Wii Lego Indiana Jones.

I have joined the ranks of people here playing Indiana Jones on the Wii.

I picked it up yesterday (I traded in some games). I'm having a lot of fun with it. It's cute.

Too bad you can't play with other people online, like with XBox and the PS3.

Well it's only fair. You suckered so many of us into getting a Wii Fit.

Lemme guess, you're gonna get "The Force Unleashed" for the Wii just like me when it comes out on Sept 19!

A grand villa will sleep 12 that even with the sofa beds.

Pretty expensive. An Old Key West Grand Villa during that season is 162 points for a Friday or Saturday night and 66 points Monday through Thursday.

The going rate seems to be between $10 and $12 a point.

There is a rent/trade sub-board here on DIS under DVC. There's also mouse owners.com (no space between mouse and owners) or dvcnews.com.

Ok... now this was the MOST SURREAL thing tonight...

Well today was a major overhaul in the kitchen day. Took out a bunch of the cabinets and tackled the z-brick. Heck we even took down some wood panelling that was on one wall and took the popcorn off of another wall.

But you should see the stuff we found!

Here is a piece of wallpaper that was found behind one cabinet. Can you imagine an entire kitchen covered with this stuff?

And here is where our island used to be. Check out that gorgeous brown lino that is at the bottom. I found this in our foyer and on our staircase too. The whole house must have been coevered in it!!

And here I am removing the wood panelling. Lots of holes but I'm glad it is gone.

And here is Shannon removing some more of that accursed Z-brick. We still have more to take off!

Lots done today but we still have LOTS to do.

Ian, I love both of these songs! When I watch the first one, it has a few glitches in it; is it that way for you? It really bothers me because the song is so beautiful and I wanted to download it to my iPod. I looked for it on iTunes but it's not there---

I enjoyed Brideshead Revisited. I'd neither read the book nor seen the original TV series, but a friend who had seen the TV series thought it was very true to it.

Sounds like everyone is casting their vote(s) for the next cruise--I'd go through the PC again in a heartbeat, especially with all my buds! And I'd LOVE to go to Alaska--the colder the better, as far as I'm concerned. I'm soooooo ready for summer to end. Today it was in the low 70s here--wonderful!!!

That "gorgeous brown lino" looks just like my original kitchen floor from 1977. What a laugh! I replaced it about 10 years ago, but there's still a little bit of it in the hot water heater closet in the laundry room. Ahhhh....memories!

Its been a busy day here. Ken already posted the pictures. It actually went pretty well today. A friend of mine came and picked up our girls this morning and they spent the whole day playing with her boys It was nice to work without the kids interupting. And then we were piling the cabinet pieces on the front lawn, and a new neighbour came to ask if they could have some and volunteered to take the rest to the dump

I zipped through the last 25 pages and now its time to make comments

Marilyn - wow 27 children We had 8 at Shaelyn's last birthday and that was enough little girls to fill the whole house with squeals, giggles and screeches!

Michelle - hope all is still good and you still have power. If not, play a game. Kill Dr Lucky is very humourous

Deborah - glad to hear your weekend was fun even if you didn't dance. That is funny that your friends with DJ Mike's family. It's a Small World!

Nan - Congrats to Wilson!

Ian - Love the concept of carrot abuse I giggled watching the "I like Mike" video. Poor Sukie when your manager sent him to the wrong hospital I was going to comment on you getting Wii Indiana Jones, but Ken beat me to it!

Monica - great chair! My aunt has the same one, its classic IKEA

Deb - your posting lots more, so I assume you are getting your energy level back. Good luck beating that wound this time

Holly - Having to write the letters down for kids to copy is what every kid needs. I still do that for Shaelyn sometimes when its words she doesn't know. Sometimes, its easier to write it down for her to copy than it is to verbally spell it out. From what you've said its great that Tyler had the patience to do it

Kelly - the marathon sounds really cool!

Tammy - sorry to hear the medication hasn't been working too well. Hope it gets better. Only 37 days until to the new iterneraries come out
