I had a '99 Cougar. A far cry from a T-bird. Slipped a rod and blew the engine. Still sitting in my driveway in fact. Not sure if I want to sell it or blow the savings fund and put a new engine in it. I'm sure Shannon is just wanting me to "get rid of the damned thing".
Mine was a '94 T-bird... a dream of a car and it was the year that Ford bought Jaguar and they tested an engine in the model year I got... I used to go and get my car inspected or fixed and I couldn't figure out why they wouldn't bring it around by the front... then one time I went back and looked and they had my whole car open and they were all checking it out!!!

Hi everyone,
I've been reading and had a lot of things quoted to respond to but so much time has gone by and I'm tired so I just deleted all of them!
Happy Birthday to Molly and I enjoyed the pics from the play.
I've read all the discussion of school, learning disabilities, teachers, bullying, medication, testing, etc. with great interest.
Glad to hear that Tyler has a treatment plan and send prayers that he will have an easier time and a good school year.
Ian and Michelle, you guys are so funny! So is Woody, when he pops in...
I'm going to be getting a 2008 Civic hybrid as my new car. I might be able to pick it up tomorrow. I test drove it yesterday and I really like it. I think I got a good enough deal for a car that's in demand and short supply. Today I was on the phone most of the day taking care of things to do with the accident; everything seems to be working out OK.
I was having so much discomfort I went in to an urgent care center yesterday to have my ribs checked. They took 3 more x-rays and nothing is broken so it's just a matter of healing. My burn is looking pretty good; the small area that was a 2nd degree burn is getting smaller each day. I'm still feeling very tired so I'm trying to take it as easy as I can, but really didn't get to rest much at all today.
It's great to come on our thread and read the chit-chat, even if I'm not able to actively participate.
I'm going to try to get to sleep now--good night all & hello Marilyn and Deborah!
Cherie...
You will LOVE the Civic... it's obviously smaller than the accord, but it's got a great design and drives really well... what color are you looking for? Mom's got that really dreamy blue color - and she loves it!!!
