilarious to look at one of then always stealing looks at the two teenage girls behind us. My wife and I could not keep from laughing as this guy would try to "casually" look at these two girls. They busted him once or twice, but he never gave up.

We love to watch men try to "casually" look at women. Even better is to watch women look at women. The looks they can give other women! (Uh! Can you BELEIVE what she is wearing? The nerve!!") Priceless!

At Hershey, no one looked that weird and everyone seemed really friendly. They did have a sign up posting no swimsuits, and proper attire must be worn, etc.

I think that people watching is fun too.

But the real question I have is that if women can wear bikini tops around the parks, can men wear speedos?

We just got back today, did a lot of people watching, saw more than we wanted. At Epcot we were behind a girl of maybe 17 who was a bit over weight wearing white shorts of a very thin material, she also had on flowered underware that was to small. We also saw a lot of younger girls that had wore clothes that were to tight or to short. I don't need to see the stomach hanging over the shorts. A big thing at the pool (akl) was older men wearing tiny bath suites. eww

There's a secret for us men when it comes to watching other women and I will share it with y'all.

You don't need to look at every pretty woman you see which will increase your chances of getting caught.

The reason?

Because there will more pretty woman coming along later and you can look at those!!

Disney is the BEST place to people watch!

The one that did it for me last trip was the woman (not a young girl or teenager) who wore shorts and a bikini top - to Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast!

Well, if that's the case then do you think it would be ok for a young man who is tan and very muscular to walk around WDW in a t-shirt and speedo, or how about shorts and no shirt? I don't think it's a matter of how 'good' a person looks so much as it's a matter of couth (sp?.) You are in a public place that is not a water park. Be respectful of others. Same reason stores have signs that say 'no shirt, no shoes, no service.' It's not sanitary.

Some of the outfits are jawdroppers. It certainly makes standing in line more entertaining.

I love the women in full make-up, big poufy sprayed hair and high heeled pointy shoes. My kids are always like -- Mooom, how do they walk in those shoes??!!

Yes we all buy new sneakers and socks, sorry it's a Disney rule. We also look at everyone else's new sneakers. If you saw how wicked my kids shoes look after one week, you would know why. They are embarrassing!

Last Thanksgiving my daughters were flabbergasted (as was I) when a 10-12 year old girl from a big family stripped naked at Typhoon Lagoon right in the middle of all the lounge chairs. Ten minutes later a parent gave her a towel to wrap in until she decided to get dressed. Next, a developed teen girl stripped and took her time drying off and dressing. Obviously, they weren't from the US. Since I have daughters, I was counting my blessings that the sons didn't follow suit!!!!!!! Obviously, we're a pretty conservative family!

Maybe you are mistaking sports bras for bikini tops?

You need to ask the clothes police? Do they actually have security guys following people around to see if anything falls out?
