These may already be posted here, but they are so great and I am having such fun looking at them, I decided to bring them here too.

Thanks everyone for the responses to my question about Aruba and PV. :) I hope our memories are as nice as yours!!

HOLLY: so far I have not found any pictures of the Canal Day BBQ but perhaps you can find one in a trip report listed on page one of this Thread.

V: I sent you an email about the race info. I hope you got it. Give me a call on my cell if you guys are going to come by and see us :goodvibes

and we're off....:car:

A veritable whirlwind of activity.

:thumbsup2 Sounds like a sound plan! The MD sounds like a great guy to be in on TEAM TYLER!!

Hang in there Holly!!

I did call and leave a message for the Dr. telling him about the conflict and giving him a heads up that they might be calling him about the "negative effects" they're seeing. Personally, I think the doctor will think they're nuts if they call with that complaint since he's only been on it one week! ;) I just wanted him to know that I'm not in favor of switching the med already, just in case his dad tries to pull something like that.

I'm also going to type up and fax the Dr. some info to put in Tyler's file, about the horrible day he started having and how he was able to pull himself around and regain control. And the afternoon teacher told me when I picked him up that she feels Tyler's starting to recognize when he's starting to lose control because she said he seems to hesitate before doing some acting out. This is great news that the Dr. needs to have on file so he will see slight improvements already after only a week. Tomorrow is when we start giving him the dose twice a day, so hopefully that helps too.

Ian & Sukie - doesn't look like I can make it to the event of the year. I will be with you in spirit.

It just won't be the same without you!:sad2:

OK, the wedding is OFF!

OK, well maybe not ... I've sunk too much money into our ensembles, still we will miss you.

I still know nothing beyond, what we're wearing and that I've ordered the cake topper from the UK.

We'll have to celebrate when we are next down in WDW.

Did the Dr give you an indication of when you might start to see the impact of the medication?

Bubba and V took a lot of pictures of the special parties on deck. They may have one of the food but I'm not sure if that's what you all are talking about.

He can't argue with those results. If there is side effects, you need to remember that almost everything has side effects but most you can live with. I hope it just keeps getting better for Tyler.

 What is WRONG with these people! :scared1:

:confused3 Ignorant I guess. :confused3
I carry some pictures and a little scrapbook almost everywhere I go and there are no opportunities to share. I do not understand this lack of interest.

I had some trouble with my laptop and when I called to find out what to do, the man I reached was in PANAMA CITY! :cool1: I told him we went through HIS canal. HE was interested.

He has good English too. He said that his Grandparents were from Barbados where English is the first language and due to the canal zone, Panamanians are quite fluent in English also. We had some nice chats in between figuring out what to do with the laptop. It is now at the Attitude Adjustment Center in Memphis.

Jan :earsgirl:

Well you probably weren't saying "This friend, that I met on the cruise"...... I say that a lot and I think they think I'm crazy because they don't understand how I could meet such great friends in two weeks.

I'm having a horrible time today, getting bombarded by e-mails from Tyler's dad AND stepmom about the prescription. They both claim they're seeing negative side effects and they're telling me about a friend's autistic nephew who was taking 4 times the dose Tyler is and was having bad effects, so they had to switch his med, now that scared them and they're saying they're going to ask the Dr. at the next appt to switch his med to the new one the autistic kid is on.

To each e-mail I've responded with a very short one or 2 sentence non-confrontational response, and they're so angry about it. Actually, I haven't responded to any of the stepmom's e-mails because I don't feel the need to explain myself to her.

I had a migraine this morning BEFORE this even started, and am about to lose my mind.

Then, the school called and told me Tyler's having such a rough day, if he doesn't get under control, they're going to ask me to pick him up. :scared:

oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. I'm praying that they give this a chance to get through the adjustment phase!!!!!!

Kelly, we found a drive in movie in Montclair. That is close to us. I didn't know if that was closer to you than Riverside.
.

Is that the Mission Tiki? We used to go there all the time, but when it was a bit of a dump. Now it is supposed to be wonderful. Huell Howser did a whole story on the place.

Thanks Jan. I might give a look after Tyler's in bed. He's picking out his bedtime book now.

He said usually by a week, and today is his 7th dose, so any day now. Especially since he starts double the dose tomorrow. :thumbsup2

That would be what I'm looking for. The bbq on deck on PC crossing day. :thumbsup2

That's exactly what I told his dad. He told me to stop acting like I know it all, and that he still will tell the doctor all his concerns. Well, the doctor even told him last appt that EVERYTHING can have side effects. The Dr. told him some kids even have bizarre reactions to Benedryl and other over the counter meds. So I'm sure the Dr. will tell him the same again.

I think so. I'm not sure if it's a dump but I figured it is worth a try since it is close. I'll let you know if it is alright.

Michelle and Jan will be happy to note I changed my avatar sig. At first I had no idea what you two were talking about! :headache: :lmao:

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 WE LOVE IT!!! (Well, I do!!!) :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Holly... follow the Drs. advice... you're dealing with alot of things there... Dad is in denial still... There's not much he can do, except not give Tyler the meds when he's with him and it will reflect badly on Dad if he does not comply... Do you best!!!
