This time they are real bow ties, and they arrived today. Our ensembles are complete.

Now we just need to learn how to tie a bow tie.

We took a stroll up the street and went to see Dark Knight this afternoon.

It was funny watching it because it was shot in Chicago, there are scenes that take place outside the building I work in.

I found the scene with the ferry boats interesting. I wonder where they came from and how much it cost to pilot them over to Chicago on the lakes from wherever they came from.

I was wondering if they were ferries from up around Mackinac, or, were they brought down from Canada, because we don't have any ferries here like that on the lake.

Otherwise...you'd be takin a boat to work... and unfortunately... it won't come with room service and movies up on deck...

Test drove the Tucson...loved it. Like it better than the bigger Rav4. (interesting the wheel base is only one inch different though) I think the great warranty and the super adjustable lumbar support will be the deal maker here. I love the idea that the warranty will last twice as long as it takes to pay for the car.

Test drove the Tucson...loved it. Like it better than the bigger Rav4. (interesting the wheel base is only one inch different though) I think the great warranty and the super adjustable lumbar support will be the deal maker here. I love the idea that the warranty will last twice as long as it takes to pay for the car.

Cheri will probably be first...I haven't gotten my check yet. Although I don't really need it first, as I coulld use my 0% Chase check for the downpayment ($50 service fee).

Not yet. I actually am going to a different dealer tomorrow (or maybe tonight) that gave me a better internet quote (about $1200 less than the dealer by my house), so that's who I'll probably buy from.

Can't wait to slap my DCL license plate holder on a new car! OMG.....should I get vanity plates?

Here's another question: If my last car was named Suki, what should I name this one?

Thanks! The autographs, anchors, and Mickey are all from Mickey and Friends. The sailor outfit is from Paper Dolls.

Ah, I am just like that when we look at a new car. I couldn't believe we got a higher quality car and it only had one cupholder in the wholething!!

I'm so glad about the cup holders. I think it must be a girl thing. We went for a test drive on a better car than we have now, and the first thing I did was to check for them, and there are still only 2, and those in the wrong place. The car salesman couldn't believe my concern!!!

Yup, just venting. I think I've had so many struggles with his dad, every little thing just sets me off. I guess I just felt like he thinks I don't have common sense enough to read the information that comes with the prescription. Best to just keep my mouth shut and when he asks if I read his email, I'll just tell him I haven't checked email yet today.

What a bummer. Tyler knows the county fair is coming this week because his weekly field trip with the school this week is to the fair. He realizes he might not get to ride many rides because of how many kids there are, so he asked if I could take him one day. I told him of course I would, but I just checked the fair schedule and it runs Monday through Saturday. Most fairs have a full weekend. This means the only chance we have to go is Saturday after 5 next weekend, which is fine, but I hate only having one shot because if it's raining all day that day, there will be no other chance to go. Well, I guess we could skip karate on Monday and go a little bit after work, and I'd just have to hope I can get him up the next morning on time.

Will you discuss the pros and cons of each option with him? He may have a perfect solution and if it is HIS idea then he won't be as disappointed if something goes wrong. Kids are good like that.

Marilyn... it's gonna be tough to get him to take the time for anything...but we will be working in LA alot so I may try to sneak in some time at DL... Him kicking and screaming maybe... but if he loves me... (he'll give me his credit card and let me go wild at World of Disney!!!)
