What’s for Dinner Tonight?

We're going out tonight (8 of us) to celebrate DH's birthday (even though it isn't until the 8th.....next weekend is too busy).
Going to Cheddars and then back here for presents and cake......late meeting though. Not until 6:30. DGS has 2 Lacrosse games about an hour away,

There’s a bunch of them in Florida. My DH ate there last night. It’s about 10 min from my condo.

DH liked it so much that he chose it for his birthday meal.

Today is errand day. We stopped for breakfast before running around. I had the biscoff cookie butter pancakes.

We are headed to dinner tonight for a friends birthday. It’s a new to me restaurant so no idea what I’ll get.

I wasn’t really hungry tonight. There’s a seafood place near me that starting selling their clam chowder in the grocery store. I had some in the fridge so I had that.

Thursday, we ended up returning to the sushi restaurant that I mentioned earlier. Like the previous night, they gave us complimentary tempura crab, which DH enjoyed. I ordered the sparkling sake again & DH had an old fashioned. We then ordered the delicious Dragon Egg that we went for, followed by Salmon Belly nigiri & Tobiko.

Last night, we had shrimp alfredo fettucine w/ tomatoes & spinach & toasted Italian bread.

Tonight, I'm making chicken & rice w/ black beans.

We had leftover chicken with sundried tomatoes & leeks with a side of rice.

We had leftovers of the pork roast that I made in the crock pot on Monday night. I made new sides- scalloped potatoes and green beans. It was as good as it was the first time. Great recipe, soy sauce, honey, garlic, parmesan cheese, pour it over the pork than cook on low for 6 hours.

I've been out of work all week with a horrible eye issue. Uveitis. Its an inflammation in the eye. I have had migraine level headaches on the left side, horrible light sensitivity. To the point of sunglasses in the house. Steroid eye drops every 2 hours. Ibuprofen every 6. It gives me some relief for about 2 of those 6 hours. Ugh. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
