And then Tyler begged me to clean tonight (the living room and his bedroom). I told him my body is so tired, and promised him we'll definitely clean tomorrow after we go buy his school supplies. Tyler's in cahoots with my mom, trying to kill me.

His parents named him Kenneth Vincent and just called him Vincent... his confirmation name was John so he thought his name was Vincent John until he went to go to college and needed his birth certificate and he went to get it and they didn't have the name registered but they did have a Kenneth born on the same day...

I also have Adam and Eve for grandparents... (but one on each side of the family...)

My dad's name is Charles Austin - but everyone in his family calls him Jim.

The story is my grandmother wanted a Jim and my grandfather wanted a jr so they comprised and named him jr but called him Jim. His younger brother is Kenneth.

Well, I'm feeling pretty proud of myself! I spent over 3 hours in the front yard working. I mowed (which only takes about 15 minutes in my front yard) and then worked on weeds on the side of my house and 1/2 of the front of my house. On the side of the house, there were literally TREES growing where they're not supposed to! 2 of them were all the way up to the roof. So that was work, getting those cut little by little until I could dig up the roots. Then I weeded, then I pulled all the growth in sidewalk cracks. I only have 1/2 of the front of the house to finish, but it was getting way too hot and the bees were starting to get aggressive as I was pulling weeds around their flowers. I'll finish that section tonight when the sun starts to go down. Then I have the whole length of my driveway to do, alongside the driveway up against my house are rocks which have become so overgrown with weeds, you can hardly see the rocks. I will try to do that this evening too. Then I'll tackle the backyard tomorrow, which is much larger.

My mom called to wish me happy birthday, and told me she & my aunt would like to come to take me to lunch tomorrow and possibly to the zoo, and they want to help with yardwork in the backyard. Tomorrow before they come I'll do a little cleaning inside the house. It's going to be a very productive weekend! Already starting to be so!

I am reading 30 pages back and where I post so when I saw the above, I had already read this:

I just got up after sitting for almost an hour. That's the first time I've sat today. I can hardly move my body. After my hours of yardwork yesterday, then I had to do some more when my mom and aunt came, then they made me walk around the zoo for a couple hours. I think my mom is trying to kill me.

And am convinced you are a glutton for punishment. Holly, take care of yourself!!

Actually, this was just a bit of the real me coming back. My motivation to get things, the house and yard, etc., back to normal condition. I feel confident we'll get the rest finished tomorrow. Or at least make good progress. All that's left is the living room and Tyler's bedroom. And if we do manage to get it all done, then I have a couple things I want to finally get hung on his wall and possibly do his wallpaper border that he's been waiting 2 years for me to do.

I am... nervously watching the news and also trying not to declare war with my sister who has a total of 3 whole bottles of water and apparently not much of an evacuation plan if we do have to leave... I'm hoping not... but I have no idea what to do...

BTW...I'm beginning to think no one is reading Planky much... I told him not to take too much of a sabatical after the cruise...

THIS IS SUCH A GOOD DAY FOR HIM.

I wish I was there to give him a big hug!!!!

I get to see them in about 3 hours, I think we might make a celebration for him to come home to.

This is the best place he has had in the IKF series. This is the race series that we travel all around Northern Ca for. WOW, such a great day, I'm so proud of him

We've been through a lot in 21 years, so I know what you mean.

About 5 years ago I had to have emergency surgery, and was in the hospital for nearly a week. I don't know who needed the comforting more, Sukie or me. Actually he did. I was the one on morphine, but he was a mess.

A couple of years ago while at work I started having chest pains, and got carted off to the hospital.

I told my boss that she should call Sukie and not the office manager. The office manager was quicker and gave Sukie the wrong hospital information.

He called looking for me can could not find me. I think he had to be peeled off the ceiling.

I'm not quite sure how he finally found the right hospital.

Funny story - Sukie once got carted off to the hospital. He was lying on a gurney and during the intake they asked him if he was allergic to anything. He said, "Yes, bad taste."

I'm allergic to idiots, I just decided.....

We studied Pajama Game in 8th grade as our music teacher had been in it. I have no idea what part he played or where, but he sure thought it was a great show. I do not remember what I thought of it at the time, but a trip to IMDb and this clip makes me think I am glad I am not spending money on it.
