You all survived!:laughing:

It ain't over yet Marilyn!!! :rolleyes1

You are correct dear Michelle, it was just one opening night out of s run of four nights.

It becomes a long weekend for sure.

Wilson is still hanging out with his Auntie and cousins. Molly and her friend are on to her camera to test it out and take some pictures.

Hey Lisa, what is Gretchen doing today for her bday?

Please send her our happiest wishes for a great year at 12 :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: (count the bananas)

Nan, I'm glad to hear the play went well and it sounds like Molly had a fun birthday! :thumbsup2

Thanks Holly. How is your head doing?

I've been wondering is Tyler's Dad going to make sure he is taking his meds when he is at his house on his nights/days? I was wondering it he is good about making sure this stuff is adhered to, like you would be? I guess I'm asking do you trust him with this? Just been thinking and hoping that Tyler is finding his way to a good path :hug:

Hi Marilyn

I am wearing my hearing aid (I cannot live without it) and I have 70 percent with my hearing aid. I love music and know some song and words too. That why and only I take it off when I go to bed and hearing nothing like peaceful!!:lmao: I carry batteries with me. My husband is total different from me he is not wearing hearing aid only sometime but I cannot do that, I will be lost without my digitial hearing aid.
Hi Deborah! I didn't realize you can hear 70% with your hearing aid, for some reason I thought you only read lips. That's great! :thumbsup2

.
What a great MD!.::yes::
.
I wonder if Tyler's Dad could accept the assessment better because the MD is a man and most of the other input was from women (who don't understand what it's like to be a boy.....)
.
Also glad Tyler will not have to go to the nurse's office for his medication as that singles a kid out for teasing or worse more than pull-outs for special tutoring or therapy.
.

Yes, I'm really happy with this doctor. Tyler's dad is still trying to be in denial, I think. He asked me the other day that he's concerned about this drug being addictive. I assure him it's not. He then told me he's going to do some research about it over the next couple of days, so I suspect when I see him on Saturday, he'll have a bunch of stuff printed out for me to take him and read. Like I said before, that man is going to give me gray hair.

About being pulled out of class, one teacher at school told me so many kids get pulled out for many different types of classes, the other kids actually envy those who get to leave class. :thumbsup2

Thanks Holly. How is your head doing?

His dad is forgetful, but stepmom has taken on the job of reminding him of everything. Plus, knowing how Tyler is, he'll probably remind his dad at bedtime too. Thanks for caring! :hug: I sure hope this helps him. I need to ask the doctor why he wants us (after next week) to give it to him in the morning too, rather than just doubling the bedtime dose, because I just picked up the Rx yesterday and the literature with it says it can make you sleepy.

My head was awful last night. Monday night I had a migraine for about 4 hours, but it went away sometime while sleeping (which never happens). I got another one yesterday that started late in the day and increased in intensity until it was pounding horribly all night long, making it almost impossible for me to sleep. I did fall asleep somewhere towards morning and slept right through my alarm. I woke up an hour later than usual and was 45 minutes late for work (but that's no big deal because there usually isn't work for me to do anyway).

Still waiting for Pfizer to process the free Rx, should only be a couple more weeks, then when I get one I can take that magic pill and be rid of it in 1/2 hour. :thumbsup2

But the good part is that last night's migraine lasted less than 24 hours (it ended around lunchtime today) when they used to last 3 days, so I'm OK with that.

The kids are in VBS this week and we just got back from the river. Brooke saw a friend that she hasn't seen since pre-k and they acted like they hadn't been apart and it was so nice. We love the family and it is refreshing to meet a great family that has kids both of our kids ages and are fun to be around for us. They are truly nice children. They were going to private school but they informed me that they will be going to our schools soon so we are really happy. Very boring for you all but we are happy.
.
I like happy news. ::yes::

I'll be keeping Tyler in my prayers for consistency with his Dad (& Stepmom).

Good luck on the headaches, sounds like the meds are working in the right direction, hang tough. When do you have a follow up with your doc for them?

My next appt is early October I think. In the meantime, he's having me keep a log of all headaches, whether mild or migraine, how long they last, what time of day, and what I ate beforehand. :thumbsup2 Some of the foods he told me to avoid, I couldn't resist, and they didn't give me a migraine afterwards, so I guess that's good.

Thanks for the prayers for Tyler. :hug:

I didn't realise either but it is great!

Aorry about the migraine Holly, but better news with them not lasting as long. I hope you get the meds soon so you can really benefit.

I was talkin about the hangover after the party.... :laughing:

Less than one more hour left at work. Uggghhh......I can't handle the boredom.

Twiddle your thumbs... it will give you excercise...
:rotfl2: Well, I did exercise my fingers.....I entered the jewelry order from Monday's show. It took the hostess until today to decide what she wanted to order. It ended up being a $853 show! 30% of that is cash to be deposited into my bank account a week from Monday. AND the hostess purchased $500 of jewelry for only $164.40, so EVERYBODY'S happy! :yay:
