ok - my carrot confession scared everyone off.

No luck sofa shopping today. Tomorrow we're going to Rooms To Go to see what they have. Anyone ever bought anything from there? We need something in a neutral pattern, durable fabric that will hide cat stains. (Think living with toddler's) so we're not looking for expensive furniture - I don't want to put plastic slipcovers over everything like my grandparents had.

I've had more than one member turn orange.

I use the term abuse more in that some members derail their loss by overdoing zero point foods, which if eaten in enough quantity can put some over their points target.

Speaking though of carrot abuse, I came across this:

Wii Lego Indiana Jones.

I have joined the ranks of people here playing Indiana Jones on the Wii.

I picked it up yesterday (I traded in some games). I'm having a lot of fun with it. It's cute.

Too bad you can't play with other people online, like with XBox and the PS3.

Oh, I will! She brought him a couple suckers last winter after he shoveled her sidewalk, but he hasn't done anything for her lately, so I'm not sure what's up.

Jan, I read Tyler your emails and showed him the pictures. The guy made from pipes looked like C3PO from the Star Wars movies to Tyler. I didn't think so, but his glasses broke, so who knows what it looks like to him!

Hi All! Holly, Jan and Marilyn......I'm fine! Thanks for all the concern. I didn't get put into the hospital this time, thank goodness. I have a nasty infection that needed some heavy duty antibiotics, which I'm taking. Every day the leg has to get cleaned with antibacterial solution, so I have pain killers to take. John unwraps, throws me in the tub and lathers up the leg with the solution, then rinses it off with the shower head, then wraps it again. I have to go back to see the wound care specialist in one week, which is Wednesday.

I've just been knocked out with the horse pill sized antibiotics and the pain killers......I sleep all day and night. John says it looks like it's still got a long way to go towards healing. I haven't looked at it.....it's on the back of the calf on the right leg. I don't want to know. I just want it to go away already since it's been over a year now.

So thank you for your well wishes, let's hope we get rid of it once and for all this time......we'll see.

Well I guess it is going closer to New Orleans Michelle. You will probably get rain more than anything. Scary though.

So far...we're safe... they expect a ton of rain and flooding after at this point... not much drainage I hear...

But tonight we had an incredible sunset...

a concoction drink. I don't know what is in it. that was when I was young and stupid

I think it's Kalulah and maybe Vodka???

Just tell him it's his future. Afterall he's from the same crazy family you've been telling us all about lately, isn't he?

I just got up after sitting for almost an hour. That's the first time I've sat today. I can hardly move my body. After my hours of yardwork yesterday, then I had to do some more when my mom and aunt came, then they made me walk around the zoo for a couple hours. I think my mom is trying to kill me.
