I'm so sorry for Will & Mickey. Please offer them my condolences. And for you Being a friend is the best thing that they need right now.

For me it's also a sad night. My Aunt Lue passed away this morning. She had be on declined for the last week, so it was known this was coming, but nonetheless sad. My cousin, Laura is who I'm most concerned about tonight. Her father, my father's brother passed about 15 years ago, so this makes her alone now. She has a brother but they don't get along at all. Laura is the Grandmother to the twins, one of which passed last summer, you may remember. If you can spare an extra prayer for my cousin and her grief that would be great.

Deb, stay strong and I agree with the advice you've received, tell those that are smoking around you that it isn't cool and it isn't helping. I think it's ok to voice your thoughts in this type of situtation. Good Luck

Paul and I had a nice couple days away. Always good to reconnect

For Will & Mickey (my friends that I know a bunch of you met)...

Just got off the phone w/ Will...he wanted to wait until I was back from VB to tell me all of this....

Will's grandmother passed away from a heart attack on Thanksgiving Day.
Mickey's dad (also sailed w/ us on the PC cruise) also had a heart attack on Thanksgiving Day & has not regained conciousness. He's brain dead. They took out the breathing tube today, and now they're just waiting for him to stop breathing. They are in Houston.

Will & Mick had been in NYC for the holiday...they watched the parade & went to Letterman & then found out the news.

Hi Sassy, are you all packed and ready to go? I'm so jealous, but happy for you. What are you planning to do in Nassau? Will you go to Atlantis for the day? It was beautiful when we were there only last year....hard to believe.....it feels like so much longer.

I've had to take something to sleep for so long now that I have to try and back myself off of it... I woke up at 4 pm today... I have no idea why mom let me sleep that long...

then I went to CVS to renew the Lyrica for the fibromyalgia and they wouldn't give it to me - I had to wait 3 days for the renewal and then I remembered I had a whole bottle of it here at home... Oh well...

But I'm doing some work also so I guess it's a good thing... I should go and check the overseas markets and see if they tanked too today...

Oh yeah...

I've had to take something to sleep for so long now that I have to try and back myself off of it... I woke up at 4 pm today... I have no idea why mom let me sleep that long...

How does the Lyrica work for the fibro? Should I ask my Rheumatologist about taking it? What does it help make better?

It's great that you're able to work at home. I had a home job and then it changed and I was brought into the office to work and I could not do it. I kept getting sick and falling asleep at my desk. I was a wreck. Now I just don't work. I try to stick to a 9 to 5 schedule at home. But that never works.

I'm at the Ramada Inn near the Phx airport. Funny thing, this place is $80 a night and includes free internet. This is the last free internet I get until I come home. Both the CBR and OKW charge $9.95 a day for internet and you know what it costs on the ship! So this may be the last you hear from me unless I break down and have to check my email at some point!

We don't have any excursions planned, although I might rent a bike on CC. It's always been way too hot to go for a bike ride all the other times I've been there. In Nassau we're going to just go to the straw market, maybe the pirate museum, look around a little. I'd rather spend the time on the ship and everyone else kind of feels that way, too. I figure we get beach time at CC. I'm so excited to be on the ship again, and to see the Wonder for the first time, and see the Toy Story show! And of course to see WDW!

Better get to sleep, 7:30 is pretty early for me! Our plane leaves at 10 a.m., non-stop . Pretty soon I'm on my way!!! Yeaaaaaaaaa!!!

Oprah's on a 4 Deb...

Lyrica seems to be the best med I've tried for the Fibro... My neurologist put me on it last spring and we upped the dosage slowly so my system got used to it. I get a very low grade throbbing all over along with every one of my joints hates me... that's what I woke up with today... the throbbing is what usually keeps me up at night - it's just enough to make me uncomfortable.

Ask him... it seems to work for me. Doesn't make me sleepy either... I just have to remember to take it daily instead of when I think I need it.
