Hi Kathe :flower3:

Enjoy that baby at Xmas :lovestruc

I will, thanks Nan. Enjoy your celebration at WDW and then the cruise! Looking forward to your holiday trip report :goodvibes

Hi Kathe. Nice to see you. Take care in that snow, and enjoy your son being home, and Serenity's visit.:)

Hopefully if all the folks going in May are at the same time we can have a meet!!!:yay:

Hi Marilyn , hope you enjoy Christmas too :goodvibes I hope we can meet up in May too! I'm not sure on everyone's dates, my trip is the 11th-18th.

Kathe: We are going to see her for the Christmas to New Years week. It is an 11 hour drive and that is when Tom can be out of the office. :drive:

Jan

Have a great trip Jan. You must be excited! Hoping you have good travelling weather, 11 hrs is a long drive.

How do we spell it here? I thought we spell it plough? That's how I spell it. Not that it's a word I write out very often.

I spell it plough too, except I remember spelling it that way on here last year, and everyone else spelling it plow...so I spelled it plow last night...you know...trying to belong :lmao: I believe the proper British spelling is plough and of course, living here in Canada...must follow traditions ;)

It's a SNOW PLOW! LIKE THE ONE JOHN DEERE INVENTED!

See above ;)

Forgot to say...

HI KATHE! Good to see you! Glad you get to spend time w/ your son & Serenity :lovestruc

Hi Monica  I know I saw some of your pics...but did you ever do a trip report for your trip to Spain? How was it? I hope you had an awesome time! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas...are you sharing a meal with Nan and family? Sure hope I'll get to see you in May.

Kathe

Happy first night of Haunkah. (Or it was a few hours ago!)

Got about 8 pages to catch up on. Hopefull I'll be able to sleep when I'm done. Had a little 'nap' from about 7PM-10:45P...now my sleep cycle is a mess. At least I don't have to get up and go to work in the morning!

.

I thought you'd get a kick out of this. It was from our Christmas party cruise.

Me with my pups.

And no, I was not jolly. I despise forced fun.

And one of them is taking your photo!!!:lmao:

That's why you can afford to cruise and go to WDW... ;)
Marilyn... love the shots... did you go a bit more blonde??? I like it...

:lmao: Exactly!!!

Yes it is a bit more blonde. i will see if I can keep it up, but the roots are either dark or GREY of course.:rolleyes1 Don't want to look tarty!

you people should all move to fl...77 here! the girls begged me to swim tonight.

If only we could.:)

Kathe

Kathe, we are there all May!!:yay: Monica and Connie are there all the time:lmao: , and Michelle is hopefully going to be there at some time. Perhaps there will be others too.:dance3:

Morning Marilyn!

Have a question about your photos.....why are Piglet and Tigger holding their ears????

MONICA.....tried to reply to your question on Facebook, but it's been down for about an hour this morning.

Regarding the cancel....do it whenever you want, or whenever you know for sure the Magic will not be your choice for that itinerary. I'll just be taking my deposit money and using it for WDW in September (YEAH!) so there's no hurry on my part.

Now I really don't know the answer to that Jackie!! Funny that, as I have a few photos with each of the characters, and I randomly chose the two with the ear holding!!!

 :sad1:

What are you doing awake by the way?

Oh, I had a nap late in the day and have totally thrown off my sleep cycle. I'll wander back to bed in a few minutes and give it another shot! Thankfully tomorrow isn't a work day, so I can sleep in a bit.

I'm excited because Cheri gave :thumbsup2 to a week at WDW before Tortola. So now we can help Ian and Suki celebrate their first anniversary...only fair since we were one their honeymoon with them.:rotfl:

.

We will be there for a few days before the cruise too. Hope we can meet up.

I did enjoy that breakfast, and it was our first Disney day too.:yay: :dance3: :yay:

I love Crystal Palace breakfast (and lunch). The last seating at breakfast or the first seating at lunch....and you practically don't need to eat for the rest of the day. Or at least not until a Casy's hot dog is required. :cool1:

Perhaps we should all book CP and have a great laugh!!!:rotfl2:

Will you be at WDW before Tortola? How many days?

(((....I'm over at the WDW Dining Plan forum right now..))))

When I went to grade school in the northeast, it must have been some sort of transitional period, because there were tons of words that I learned two spellings for. I learned color and colour, neighbor and neighbour, etc.

I still spell catalogue with the "ue" which is the way I learned to spell it.

I'm sure I learned plough with the "ough" as in "the farmer ploughs the fields." Now that looks right to me, surely it can't be "the farmer plows the fields?" That just looks awkward.

But then again, catalog looks very wrong, and catalogue looks right.

They don't do it all the time!!!;)

These will make great keepsake photos.

It was so kind of you to pose with Tigger and Pooh. Did they send you copies of the photos? Did they ask you to sign their autograph album?

Good Morning All.

According to Mrs. Bennet it is now -3 F (-19.5 C). I can attest to be being nippy. I have already been out shovelling this morning.

According to NOAA it is supposed to warm up to 5F with a low of 1F.

There is a winter "chill" advisory:

"A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE TO PRODUCE WIND CHILLS OF 20 TO 30 DEGREES BELOW ZERO. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND GLOVE."

That seems to be a bit more than just a chill. A chill implies don't forget to take a sweater to wrap around your shoulders. This seems a bit more like an arctic blast.

I do have to venture out to do my WW meetings. I wonder what the turn out will be like today.

I have already warned Sukie to stay in. I told him that if we need to do anything later, I'll get the car out.

Also according to NOAA, we are supposed to have some snow everyday this week through Thursday.

So far, we've had more snow in Chicago, than we had all of last winter.

OK ... off to do the final things to get ready to leave the house,
